Completed the Level 4 S&C Coaching…
Completed the Level 4 S&C Coaching course fully online and found it extremely informative and helpful. The communication was nice and easy and when I had a few technical issues whilst filming my assessment videos, the team were very responsive and understanding which allowed me to complete the course without having to re-submit lengthy pieces of work.
Would recommend the course to anyone looking to progress their knowledge and skills.

Review of L4 S&C Course
I recently completed my L4 S&C Coach qualification with SCE in 17 months and had a great experience overall.
Customer Service: Responsive and helpful, especially via email. I'd recommend chatting with them before signing up if you're unsure about the course.
Booking & Affordability: Easy to book, with payment plans available. Clear terms, but read the fine print to avoid surprises. Course material is accessible immediately after sign-up.
Course Content: Online and varied, though not all content is equally relevant to everyone. You'll need to tailor the material to your needs and do extra research for the case study.
Tutors: Very accessible and supportive, especially during the case study and practical assessment phases.
Assessment: Clear criteria for theory, case study, and practical exam, though the theory exam focus could be made clearer from the start. Feedback is thorough and helpful.
Overall Experience: While distance learning can feel isolating, the practical workshop and Elite Coach group provide personal interaction. The course is self-paced, which was great for me as a busy working mum. Mastering Olympic lifts for the practical exam was challenging as I had zero experience with these, but there’s ample support and practice opportunities.
Suggestions for Improvement: I'd love to see future content addressing S&C for female populations, such as pregnant-, post-partum- and menopausal women.

I thought I had researched enough before choosing this course and I was so WRONG.
I just completed the 18 lessons then skipped to the test. Nothing on the course is in the rest it is all in the 'course recap' lesson where they go on about a load of new stuff that hasn't been talked about on the entire course.
As soon as you sign up you are emailed 2x a day selling you how to make 6 figures. This guy talks but doesn't actually say anything on the 'how'. Don't believe any of it.
I already have a degree in Sport Science and Physiology and learned nothing useful on this course about A&C specifics.
CIMSPA should seriously consider removing S&C education as a partner.
I would really like my money back but there is no hope of that. Absolute scam.

We are very disappointed to read your review, particularly as we have not had any contact from you directly to say that you are unhappy with the course. We are sure if you had reached out to us and given us the opportunity to address your concerns, we would have been able to.
Our records show that you have only worked through the theory modules and the online theory exam. You still have the case study and practical assessment to go, so there is still a huge amount of learning ahead of you with the course. The 18 theory modules are there to help prepare you for the case study and not the theory exam. The course re-cap module is there are exam preparation.
A member of our team will be in contact with you directly to talk through your review and concerns to see if we can resolve this for you.

I wanted to pursue a career in S&C until I signed up to this website. Paying £1000 for this service I thought when completing there would be jobs wanting someone like me. I have yet to complete this course as researching S&C jobs they all want degrees and/or masters. This course does nothing but take your money and give you false promises like "their will be loads of jobs available with this course". The cheek of this company also when I called to discuss my issues they didn't answer the phone even though their lines are open 9am-5pm and I called at 3pm and they tried to say you missed the open lines times.

Dear Yashar, we are sorry to read your review and to hear that you have been unhappy with your experience with us. We can see that you have contacted our customer service team previously and that we have responded to your concerns, but we are sorry that you are still unhappy.
We just wanted to reinforce that you absolutely do not have to have a degree or masters to be able to have a career in Strength & Conditioning, we are sorry that you have been led to believe this, but this isn’t the case.
With regard to our phone lines, these are open from 9 – 5 Monday – Friday. If we are ever unable to take a call, if a voicemail is left for us our team will always call back at the first opportunity. Having looked at our records, we can see that you have also emailed us several times and your emails have always been responded to within 2 working days.
We pride ourselves on the quality of education that we deliver and also the level of service that we provide, and this is demonstrated within the regular excellent reviews that our students and graduates leave us, however it is always really disappointing to us to hear when someone has not had the experience that they were hoping for.
We have therefore passed your review onto our Head of Student Experience who will be in contact with you directly to discuss your concerns further.

I really enjoyed the training supplied by Strength and Conditioning education - the modules were easy to follow and full of information that could be applied straight away. I’d especially encourage anyone looking to do their level 4 to chose the option of the practical workshop weekend. This was a great session that really helped to bring the course to life and Ryan was a fantastic tutor!

This was a a great course and a a useful addition to my coaching qualifications. The course online was easy to follow and customer service were there when needed. The practical days are well worth doing also, just to meet like minded people and get knowledge from the tutors.

I really enjoyed the Level 4 Strength…
I really enjoyed the Level 4 Strength and Conditioning course. It was not easy! Having the availability to work through all the modules in my own time made learning and scheduling training practice with my athletes manageable.
I had a great day at the refresher and assessment day at Brunel University. It gave me a chance to meet others, watch, learn, and practice with a coach myself.
Receiving in-person feedback was a must. I had to be referred for a module and received excellent help from Chris Duncan my Student Support Tutor, allowing me to develop more and then pass the course.
I am so excited to be continuing my learning and coaching journey with SCE and the course is a great addition to my current business as an Endurance Running Coach

Before I forget I just want to mention how awesome Chris Duncan / Tutor support was, through-out the course.
At times I felt overwhelmed with all the new knowledge and content, but Chris was always prompt with his support and assured me that I’m going in the right direction thank you again Chris.

I have recently completed the online level 4 S&C course. The course content was at a high standard with all the information you would need to complete course, if you are met with any queries you can simple email any questions to an educator and they will respond swiftly. Thoroughly recommend the L4 course!
I’ve really enjoyed the level 4 strength & conditioning course. It’s given me a great platform and understanding now to take into my coaching.
Having the ability to work through the course in my own time was really helpful for me around my schedule.
I really felt I benefited from the in-person workshop weekend at Brunel Uni where I was able to put the theory into practice and also picked up loads of useful tips.
Finally I received really useful feedback upon completion of my coursework and video assessment which I will now use to improve further.

Great course fantastic experience
This is my second review as promised now I have completed the course
From enrolment to completion every aspect of the course was engaging and easy to access along with excellent communication from support staff when needed
As a completely blind person I can definitely say that strength and conditioning education meets accessibility standards that most educational institutions can't match
This all comes down to the ability to communicate, adapt and overcome issues or potential barriers which you guys did perfectly and I can't thank you enough for this experience
Would recommend this course to anyone with a disability and anyone who just wants a good and engaging experience in general

Strength and Conditioning Education
A great course!
This is a great course for gaining knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of strength and conditioning, periodisation and gaining the skills required to be a good coach. I’ve found the course to improve my knowledge a lot more than I thought and it has changed my personal approach to sports. If I’m to be pedantic, there could be transcripts to accompany a lot of the videos or even just subtitles as I have hearing loss and found this difficult in places due to being very dialogue heavy. However, I asked for this and they said they are working on delivering this in the future so that’s something. The course is also set up for assignments to be completed through Microsoft office so a little more awkward for Mac users but no dealbreaker as you can find converters on the internet and convert your work easily enough.
The feedback I received at the end is constructive and easy to action due to having lifetime access to the course content which will help to improve my coaching skills. The smaller bolt on courses are worth the money also to hone in on particular areas of interest. Overall, it has given me a lot more confidence to launch my business and start coaching athletes, knowing I can deliver a high quality service!
