Tax Hardship Center took my payment and…
Tax Hardship Center took my payment and did not provide the services that they promised. Since I first contacted the company in March 2026, I paid the large amount of money that I did not have so that they would help me with my IRS and state tax debt as of October 2026 they have provided me with nothing I wrote to them in September 2026 informing them that they had not fulfilled their obligation and requesting a refund when I first contacted this company. I was told that if I was unsatisfied, I could request a refund despite multiple phone calls and emails I have received no response. My credit card company was unable to assist me in disputing the charge due to the charge being over 180 days. I did inquire about being able to get a refund and I was told that I would be able to charge back my credit card. I feel like as a disabled retired elderly person I was taken advantage of when I was most vulnerable. I do not recommend this company. They do not communicate with you and 10 months after initially contacting this company, I still have outstanding tax debts which they were supposed to assist me in resolving. DO NOT use Tax Hardship Center! Contact Tax Attorney that will at least bill you by the hour and you don’t pay them until they produce a result.

After that she was really good at pursuing a good outcome. Once the amended return was submitted, things went well. The IRS was the one that was taking eons to review the amended return. They finally did and my IRS debt went to Zero

Bad communication.
The job they were hired to do got done. Way too many blue sky predictions, bad communication, and outright lies to get better than a 3 star rating. The salesman promised 6 months to a year for the process. It took 2 years. He flat stopped calling me back after a couple calls asking for updates. I was then passed to an office girl for over a year. The updates were seldom if ever offered, and only after I would call or email would she respond after a few days. I hardly EVER got an update from this company. I paid in monthly payments as was offered to me and I saw zero progress until after my balance was paid off. I was given lots of lies about the delays. I do not recommend this company.
