It was a very painless process and…

It was a very painless process and pleasant experience. The young lady was thorough polite and extremely knowledgeable. It only took a few mins to do all the paperwork. The facility is very nice and clean with a great layout that makes navigating the area with a full size truck easy.

Worst company ever!

Worst company ever!! Had my storage payment set up automatically to come out on the 5th every month. They decided to put my payments through on the 1st which caused overdraft fees, then they were supposed to send a letter to give my bank so I could be credited back to my account. That never happened either. I've had my storage unit for 4 1/2 years and I've never had so many issues. I started paying $80 a month it has now increased to over $180 a month. It's actually cheaper to buy your own unit compared to renting through this company.

Again, our sincerest apologies the change in billing cycle associated with new ownership was not communicated clearly. We do have a 1st of the month billing cycle, which we find works best for our customers in terms of planning and budgeting. Looking through your records, it does appear your credit was issued.

I love this place

I love this place. Been a customer for 5 years. Even when owners changed hands, everything went seamlessly smooth. Service remained great. AND AFFORDABLE! (very important to me) Facility is well light, well secured, and very clean. Prices are FANTASTIC!! I have sent Great Space Storage several customers over the years. Every one of them has been satisfied.
Rest assured, you'll be satisfied, too.

24/7 access includes service!

It was Sunday afternoon, we hadn't placed our lock on our unit since we needed to make extra keys. When we arrived to put some items into our unit we found it locked. Strange since I still had the lock. I called the district manager expecting to leave a voicemail message. Much to my surprise he answered. He allowed me to store my few items in an empty unit near by. Within an hour he had investigated the problem with the site manager and returned a call to me. They discovered the problem and initiated action to have it corrected by the following morning.

So far I am very disappointed with…

So far I am very disappointed with Store Space. They took over the company where I was renting a storage shed with no notice to the customers. There was little to no communication about changes but they made darn sure to reach us to tell us the rates were going up dramatically. Also, they have made insurance mandatory so quickly that you had little choice but to go with their overpriced insurance.
As soon as I am able I am emptying my shed out, closing the account, and making sure I let others know not to do business there unless they want rate increases to a faceless company that apparently doesn’t really value anything but their customer’s money.

First couldn’t get in gate

First couldn’t get in gate. Code changed without notice. The fence completely ripped down. Also forced to take out insurance. No one ever at location. Liked mr warehouse better

Warehouse area is always clean

Warehouse area is always clean. I am retired from Sears and have hired thousands of people. If I was still hiring, I would hire Savoy in a heartbeat. She is smart, very good with people, and always has a smile on her face when she greets you. She is definitely material for a higher position. District Mgr. Alan has always responded to any questions I may have, almost immediately. This company hires great folks. Just needs to work on customer retention instead of continual raising of rents and running off customers that have been there for years. Maybe raise base prices for new customers, but need to show some loyalty to existing customers that have paid their rents on time.

Looking through your records, there was a nominal fee increase for your unit for +/-$10, associated with new ownership. We do hope the increased security measures and trained storage professionals recently hired demonstrate this increase was put to good use. Also added to your contract was a fee (roughly the same amount,) applied to a tenant protection policy, something we do insist upon to protect you and your property.

Lastly, our billing cycles run the 1st on every month. We have found this is most convenient to the majority of our clients as it helps with planning and budgeting.
