Ich habe die Steinel CAM L620 Aussenleuchte mit Bewegungsmelder und Kamera. Die App ist völlig schlecht konzipiert man kann den Radius der Kamera und des Sensors nicht eingrenzen und selbst der Baum auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite löst die Beleuchtung sowie auch die Aufzeichnung aus. Im Minutentakt bekommt man dadurch Push Benachrichtigung aufs Handy und die Lampe leichtet unnötig auf. Die Lösung des Supports sagt man soll mit einem Sticker den Sensor bekleben um das Problem zu lösen. Fast alle Konkurrenzprodukte haben die Möglichkeit per App Bereiche zu definieren daher Finger weg von Steinel!

Leider habe ich mich bei meiner Gartenbeleuchtung für die Steinel Spot Garden entschieden. Insgesamt habe ich 10 Stück im Einsatz.
Davon sind die ersten 4 nach 4 Jahren kaputt gegangen und eine nach bereits 1 Jahr.
Zwei sind ausgetauscht worden und nach 2 Jahren nunmehr wieder defekt.

Dh, ich habe 7 kaputte Spots in 4 Jahren.

Daher kann ich schon sagen, dass die Produkt-Qualität nicht hält, was das Marketing von Steinel verspricht.

Schade, denn ich habe mich bewusst für eine Firma entschieden, die in D und anderen Ländern in Europa fertigt.

Ich habe eine Heißklebepistole MobileGlue 3011 inkl. Akku und Ladegerät aus dem Shop - und bin begeistert von Versand und Gerät. Danke!

Auch hier hat nicht die kleinste Kleinigkeit den Ausschlag gegeben, eine schlechte Bewertung zu geben, sondern geht nun fast 4 Jahre.
Steinel ist „eigentlich“ für Qualität bekannt und die Lampen sehen auch schön aus, da zahlt man auch mal gerne mehr, wobei 700€ für paar Lampen dann schon eine Hausnummer ist.
Nun sind wir aber seit mehr als 3 Jahren sehr unglücklich und der Kundenservice ist auch nicht so die Granate.
Den Steinel STEINEL L 830 C LED-Außenwandleuchte, anthrazit, haben wir an der Eingangstüre befestigt. Wenn wir bei Dunkelheit aus dem Haus gehen, gehen wir erst einmal 4-5 Meter im Dunkeln. Wir haben Steinel geschrieben, die einzige Antwort «das liegt leider daran, das der Sensor
160° hat statt der benötigten 180°, und der Sensor unten drunter keine Erfassung hat, sprich eine Totzone von ca. 1 Meter.» Ist halt einfach so, Pech gehabt.
Das zweite grosse Problem sind die Steinel 9,1-W-Sensor-LED-Standleuchte GL 80 SC ANT LED iHF, mit HF-Bewegungsmelder, App, schwarz. Teuer aber wir dachten, «Hey, das klingt cool». Sind eingebaut, mit dem Bluetooth und der App zu verbinden schwer und Glückssache. Was uns einfach stört, obwohl sie eingestellt sind nicht empfindlich zu reagieren, so gehen die Ständig an. Wenn es dunkel ist, gehen die in der Stunde manchmal 27-mal an. Das stört uns, nervt die Nachbarn und kostet vor allem Geld.
Wie gut eine Firma ist, zeigt sich nicht, wenn alles super läuft, sondern wenn ein Kunde Probleme hat und Hilfe benötigt. Uns kann da leider keiner weiterhelfen, oder will es nicht, wobei wir jedes Mal recht nett sind, am Telefon oder beim Schreiben. Aus den genannten Gründen kann ich leider keine gute Bewertung schreiben und hoffe, dass man uns nun ernst nimmt und uns nach über 3 Jahren mal hilft.

Ich hatte ein Problem mit der Leuchte Senses Mooove und bzgl. einer Ersatzteilbestellung den Kundendienst von Steinel kontaktiert. Ich bekam umgehend eine sehr freundliche Antwort. Das Ersatzteil wurde sofort gut verpackt an mich verschickt und hat - da es das letzte Stück war - nichts gekostet. Noch mehr Service geht nicht - ich bin begeistert!

I purchased three outdoor PIR Lanterns (Model L190S refers) in white colour. After several years (and just outside the 36 month guarantee period) the paint started cracking and flaking off. I have two of the same in black and they appear to be unaffected. I contacted Steinel UK and they sent out three replacement lights as a good will gesture. Very impressed.

Ich besitze auch 2 Lampen XLedcam mir Bewegtmelder, zwei mit Software aus 2020 und nun eine dritte aus Software 2020 , wo die Anfrage über mobiles Internet nicht geht , und der Service einfach nicht weiterhilft, warum funktionieren 2 aber eine dritte nicht, Steinel sagt nicht die Wahrheit ! Nicht zu empfehlen , sie wollen Zugriff auf Bilder , sagen aber Datenschutz , es ist eine manipulierte Software drinnen .

Die Lampe macht ihren Job - aber: wie kommt man auf die Idee an eine weiße (Außen)lampe - die vermutlich auch auf eine weiße Wand geschraubt wird - ein SCHWARZES Anschlußkabel zu montieren?

Ich habe leider schon länger 4 Steinel LED-Außenwandleuchte XLED CAM gekauft.
2 am Haus angebracht!
Kann nur sagen „Schrott“!!!
Es ist nicht möglich eine Einstellung u zu finden die normal funktioniert!
Habe schon einiges an Zeit verbracht dass die Leuchten teilweise nicht immer an sind.
Alle Einstellungen geändert und die Leuchten sind oft durchgehend an!
Habe schon mal beim Kundenservice angerufen, aber das ist ein Kundenservice wohl nicht gewünscht!

Lampe mit Überwachungscamera absoluter SCHROTT !
Wildtiere spielen vor der Camera und weder die Lampe noch der Infrarotsensor reagiert. Lampe hat ein Eigenleben und schaltet sich an und aus wie sie lustig ist. Die 400 € für zwei Lampen hätte ich direkt in den Müll werfen können. Steinel nie wieder!!!!!!!!!

Um es gleich vorweg zu schreiben: Das erworbene Produkt, in diesem Fall ein Bewegungsmelder, ist einwandfrei. Die Firma hat langjährige Erfahrung auf diesem Produktfeld. Kritik gibt es jedoch für die Hotline, den Service der Firma. Deshalb auch nur zwei Sterne.
Dem von mir erworbenen Rundum-Bewegungsmelder liegt eine Beschreibung bei. Noch ausführlicher gibt es eine Dokumentation auf der Homepage. Habe ich mir auch ausgedruckt. Aber Ober- und Unterteil zu trennen, um an die elektrischen Anschlüsse zu kommen, gelang mir trotz Zeichnungen und Erklärungen nicht. Tolle Idee der Designer bzw. Ingenieure, aber kaum nachvollziehbar. Also Anruf bei der Hotline, die als Service-Nummer in der "Quick-Start"-Anleitung angegeben ist. Weil der Ansprechpartner mehrmals rückfragen musste mit relativ langen Wartezeiten, Gesamtdauer rund 40 Minuten. Gebracht hat es überhaupt nichts. Der Telefonpartner wusste nichts und seine befragten Kollegen gaben Hinweise, die überhaupt nicht nachvollziehbar waren. Nach über einer Stunde hatte ich die Technik selbst herausgefunden. Auf eine solche Hotline kann man echt verzichten.

ABSOLUT NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN!!

Relationnel catastrophique. J'ai commandé une plaque de rue lumineuse crépusculaire mais il n'y avait pas de plaque autocollante avec les numéros. La commande a été passé sur Amazon, le carton n'était pas ouvert et il été bien scellé. Le marchand ne peut rien faire car il n'a pas de planche en détail. Le numéro de téléphone présent sur la fiche Amazon me conduit chez steinel. J'ai eu une personne désagréable qui n'a rien voulu faire. J'ai une plaque de rue sans numéros. Je devait acheter des potelets pour l'allée mais je ne le ferais pas et plus jamais je ne commanderais ni conseillerais cette marque.

Terrible product, I used to swear by this company as being one of the best. Fitted 3 x xled flood lights with pirs and all 3 have failed because the glue holding the front cover on has given up, resulting in water getting in to all 3 fittings.

We bought 6 Steinel products in total – 1xL600, 3xL605, 1xXLED Home 2 and 1xL620. The purchase of L600 was the worst purchase I ever made, so I think others should know how much trouble they may have with Steiner products and customer service if they decide to buy their products.

We reported that our L600 stopped working on Sep 1st 2021. Steinel agreed to accept our reclamation and send us a new L600. After some issues to organize the pickup, we finally sent our L600 to Steinel on Sep 17th. No confirmation that they received the package nor when they will send us a new L600 was made. They returned to me on Oct 1st with information that they did not get my package even though I could see that they received it on Sep 22nd. On Oct 5th they said that they found the package and that my new L600 is on the way. On Oct 13th as I still didn't receive my new L600, I wrote to them again. On Oct 14th they answered that they don't have L600 in stock and that they will deliver it on Nov 10th. I protested but I did not get any answer, not even a short apology. On Oct 30th I asked if my L600 will be delivered on Nov 10th as promised and they answered that they sent it on Nov 3rd (it turned out to be L620 instead of L600, but that is ok). We got our new L620 on Nov 6th but it was not working either (the camera restarts by itself every minute or so). I reported this again but no answer for a week. I repeated my complaint on Nov 14th and finally on Nov 24 they said they will arrange a new pick up. On Dec 1 I sent my L620 to Steinel and asked when they will send me a third L600/L620. They said again that the product is out of stock and offered to return me the money. I accepted that On Dec 4th and since then neither have I got the answer that they sent me my money nor even the confirmation that they received my returned L620. I sent two reminders after that on Dec 10th and Dec 15th but no answer. So basically Stainer stole my ~220 EUR that I spent for the L600 leaving me now to seek justice in court.
After all the problems I had one would think they would do everything they can to make up for my troubles (we exchanged 55 emails in total) incl. offering us a substantial compensation. But instead they didn't even apologize once all this time and also refused to give me their direct phone number. As I don't speak German, I am of course not able to come through their voice machine assistant when calling their number available on Google.

I just want to comment that we got a good personal assistance with our issue in the end. We got our money back and also an apology, so everything is resolved now.

U.K. purchase via Amazon.
I Purchased two night matic 2000. After two weeks one refuses to switch off in the morning and remains on all through the day in strong sunlight. I queried with their tech dept and received the reply “
when the twilight setting is set to 2 lux,
the NM 2000 may only switch on when it gets dark.”🙄
Not what I expected from a quality German manufacturer. In fact it’s the poorest experience I’ve had given that I have a lot of high quality German made items including my car. Very disappointing😕

I used to be a fan of this company and its products but they have gone downhill.

I made the mistake of buying their L22 sensor-switched outdoor light to illuminate a small area of patio outside my kitchen door. When I eventually got around to installing it (over a year after I bought it) I was dismayed by the very low level of light emanating from the recommended E27 60W filament bulb. I had to look directly at the unit to make sure that it had come on. I still needed a torch to see the step immediately outside the door, even though the L22 was installed at a height of 8ft just above the door.

Too late to get a refund from Amazon, I contacted Steinel UK directly and asked if they would swap my L22 for another XLED Home 2 XL model which I had purchased a week earlier and was giving adequate, if not bright, illumination elsewhere.

Steinel UK's Head of Internal Operations, Nicole Edwards told me that the L22 wasn't designed for functional illumination so I pointed out to her that neither their website nor Amazon's made this clear. So she offered as a goodwill gesture to sell me a XLED Home 2 XL model at trade price. But her "trade price" of £80.34 inc VAT turned out to be more than I can buy the same unit for from Amazon, including delivery, so I was underwhelmed by her notion of "goodwill".

She refused to budge and I came her to post my review. My L22 will soon be listed on eBay - with a warning that it doesn't actually emit any useful light, so I may not find a buyer.

I read that Steinel's international business has recently been sold so that may explain why the company seems not to be trying any more.

Seem to get no more than about 2 to 3 gears out the PIRs the ingress occurs in spite of being IP54 enclosure.

Fitted 6 steinel lights to our garden which worked without fault for nearly 5 years when one failed (products were warrantied for 5 years).
Steinel UK were a pleasure to deal with and offered either a full refund or a replacement of the faulty item.

I wish all companys ran their customer service and warranty departments like Steinel, their products can be purchased in confidence which is unusual these days.
