Hi, thanks for dealing with delay
Hi, Thank you ,no complaint about the product. Delivery was very slow, had to check that it had been despatched. That sorted, I am, as with a lot of firms, constantly disappointed in the packaging that is used. A mass of large bubble wrap strips which I have managed to reuse fortunately. Padding made from recyced cardboard turns up frequently which can go to landfill or recycling with no probs. If leakage is a worry tape around the lid of the tin as some do. Please please ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE HAVE A CLIMATE CRISIS AND THAT INCLUDES OCEAN HEALTH.

In terms of the packaging, I appreciate what you are saying here, and your concerns. I am sorry you are disappointed.
Packaging paint and transporting paint is quite restrictive. We tried to use recycled shredded paper to pack out the boxes but this was deemed as a fire hazard so we had to stop that. The cardboard box and tin however are recyclable.
We are always looking to improve our environmental impacts where we can throughout our business, and we are looking for an alternative biodegradable product.

Never found better products
After 20 years the Teamac paint and varnish on my boat needs touching up. If there are better products on the market I'd love to hear about them. I suppose I'll have to do it all again in another 20 years. (I'll be 96 then !)

I'd already bought a litre of the paint from my local chandlers to try it out. Buying larger quantities on line and direct was so easy and so much cheaper. Quick delivery, well packaged...spot on. If it ever stops raining, I can get my boat finished. Looking good so far...excellent paint and easy to apply.

Teamac suregrip deck paint
I have been using Teamac suregrip deck paint for twenty five years. Had to order on line as unable to get at local chandlery. Although have tried other products over the years.Teamac is easy to use after a good stir and covers very well. Very good anti slip properties.

GOOD SERVICE FROM TEAMAC
The first batch arrived with a full litre tin of the paint which caused a problem when mixing the catalyst. I only noticed it when I ordered a second tin with the correct quantities. There was a problem with a white discolouration (probably due to the first faulty mix) after the second black coat. When I reported my problem Teamac provided a third tin free of charge. After 3 coats (plus an initial primer coat) my wrought iron gate looks good for at least 10 years or more.

Re painted my 56ft narrow boat in two…
Re painted my 56ft narrow boat in two different blues. The paint went on easily and after a hard winter so far the only damage is from quite severe scrapes ( gas Bottles etc.) Would use this paint again and I have recommended to other boaters.
