Quickie brand? not top of line just expensive and breaks often.

I bought a quickie 300 M less than a year ago. A € 10,000. chair which has had problems all along. First problem within a couple of days a motor exploded and left me with a chair in the elevated position. Now there is another problem with a big noise that they don’t know what it is and they’re telling me they have to send it out of town and it would take between nine and 10 days. My question is, how can they take so long when the wheelchair is essential for the life of a person that means I have to stay at home and cancel my life for up to 10 days. That is significant. I find that the product is not worth the money if it breaks so often even before one year and then then it takes so long to fix. The manufacture and the representative are not empathetic nor do enough for the customer. They share is not what it’s advertise as being. It is not a premium share if it brings so often I am very upset.

Dr. Girish Mehta-sleep medicine

I have been seeing Dr. Girish Mehta for a few years now. He has never had much of a personality let alone a bedside manner. He never even really seemed to care that I had sleep issues, he would just prescribe me sleeping pills. Write me a prescription and send me out the door. I’m supposed to only have to have an in office visit every six months but he made me come in after three this last time. He had mentioned something about someone giving him a hard time with my prescription but I couldn’t really understand what he meant. He said he would call in my 90 day supply to my pharmacy. A few days later I get my script and it only had 15 pills. I called and let them know that they had shorted my pills by 75. He said he had called in 90. About a week or so later I get another script for just 15 pills. Again I called Dr. Mehta and gave him an 800 number to call and talk to them. Another week goes by and I receive another 15 pills. I called his office yet again and let them know I continue to be shorted 75 pills. The girl from his office calls me back the next day and tells me that he doesn’t want to see me ever again. I ask why and she says I don’t have an answer. This doctor cut me off from being a patient with no referral, no more medication and no explanation. This is a terrible way to deal with a patient who needs medication to sleep, especially since I have chronic pain and my only peace is being unconscious. This doctor does not deserve any stars and I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone

I purchase a Breezy 2000 w/c for my…

I purchase a Breezy 2000 w/c for my father in law 11 months ago. The foot pedal keeps falling down. I found out that a small plastic piece was broken which provided the friction for the plate. Customer service kept telling me to go to dealer, which I did prior to calling them. They then said there is no part and I would have to buy a complete leg rest. Buy from these guys if you like zero support!

Quickie Power Wheel Chair QM-710, has been a failure!

I have owned a Quickie Power Wheel Chair QM-710 for about 6 years now. It has been 6 years of issues and problems from almost the very beginning.

Major problems have included having to replace almost all of the electronics, and right now the "cheap white metal" sub frame has broke and has to be replaced.

This has meant having to go without important functions until the chair can be repaired for extended periods of time. There have also been a number of lesser problems and failures along the way. And while not major, have been no less troublesome. In fact, some repairs have already occurred more than once because of poor design and or materials breaking again.

There are important design failures such as seating position, and seating position in coordination with leg position. "Quickie" didn't even get the arm and head rests right. How in the world did they get those things wrong!

Does Sunrise - Quickie know that certain chair functions work antagonistically towards each other?
Which is my guess as part of the reason why the sub frame has now broke. That, and the use of cheap white metal used for parts that are exposed to significant pressures and stress in regular use.

The main drive motor is about the only thing that has been dependable. A small turning radius has also been a plus.

Overall, I would describe this chair as being poorly designed "not" with the chair's user in mind! I really have to question whether "Quickie" ever took into account the difficulties a handicap person has to deal with on a daily basis, nor what it might be like when the chair a handicap person depends on fails.

All this on top of the fact that getting service has been a nightmare at times and is very expensive.
I strongly do not recommend!

Achat fauteuil roulant manuel

Par l'intermédiaire de "mon fauteuil roulant" j'ai acheté un fauteuil roulant manuel Sunrise QUICKIE Argon 2 le 3 juin 2024.
N'ayant pas de nouvelles j'ai appelé plusieurs fois l'intermédiaire et Sunrise. De reports en reports, aujourd'hui, le 9 septembre 2024,je n'ai toujours pas reçu ce fauteuil, mais il serait parti.
Il a fallu 1 mois à SUNRISE pour passer de leur service commercial à leur production. On croît rêver.
Ensuite plus de 2 mois pour le fabriquer, inquiétant.
(Problèmes intrinsèques...Disent ils.) Mais "tout sera mis en œuvre pour satisfaire le client"
on n'achète pas un fauteuil roulant pour le plaisir mais par nécessité.
À ÉVITER , il existe des fabricants plus sérieux. Allemands ou autres.
