This rating has nothing to do with the…

This rating has nothing to do with the sales staff at the Barrie location. Jesse was amazing and truly helpful as was Alison. However the refrigerator we bought arrived with dents and the freezer drawer rubbed on the upper doors causing scratches every time we opened and closed the drawer.This was not the case in the showroom when we viewed and purchased the unit. We were offered a choice of new door or $200 and we chose the door. Upon installation the water connection was leaking from within the fridge and a service call was arranged from the existing warranty. The serviceman arrived 12 days later and took pictures and said someone would be in touch. I called a week later and they said the fridge was unrepairable. So back to Barrie to choose another refrigerator. We are annoyed at having to pay for delivery as the initial refrigerator was damaged in transit from Barrie to us. Also so consumers are aware when you purchase a warranty you have to return to the same company you purchased the original appliance from you cannot use your warranty dollars elsewhere. I did place a previous review regarding this issue and was surprised to receive a call from Jason asking me to alter my review which I did delete as I misquoted the delivery fee. So much for anonymous reviews.

Great Experience

Keely was our sales person, very efficient, pleasant and helpful. She provided us with an alternative freezer that was a better deal.
When we picked up the freezer at the warehouse, the man was super nice, jovial and appeared to be happy at his workplace. Nice to see in this day and age.

We had difficulty with unit upon…delivery

We had difficulty with unit upon delivery. 20mins into the first DISH wash cycle, the machine blew a F69code and we waited...three weeks to have the unit replaced by TA appliance. Getting in-touch (with a real person) was a nightmare - getting a resolution was emotionally taxing. The Service department voicemail system was horrible to navigate. Our sales rep however did come through for us in the end (but after a few heated conversations for which I apologized for) we did receive a replacement machine quickly after the decision was made by TA to replace the unit - however that wait time was three weeks.

We are very grateful to our sales rep, Michael Potter for his commitment to stay with us until the end. He was knowledgable and did his best to help us find a resolution.

The tragedy was the road we had to go down to get a new unit delivered. very disappointing. Michael did his best within his guidelines ....but to have a unit delivered - to work for 20 mins, and then for us to wait three weeks for it to be replaced...was disappointing.

thank you to the powers that be....who finally granted us a replacement unit (as I believe they don't typically do this) - it was the right thing to do under the circumstances.

1. recommendation - replace your automated voice answering service with a real person - I waited on multiple calls / too long and too many times .....only to be disconnected or told to leave a message and "someone would call me back - good customer service provides a person to person contact - never under estimate how important this is - when a customer is not happy and needs to speak with another "human" and not a machine. thank you for taking these remarks and recommendations - and hopefully the next customer will have a smoother seamless experience

Dissatisfied with post sale service

The followup after the sale of the items was very disappointing. The sales person who was supposed to get back to me the next day to confirm delivery never did. I tried calling for 2 weeks but there was no call back from him. There were items that could not be found for 4 weeks. Eventually we had to settled on a replacement appliance.

Sam was and is very attentive and great…

Sam was and is very attentive and great at corresponding back and forth with us. We have not received our appliances yet as the reno is still in production. Sam was very knowledgeable and really knows his stuff. We would definitly go back to him when we need other appliances.

Horrible company and experience…

Horrible company and experience purchasing washer and dryer from there.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Not creditable and it was such a stress dealing with customer service.
Kevin Beck was not helpful - no one offered any help.
If you buy machines from them and these were Maytag machines - they kept sending ppl to fix brand new machines. First they say when buying it’s a great machine. Then when it breaks down the first week we get it “well,
It’s a machine.” Like what???
Honestly going back and forth with them and then being directed to the actual manufacturer - having to again to chase to get it replaced.
Pure nightmare!!! Will never recommend this store. It was the Brantford Location - but I’m sure all the stores have the same type of no standards.

Nightmare Experience

Terrible communication. We spent hours on the phone trying to get in contact with customer service. Had to wait for a repair person to come look at it. Had to wait another week for a part to come in. No apologies. No acknowledging the problem. I went without a dishwasher for 3 weeks. The whole point of purchasing from you was to have a working appliance that night. The entire experience was a nightmare. I still haven’t heard back from anyone regarding my upset email I sent 3 days ago.

Fidge showed up doors are crooked

Fidge showed up doors are crooked. Delivery truck blew a hydraulic hose in front of my driveway. They did not have a spill kit on the truck. Had to go get some kitty litter to absorb the oil up.

Dealing with TA for 20+ years

Over the last 20 years or so, we have been purchasing appliances from TA. Their staff are very knowledgeable and have helped us make the right choices on models with fair and competitive pricing. We needed some BBQ parts for a 10 year old Broil King BBQ that we previously purchased at TA. Again we found TA staff excellent in quickly getting us the right genuine broil king parts instead of foreign knockoffs.. Very happy with TA appliance for both initial appliance purchases and genuine parts supplies when needed...

There was a mixup with delivery date

There was a mixup with delivery date.
I requested some compensation but received none.
Why do you not sell propane to natural gas kits.
During my sale the gentleman was busy with answering the door. Not enough staff.
Not sure of the date.
