Two things: one a mistake, and one a comment on the product. First off, Stonecrete pasted the wrong delivery note to the wrong pallet, so we received the wrong delivery. Stonecrete rectified this as quickly as they could, but it took some 3 weeks to do so. Winter then intervened, and I wasn't able to install the cills until mid-April, over 5 months later than planned.

Second, the cills seem very friable; they chip and mark very easily. Just moving one of the incorrectly delivered cills caused it to develop a hairline crack. I'm not sure how to protect them for the long term.

Helpful when I rang , delivered early all good

At Stonecrete I finally found the paving slabs I needed to extend a circle I had put down some years before from a different source and now unavailable. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the items were packed onto a pallet and very well wrapped and secure. I was kept informed re the delivery by the carriers and all went very smoothly. the product is great but delivery was chaotic - did not arrive on the day scheduled and then turned up the next day - no communication

I ordered on a Sunday - someone called me to check the order on Monday - I asked when it would be delivered and the advisor said the Friday hopefully - so I booked the Monday and Tuesday off - to do the job. I think the items turned up Tuesday around 5pm - luckily I had cancelled the time off but I just felt disappointed. It would have been better to set expectation lower and exceed. Not sure if the delivery company has let you down? The product has been fantastic. No issues there. Sorry to moan. :-)

Some porosity in the pedestals otherwise excellent colour and shape

Found these coping stones and capping stones online. They were the colour we wanted. Local builders merchants didn't have them in stock, but Stonecrete came through for us. Delivered early too.

Not the best experience. I waited over 12 weeks for my coping stones will not be using them again.

I am looking to build a new wall this year and put new coping stones on top , the ones I have looked at seem really good value for money and after receiving a small sample I feel that they will be perfect for the job
