FLAWLESS, FRIENDLY, CONVENIENT & BEAUTIFUL

My stay with Suite Home was flawless from check-in to check-out! The apartment (505 N. State) had everything needed to make it a "home away from home" even things I would never think about needing like a Brita filter! With COVID causing us to be nomadic, it was the perfect place to be for a month. It provided a place to live, work and workout--and the view made it all even better! It was close to grocery stores, public transportation and even shared amenities with a hotel (gym and indoor pool). I think my dogs enjoyed it as much as me!

Thanks Suite Home for your amazing customer service! I will definitely recommend your services to any one looking for extended stays.

Suite Home is the best option in the…

Suite Home is the best option in the city for furnished corporate housing - the unit was impeccably clean, and our family felt safe the entire time with the disinfected remotes and protocols. The staff was very friendly, and extremely easy to work with as well. I would highly recommend any one to stay with Suite Home Chicago if you're looking for accommodations in the Chicago-land area. Much nicer than a hotel, and their building locations are amazing!

Best quality and great to work with

Suite Home has such high quality furnished units and is so easy to work with! With COVID going on, I needed some extra space to work and get some quiet time to myself. Suite Home had a unit ready to go in my building! Now I can just “commute” to another floor and have a ready-to-go clean and quiet workspace. I’m also a real estate agent and whenever I have a client looking for a high quality short or long term furnished unit, or consultants looking for part time corporate relocation, I always tell them to try Suite Home because they really are the best in the business!

For me to land in a strange city during…

For me to land in a strange city during Covid with my husband in the hospital, I was grateful I was referred to Suite Home's team here in Chicago. They made our four month stay with their exceptional care and courteous professionalism a most positive experience. They found the best location and apartment for what met my husband's and my needs. They also made sure everything was in working order, and they quickly replied to any questions I had. When we come back in the spring for my husband's follow-up series of physical therapy, we plan to work with them again. I trust them.

Highly Recommend

Suite Home was excellent from start to finish. My husband and I needed a temporary, furnished apartment while we waited to close on a new house. We reached out to Suite Home to help and they certainly delivered. The apartment is comfortable, in a great location and all members of the team are kind, responsive and provide excellent customer service. Suite Home listened to us and then went above and beyond to ensure our budget and needs were met. I highly recommend Suite Home for any company or person in need of temporary housing!

Positive Experience 5/5

As the Travel Coordinator for my company, I work with SuiteHome quite a bit and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. They have been so accommodating from the booking process, apartment searches, customer service, checkout, and everything in between. I was given the opportunity to stay at one of their locations and it was beautifully furnished with all the items I would need to get me started (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, paper towels, dish washing, pots/pans etc)- having such a positive experience gives me great reassurance that I am putting my employees in the right hands.

Don’t know where to start.. LOVED IT

Don’t know where to start. The location is amazing, you are literally walking distance away to EVERYTHING. The building is clean with complete COVID precautions, apartment was spotless and fully equipped, the staff are so friendly, endless amenities, amazing city view. I am from LA but if I ever were to move to Chicago I would settle for nothing less than Marquee and suite home.

I enjoyed my stay

I enjoyed my stay. The apartment had everything i needed> The only snag was that the couch and bed were kinda old and should ideally be replaced after a while. Apart from that, it was a lovely stay.

Great Location but Customer Service Not the Best

The location of my stay was great, as well as the onsite staff affiliated with the actual building. I didn't have many interactions with the Suite Home team however if there were 6, 4 of them was unsatisfactory. For example, when I moved in, no one told me that I needed to request the use of the freight elevator 24 hours in advance. You'd think the staff would just do it since obviously you're moving in... nope. I hurt my back dragging my belongings back and forth from the garage. Oh yeah, there aren't any large carts either. I moved in during COVID-19 and cleaning service was canceled. Perhaps they will provide cleaning supplies? Again, nope. I was told to purchase my own. Moving out, I called a few times to request the use of the freight. Followed up the day of move and it hadn't been requested. So I moved out just as I moved in, struggling!!! Great accommodations but the service is not the best.

Update: Seeing Suite Home's response, I updated my review to reflect 2 (not 1) out of 6 interactions were great. If housekeeping is canceled, it might be a good idea to provide cleaning supplies. Just an idea. Bottom line, as a client, I did not feel as if resources were always available and attention paid. This shouldn't come as a surprise, as I expressed these thoughts to staff in one of my last emails to them.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed the property but disappointed that our service let you down. We had several (what we thought were) positive communications with you throughout your stay. When you put a work order in for the shower, it was scheduled within the hour. When you requested the details of the paint color in the apartment, we happily sent it to you to share with your construction crew. When you asked us if your reservation for the loading dock was approved, we informed you that we had not previously received a reservation request, called the building to see what they could do, but they were fully booked. Housekeeping services were not included at the time your reservation was booked, which is why you didn't receive them.

It is not typical that our guests need to use a loading dock and freight elevator, as they are moving into a furnished apartment. Therefore, we don't reserve the elevator unless requested by the guest. In this situation, by the time we knew you needed to use the elevator, it was already booked by other residents moving into the building and it was out of our control.

We appreciate the feedback and will use these insights to further try to improve our processes and service.

Overall great experience

Overall great experience. Apartment was in a great shape. The only downside is a lack of possibility to reserve a parking space in the building. As a result significant additional expense in you use a car.

Home away from home

We have been in the location for almost 2 weeks now and couldn't be happier with the accommodations. The staff is incredibly helpful and courteous at all times. We find the building lovely and our individual unit just perfect for what our needs are. Location is really great for grocery shopping, restaurants and getting to all areas of the city. I feel like I'm on a mini vacation and am really enjoying our stay here. I have highly recommended your services to several who may be interested for long-term stays. Thank you

Steve at Element of Verdian

The Element of Verdian was an excellent residence. However, each time I needed something, I was directed to make inquiry with Suite Home....and each time I made a request, it was denied. I requested a parking spot as my monthly costs were significant and inside parking was nearly empty....denied. I want more dishes as I had setting only for 4, not frying pans .... denied. I want more dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels and TP as I had enough only for 1 use .... denied. My stay was brief (30 days) as I was not sure of the Suite Home experience might be.... I wanted to test the agreement prior to a longer commitment. I changed locations. The Suite home staff was friendly.....but policies were not flexible and price was excessive for what I received in return.

We are surprised to hear that you were displeased with our service. Before you signed your lease, we explained the way parking works at Element at Veridian. The parking garage is reserved for those who book full year leases. For temporary housing, there is a complimentary lot with open parking. This is the building's policy.

When you requested more dishes, we happily replied to your email offering to drop off more dishes and cookware, and we never heard back from you. We are not allowed to enter your apartment without your permission, so we could not drop these off.

We like to provide each apartment with a starter kit of toiletries and paper products, so that way the guest doesn't have to worry about this upon arrival. We replied to your email, explaining this, and offered to leave extra as a courtesy. Since we didn't hear back from you with permission to enter, we couldn't drop off the supplies.

Guest satisfaction is our top priority and we are sorry we didn't have the opportunity to fulfill your requests.

accessibility

service during the booking process was excellent
apartment was not at all as advertised as far as accessibility. not one grab bar in entire apartment and bathroom was extremely dangerous.
checkout was totally stressful and again, not at all as originally claimed.

We showed you the virtual tour and sent a photo of the bathroom before you booked so you could see exactly how the apartment was set up and that there were no grab bars. You asked us about having them installed and we told you what that would entail, and you declined. It is important to us to be completely transparent with our guests throughout their entire experience with Suite Home.

We relocated to Chicago in April 2018…

We relocated to Chicago in April 2018 and just recently moved back to Australia after 2.5 years. For the entire time in the USA we lived in an Sweet Home apartment in Wicker Park. The Sweet home team were fantastic from start to finish, we would definitely recommend them.

I loved my stay at Suite Home Chicago…

I loved my stay at Suite Home Chicago at State and Grand. The furnishing was fantastic and the location was top tier. The best part is definitely the staff. They are very knowledgeable and understanding and I never hesitated to reach out to them with questions. The room service is also fantastic. It truly felt like home, and I will miss it.
