They raised the fees and added insurance without notification, never asked if we had home owners or renters insurance, so we had to double pay. Their late fees are outrageous. They do not work with you or allow partial payments.

Increased prices but no value
After purchasing the storage facility from another large storage company Store space has not added much (any in my opinion) value to the facility, yet there has been many changes. The first change that came about was an increase in rental pricing. this would not have been too bad except they also made it mandatory that customers either acquire insurance documentation for their storage unit or pay an additional fee to be covered under the company's policy. If that wasn't enough they also move the due date earlier in the month, without any justification as to why which makes it seems as if its ANOTHER way to gt more money by interrupting renters payment habits and collecting on late fees. Again, the real issue is that there has been NO VALUE ADDED. No new gates, keypads, new paint, not fancy lounge areas, upgrade trash pickup, expanded storage areas, NOTHING. They were generous enoughto give us ONE MONTH to "ease" into the changes. They also kept the previous staff, which honestly is the BEST thing they could have done. All and all it has not been an enjoyable experience since they took over, no improvemants have been made and the money paid keeps going up. I'll be leaving as soon as I can.

Not the most secure facility
Not the most secure facility. The fence does not surround the property, it is just in the front. There are only like 4 cameras and they just cover the entrance and the office. The rent is competitive, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Office Makeover & Price Increase
The young ladies who work the Glenn Heights, TX storage units are sweet and very accommodating. The new owners did give notification of price increases, however the young ladies who work the office are taking all the heat. I gave the rating of 2 because for the facility the pricing is un-reasonable; I cannot understand why the new owners felt they had to give the office a new makeover ( the previous design was not outdated) and I believe the makeover of the office space should not be transferred to the storage space renters.

Went up 20$ on my rent when they bought…
Went up 20$ on my rent when they bought the property. Forced me to take out insurance. Late fees are ridiculous. I only stay because they are a block from my home

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. New ownership from out of state doesn’t care about the customers. The only thing they care about is getting money from you. The place is a filthy mess and I can’t wait to get out of here.

They charge top dollar for a shithole of a facility... my unit is full of dirt the blew in with leaf blower, insects, ants, roaches all over the place... they should burn it to the ground and restart fresh...
