I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with SwipeMetal was an absolute disaster from start to finish.
First off, their turnaround time is an absolute joke. It took almost a month just to get my card produced and shipped. When you pay a premium for a custom metal card, you expect professional service.
When the package finally arrived, the quality control proved to be nonexistent:
I opened the box to find completely the wrong finish. Not even slightly off-shade, just flat out the wrong color entirely.
The back of the card was completely empty. No account info, no numbers, zero laser etching, just a blank sheet of metal. It's essentially useless… The front is arguably worse. The contactless NFC logo is horribly misaligned and printed so poorly that the card looks like a laughably cheap knockoff. It looks completely fake, and I'd be embarrassed to pull this out at a checkout counter.
Waiting a month for an overpriced card that looks like a counterfeit reject and arrived unfinished is unacceptable. Save your money, your time, and the headache, avoid SwipeMetal at all costs. I will be reordering a normal card from my bank, which will cost a lot of money energy and time

Placed order on 2nd September, received it 19th October. Biggest delay was due to RoyalMail taking like ~3 weeks to deliver my original card, so not swipemetals fault... Actual production took roughly 10 days. Customer service was mostly responsive, altho I never received a 2nd response on my inquiry for customs declaration value, so I ended up paying a bit more for import customs than what was really necessary. So one star off from that. Another star off from not so precise chip placement, it's bulging out of the socket slightly... I would attach a picture if I could. The chip works, but time will tell how long :-))

Other than these minor issues I'm happy with the order, the engraving quality and the overall look of the card is magnificent.

I recently ordered 30 metal business cards with QR codes, plus an NFC card, and I’m genuinely impressed with them.

The quality and finish are even better than I expected, and the cards feel really premium while still being lightweight. The QR and NFC features work perfectly and make networking so much easier.

A special shout-out to Karen, who was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. She was responsive, answered all my questions and really understood the vision I had for the cards, helping make the final result even better than expected.

Absolutely amazing. I have not worked with a company so personal so fast with this level of quality. I needed an urgent urgently for a meeting, and it was done in a day. Where I had issues with my own graphics, the design team recreated it exactly how I wanted it to be. Emails were responded to almost instant instantaneously. Absolutely amazing.

Ordered a swipe metal credit card back in 2025 , still haven’t received it. Was told it’s coming on multiple occasions to no avail. Do not buy off these people

They fit every requirement specified and made sure to send samples to confirm

This was my first time using this company my original design was not in stock so was able to get a suitable replacement once done the card was sent back quickly was in communication with the company via emai and was happy with my expirience

Throughout the process, the team kept me updated which offered peace of mind. Any questions were answered quickly. Once my card was collected, creating and shipping the new one took just a couple of days. The product and service were both great.

I will admit. I was scared sending my bank card. However they is nothing to worry about. Swipe Metal informed me when they received my bank card and sent me a tracking number when the card was ready.

At the end of the process. I got a lovely custom made bank card with the design I wanted. Plus it comes in a lovely box too.

Overall. Fantastic experience working with Swipe Metal. I would 100% recommend this company l.

This is the 1st time using this company and I must say the service was amazing and the process from start to finish was very easy and secure. I sent them my card on the Monday and the following Monday I was using it but with the admiring glances from the people I came into contact with regarding the nice look of the Metal card . So once again I would highly recommend this service.
