These guys lie so much. They ruined mother's day for the family. They ignore emails if they don't want to respond. They promise delivery within 3-5 days from INDIA.... I initially thought they had a UK warehouse, which was my bad. Only when my delivery didn't arrive for another two weeks, I then realised it was being shipped from India. I'm also still missing one item, which they have no refunded me for. It's a terrible set up, with not enough employees.

I would have given no star if there was an option. Order was placed on 6th April, standard shipping was 6-8 business days. Today 9 days have passed and status is unknown. On Shop app it shows waiting for details. The number given on their web site seems to be disconnected. Send 3 mails to so called customer service with no luck. Disputing the transaction with my bank. Avoid very unreliable company close to scam.

I received the pan I ordered but handle was broken. I immediately emailed with photos but despite multiple emails, no response. The mobile number on their website does not exist.
Please avoid. They are not a registered company in the UK, certainly not at their current Manchester address anyway. I am trying to report them as fraudulent through citizens advice bureau. I recommend others do the same if similar experience.

Extremely poor service, delivery dates not adhered to and non existent customer service. I paid £8 for delivery and yet to receive the product!

I purchased the Stahl Artisan Hybrid Triply Dosa Tawa (Induction Base, Non-Stick Pan) from Swadesi.co.uk on 19th February, and my entire experience has been extremely disappointing and frustrating.
With the very first use, the pan developed stubborn burnt marks that refused to come off, no matter how carefully I cleaned it. For an expensive product advertised as high quality, this is completely unacceptable. To make things worse, the packaging did not include any instruction manual or care guidelines — highly unprofessional for a brand selling kitchenware at this price point.
After noticing the damage, I immediately contacted Swadesi.co.uk’s customer support, shared multiple images of the defects, and requested either a full refund or a replacement. Despite several follow-ups, I have received no reply at all. To add to the concern, the phone number listed on their website is not reachable, making it practically impossible to speak to anyone from the company.
At this point, I am beginning to suspect that this may be a fraudulent business operating under the guise of an online retailer. Their lack of communication, unresponsive service, and unreachable phone number raise serious doubts about their credibility. I sincerely hope the relevant consumer protection authorities investigate Swadesi.co.uk and take appropriate action.
I strongly urge potential buyers to stay away from this website to avoid losing money on substandard products and experiencing similar frustration.

I ordered L'occitane face cream costing £59.99. I have not received this item to this day.

I would like the advertising platform to charge them from fraud and stealing people's money.

I bought a pressure cooker from this store on March 12th, and today, March 30th, I still haven't received the cooker and they refuse to refund my money. I don't recommend them; don't buy anything here, because they are ripping us off.

My experience with Swadesi UK has been nothing short of a complete and utter shambles. From start to (non) finish, this company has demonstrated a staggering level of incompetence and disregard for its customers.

False Advertising on Delivery: They boldly advertise "48 to 72 hour delivery" from the moment you order. This is a blatant lie. My order has taken weeks with no end in sight. The promised timeframe is a fantasy used to lure you in.

Zero Communication & Zero Customer Service: After taking your money, they fall into a black hole of silence. There are no proactive updates. When you desperately reach out for help, you are met with radio silence. Their customer service is non-existent. "Absolutely zero" is an understatement—it simply does not function.

Stock Issues & No Accountability: Eventually, after repeated attempts, you might get a generic response blaming "stock issues." Why was the item listed for sale and my order accepted if it wasn't in stock? There is no apology, no timely notification and no option but to wait indefinitely on their whim.

Empty Promises & Broken Dates: If you do manage to get a response, they might throw another arbitrary delivery date at you. This date will come and go without fulfillment, proving it to be just another in a series of lies.

I am still waiting for my order, feeling completely cheated. The complete lack of professionalism, communication and basic business ethics is astounding. This company operates like a scam, taking money for orders they cannot or will not fulfill in a reasonable, honest manner.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. Save your money, your time, and your sanity. There are plenty of reputable retailers out there. Swadesi UK is not one of them.

This by far the WORST mail-order company I have ever dealt with. I am only giving them One Star because the TrustPilot system does not allow a Zero Star scoring option. Swadesi is truly AWFUL. Their advertised Delivery Period window is utter nonsense – totally misleading and deceptive; my item was supposed to take 3 to 5 days and it eventually took almost two weeks. They never responded with information voluntarily -- they had to be pushed and pushed and pushed to get any response. The worst aspect is that they advertise a so-called Customer Service contact telephone number on their website and it DOESN’T WORK !! What is even worse is that they KNOW it doesn’t work and yet they deliberately do NOTHING to fix the problem. If you complain, then they don’t respond with any meaningful assistance and, on the contrary, just send you some drivelling nonsense that doesn’t properly address the complaints you may have raised. In my opinion, you would be absolutely mad to order anything from these people and, if you do, then you can’t say that you have not been warned. They also use the crappiest and most useless courier service (EVRi) to deliver their products, which merely compounds the problem, as it is impossible to communicate effectively with EVRi, either ! Overall, a very, very, very poor ‘service’; for sure, I shall NEVER order anything from Swadesi again.

Total scam site. Ordered an item over a week ago and paid nearly £20 for express delivery but haven't even had confirmation of dispatch. Despite attempts to contact them, I've had no reply. Only reason I've given them one star is there's no other way of writing a review.

I place order on the 25th September. The order was sent to Evri but didn't arrived. I tried to contact Swadesi to check with Evri where is the parcel buy nobody answered the phone which is given as a contact. This is my first and will be the last order. Don't waste your time and money ordering from this shop. Because they don't have any customers service regardless having the telephone number as a contact

I placed an order which could not be fulfilled, and I was told I would receive a refund within a few working days. The refund did not arrive as promised, so I had to escalate the issue through my payment provider before it was resolved.

The refund was eventually processed, but the experience was slower and more cumbersome than expected.
