I am so happy to have my phone back working to its best ability. The technician came to us and he was done within an hour. I think it is important to have insurance on your devices because if situations randomly arise you know that your devices are safe and will be repaired or replaced. I just do not take the chance as my devices are not cheap. I prefer to be safe and not sorry!

I found Techpackinsurance to be very efficient.
It was just a matter of filling in an online claim form and within a few days my phone was repaired.
Their repair team arrived at exactly the time they had promised and the repair was carried out at my home.

Good experience with them! I lost my cell phone and in 4 days I got a replacement phone. The excess is a bit high but the delivery and getting the replacement was quick. No phone calls, I just did everything on their website and that was it. Thanks guys! preciate!

The most miserable company – stay away!
I have been a loyal customer for over 10 YEARS, paying my insurance every single month without ever making a claim. This is the FIRST time in more than a decade that I actually needed to use my phone insurance – and what I experienced was shocking.
My phone was stolen in central London. I submitted a claim and uploaded ALL requested documents. Then the nightmare started.
They emailed me saying they do not accept my Apple invoice. Yes – an official invoice issued directly by Apple. What exactly do they expect instead? A fake one?
They also kept asking for more and more documents, including “proof of usage”. Fine – I tried to cooperate fully.
Impossible to contact them by phone.
I called for 4–5 days, multiple times per day. Not once did anyone answer. The excuse? “We have very few operators”. Unacceptable.
I finally called their main number and the lady there said my documents looked fine and she didn’t even understand why the claims department kept rejecting them. She promised to leave a note for them to contact me.
Surprisingly, after 1–2 days they did call me back – only to say they do not accept the proof of usage either.
Yesterday I obtained the correct proof of usage they wanted. I logged in to upload it…
MY CLAIM WAS CLOSED WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION.
No warning. No reason. No option to upload the new document they themselves requested.
I contacted a lawyer, who confirmed that it is not legal to close a claim without giving the customer a fair opportunity to provide corrected documents, especially when previous documents were rejected.
This company is clearly designed to discourage claims, not to help customers.
I have already told my friends about my experience – several of them will cancel their policies immediately, and I will do the same. Other insurance companies replace stolen phones within 1–2 days, with minimal documents. Here you get stress, silence, and closed claims.
Save yourself the headache. Do NOT sign up with

I would like to formally challenge the rejection of my claim.
The insurance policy is held by my partner, with whom I live at the same address. The insured mobile phone has been kept at our shared address and used exclusively by me on a daily basis. Although the SIM card is registered in my sister’s name and at her address, the device itself has never been used or kept at her property.
The claim relates to the insured device and its loss/damage, not to the SIM card or the mobile contract. I would therefore appreciate clarification on the specific policy clause that requires the SIM registration address to match the policyholder’s address in order for a claim to be valid.
Please treat this email as a formal complaint. If the decision remains unchanged, I kindly request a final response letter so I may escalate the matter to the relevant external dispute resolution service.

My insurance claim was rejected on what appears to be a purely procedural technicality rather than the actual facts of the case.
The policy is held by my partner, and we permanently reside at the same address stated on the policy. The insured mobile device has always been kept and used exclusively at this address.
The rejection was based solely on the SIM card being registered at a different address — despite the claim relating to the insured device itself, not the SIM card or the mobile contract.
I have repeatedly requested that the insurer identify the specific policy clause that justifies this requirement. To date, no such clause has been clearly provided.
This raises serious concerns about transparency and consistency in how claims are assessed. Customers should be aware that claims may be declined on technicalities unrelated to the actual use or location of the insured device.

Once registered, the phone was quickly repaired at home. I was given a time when the technician would arrive which was met. He was personable, answered my questions and repaired the device quickly. I was pleased with the result.
