late delivery, too late refund system.

I had to chase you three times for the wine to be delivered. You kindly reimbursed the delivery charge but it was irksome!

Excellent wine selection from all around the globe, efficient delivery and communication. Dan went out of his way to ensure we receive our ordered wines despite the holiday period.

I bought some Boigey wines on 2 Oct 2025 and to date, it has not been sent to wine storage with Corney and Barrow.

The wine held its price and will achieve a profit.

Tried very hard to execute my order after a setback due to a package being damaged and needing replacement.

Received my bottles after a bit of a delay but was favourably impressed by how customer relations dealt with the issue

Very poor communication, very slow to fulfil order. Not pro-active in customer service. A long process. Made good in the end, nice staff on the phone.

Recommended this company from a friend and great to find a supplier that ships to the Channel Islands. They proactively dealt with any shipping/ import administration. 10/10 communication and transparency, couldn't recommend enough. Tasked them with a finding a vintage port for a friend's 60th, they sourced and shipped it to ensure it arrived on time.

I had a mixed experience with Ideal Wine Company. While I managed to find a rare Burgundy at a good price and the overall process was smooth, the delivery timeline fell short of expectations, taking significantly longer than the 2-4 weeks stated. Communication could also be improved, as tracking updates were unclear and follow-ups were needed. That said, the responses to my inquiries were helpful and prompt, and the team was knowledgeable and polite. Overall, a reliable company with room for improvement. Four stars.

The website is a little confusing stating that my order was "Completed" 10 minutes after creating it. This meant there was no way to track the order status. However the response to my query on this was fast and informative. It took 6 weeks rather than 2-4 weeks as suggested, so don't depend upon the estimate. Otherwise the experience was fine.

Still waiting … for my order made in June we are in August
… no updates… but go an next day answer when i did send an email enquiring news, that was a couple of days ago … i might age before the wine …

Zero contact post purchase so I had to contact the company to ask where the order was after 4 weeks. (Delivery date was quoted as 2-4 weeks) They didn't reply to my email so I had to then telephone them when they were nice enough on the phone.

I was informed that the order would arrive at them in two days for delivery, so I then requested a delivery date of 11 days past this, which was plenty of time to do this.

Nothing arrived so I had to contact them again to ask where the order was.
Ordered then arrived that day, allegedly delivered by a director, who looked like he wanted to be anywhere but delivering something to me.

Not the type of service I would expect for the purchase I undertook.
