I had a great experience with Strength and conditioning education on their Level 4 strength and conditioning course. The whole process was really well thought out and I felt supported through the whole thing. The in person education and assessment was also really great and the instructors/assessors gave wonderful feedback.

I have been a personal trainer for years and been training for over a decade and I found this course invaluable. The theory is broken down into very digestible chunks and I was able to rewatch until I was happy before moving on. The manuals and extras are all very good too! 10/10 would recommend.

Do not do this please poor quality and will take payments as and when they decide to even when the money is in on the day they say they're taking. Tried contacting on several occasions put on hold and then cut off after an hour waiting. Emailed the email address they claim they answer (listed below) on several occasions never responded even the one I wrote to about 2 weeks ago is still waiting a response 🙄. Now they are expecting payment for a useless course and even if I wanted to I couldn't do as they've closed my account however still demanding payment as I ended up having to close the account down just simply due to this company

Dear Alison. We are really disappointed to receive your review. With regard to your payments, whilst we have attempted to take these on the agreed dates, your payments have regularly failed which has caused a problem with your payment schedule. Despite us contacting you about this on several occasions, you still have a significant outstanding balance with us and we have not received a payment from you since November.
You have previously raised concerns about the quality of the L4 course. Our customer service team responded to ask you for some more detail so that we could properly investigate your concerns, however you would only advise that you consider the course not fit for purpose. Our Level 4 course has been refined over ten years and regularly receives outstanding feedback from students. It been awarded a 3-star quality assurance rating with CIMSPA which is the highest rating that they offer. The course is also endorsed with the NSCA. Having said this, we appreciate that there will always be improvements that we can make, and this is why customer feedback is incredibly important to us. We therefore would like to ask once again that you contact us at info@strengthandconditioningeducation.com with some detailed feedback as to why you feel the course to be poor quality and our team will offer you a full response.

Having already completing a Bsc degree in physical activity & health and level 3 PT around 4 years ago. I wanted to refresh my knowledge and skills. This course did that for me, helped me to remember things I had forgotten and also learn new aspects of S&C.
A very in depth course and a supportive team of coaches. Would definitely reccomend! Thank you

Level 4 S&C Program
Great experience overall! After having already completing the Youth S&C Pathway, I moved onto the L4 course. The curriculum was in depth and informative, and also provided a wealth of practical examples to draw from. The case study provided the opportunity to really dive into the methodology that goes into creating a personalized, effective program. I would fully recommend to anyone looking to take their S&C journey to the next level!

It took me 18mths to complete the course due to work commitments, but I have really enjoyed it, the workshops and assessments workshop was brilliant as got to meet other coaches and share ideas and practice.likewise the support group helped along the way, can't wait to start to use my new qualification in supporting others to achieve their goals

This was a great certification
This was a great certification. Being American and thinking of the CSCS as my only way out, this level 4 course goes into detail with their teaching methods and has me confident as a coach. The practical application seems to set this apart than just studying from a textbook and taking an exam. They are next level!

Course is well-designed
Course is well-designed so you can complete them at your own pace between work and other life commitments. Remote tutor support via WhatsApp was very effective too. Really enjoyed the workshop weekend and the assessment day. Learnt loads and met some really good people. Would recommend to any fitness industry professional.

S&C Coach qualification made easy
Online learning platform is super easy to navigate and progress. The combination of video and written learning resources is balanced just right.
I'd recommend choosing the "in-person" elements if possible too as it's great to have that face to face learning and the opportunity to meet others in the same place as you.

I had a very disappointing experience with Strength and Conditioning Education (Catalyse Group Ltd). Their communication is poor, and they seem more focused on chasing payments than providing quality service or support. Despite my financial situation as a self-employed parent, they showed no flexibility or willingness to discuss reasonable payment options. Instead, they passed the matter to debt collectors without any real effort to resolve things fairly.
I would not recommend dealing with this company—be very careful before committing to anything with them!

We are extremely disappointed to receive your review.
On 29th April 2024 you enrolled onto our Level 4 Award in Strength & Conditioning and agreed to pay for this via a payment plan for which you signed a payment plan agreement. This agreement included our full terms and conditions. After signing this agreement, we provided you with access to the full course and you completed the Introductory phase of the course in full before moving on to complete 3 modules of the second phase of the course. We delivered the course to you in full in good faith after you had agreed to enrol and pay for it. There was no scam here.
Six weeks after your enrolment, you contacted us to inform us that you no longer wanted to continue with the course as you had decided that it was not aligned with your current educational and professional needs. You also explained that you were no longer able to afford the course due to unexpected financial constraints. Our team responded to your email the same day and advised you that you could not cancel as you were outside of the terms and conditions to do so. We did however reassure you that you could complete the course at your own pace when the time was right for you and offered tutor support. You responded to this email to claim that you had not signed any agreement. Our team responded within 24 hours with a copy of your signed agreement form. Again, we advised that we were on hand to guide you through the course and support you in any way that we could.
In July last year you contacted us to retract your cancellation request and to ask instead to be transferred from our Flexi option to our Total Online option as you had no interest in attending our workshops and to receive a refund for this portion of the course. We do not offer the option to transfer between courses, however with the interest of helping you and adding some flexibility, we offered you the option of you swapping the face-to-face workshop to one of our online video bundles.
Finally at the end of the summer last year, our team reached out to you to see if you needed any help with your studies. You responded to this message to say that you had already advised that you had cancelled. Our team advised you once again that we could not cancel your place.
We are really sorry that you feel our communication is poor, however looking at all correspondence you have sent to us, our team have always responded swiftly and with offers of support and advice. We have also been flexible enough to agree to you swapping the practical portion of your course for online content instead. The fact of the matter is that despite us supplying you with this product in good faith, it has been 7 months since we received a payment from you. Our Finance team wrote to you on the 10th January advising that your balance was due however sadly we did not receive a response to this letter. This is why your debt has been passed over to be collected by a third party.
Should you wish to discuss re-setting your payment plan with us and completing the course which you have begun, please contact our team at info@strengthandconditioningeducation.com and we will be more than happy to help you.

Paid the deposit for the course but I explained to them I needed help due to my personal problems , even though I only paid the deposit and never started the course, they still chasing me for the money even though I had nothing in return, stay well clear off this course , there are better ones to choose

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of your experience. Our team have now been able to look into the concerns that you have raised. We can see that you enrolled onto our Level 4 Award in Strength & Conditioning back in October 2022 and agreed to pay for the course using one of our instalment plans.
Our records show that the course was delivered to you and that you accessed the materials on several occasions in the weeks after your enrolment. We can see that you contacted us at the time to say that you were struggling to get going with the course and one of our customer service advisors organised a support call with you to explain everything and also followed this up with additional emailed support.
You went on to contact us a week later to request to cancel for financial reasons. Unfortunately, you were outside of our terms and conditions to cancel your contract with us, however at this point our team offered to reduce your monthly repayments to make things more manageable for you.
On many occasions our team offered support with the course and repeated the offer to reduce your repayments, however despite us contacting you on many occasions, your repayments stopped. We understand that not being able to cancel your place on the course was disappointing for you, however the terms and conditions of your enrolment were clearly provided within the agreement form which you signed upon enrolment, and looking at our records our team have always been friendly and supportive.
Whilst we cannot cancel your booking and your course fees will still need to be paid as per your agreement, our team are still on hand to give you all the support that you need to complete the course.
If you would like to re-visit the course and pick your studies back up, please do contact our team on info@strengthandconditioningeducation.com and we will be more than happy to help you.

Did the L4 S&C - really enjoyed the workshop, learnt lots of new things. The course is definitely useful if you want to coach athletes, particularly football/rugby. The assessment feedback was much quicker than anticipated / other similar courses and was thorough and helpful, which was appreciated!

Level 4 S&C course
The study material, and especially the gym based video tutorials were really good. The course was harder than I expected, especially as I already have undergrad and post-graduate qualifications that include A&P and exercise physiology as well as many years competing in elite sport. But I saw this as a good thing as it really made me focus and it separates it from the level 3 qualification. Something to be proud of.
I look forward to working with gym clients alongside my established physiotherapy business.

Horrible Organisation....
Had an absolute awful experience with this company. Signed up to the Level 4 course and very shortly after (within 8 weeks) had a very stressful situation arise at home, which didn't allow me to carry on with the course. I explained to them at the time, explaining that I'd not done any course work, was happy to return all the course information and finish everything then. There was absolutely zero empathy from their sales team. They constantly harassed me chasing money for something that due to my extreme circumstances I couldn't carry on with. I would definitely not recommend this organisation again. They have a hard task sales team who constantly mither you and a very unempathetic manner when dealing with extreme circumstances like mine. They're still chasing me for £900.00, which I've had to pay even though I'm not doing the course!!...awful business!!!!

Thank you for your review. We have had a look at our records and can see that you enrolled onto our Level 4 Award in February 2021 at which point you committed to a 24-month payment plan.
The course was delivered to you, and you began to work through the course materials. We have record that you have accessed and worked through several of the course modules. After 3 months on course, you began to miss your payments, and our team began to contact you regarding this in August 2021.
Eventually we had contact from you in March 2022 when you reached out and explained to us that due to a family concern you could no longer afford your repayments. Our team responded immediately with empathy, and we organised for your monthly repayments to be lowered making them more manageable for you which you agreed too.
Unfortunately, despite this agreement, you have continued to miss your payments and have not responded to communications from our team. Whilst we understand that you are disappointed, we have supplied the Level 4 Award to you in good faith and the course will need to be paid for as per your original agreement.
