The session was really helpful. Kerry was very balanced in sharing educational aspects as well as helpful firsthand experiences that encouraged me in beginning this journey as a SEND tutor, and truthfully, a Tutor in general. the meeting was well-organised, with clear objectives and a structured agenda. Kerry explained safeguarding concepts clearly and gave practical examples. the pacing was just right for taking in the information.

It was an informative and very useful and welcoming environment on call. I never felt uncomfortable and Kerry, who was leading the Training session I attended, was very polite and showed great confidence and punctuality when teaching and presenting. I felt that the PowerPoint displays that were used were easy to understand and showed only useful and important information, vital to our learning. I would recommend Tempests services and lessons to anyone trying to become more informed and educated on teaching and supporting children and learning about our responsibilities as child practitioners and social workers in all areas involving children! I will be using these free services again to continue to refine and develop my knowledge and understanding about becoming a teacher and how to best support and protect children’s learning, safety and wellbeing!

All three training sessions were relevant and interesting. A Friday morning well spent. There is always something I take away from the training, even though some of it is more a refresher. Very much recommended! It's good to be trained by people who know what they are talking about! Experience is priceless.

I must say that in the past one week, after attending all three sessions, I am better ready for September.

I honestly had cold feet as i wondered about the differences in culture and how it will affect my work in the UK. After these sessions, i have come to see that the only difference is the location. The principles are the same! Thanks to the examples used through the sessions, i am better prepared to work come September.

Kerry led an 'Understanding SEN' free webinar which I took this month.

The presentation was informative, all related to the subject and well paced. She discussed the content well with real life situations drawn on and I will definitely take some of her tips and guidance into my practice.

She also sent additional resources to outline specific SEN needs and learning difficulties which are common in schools and which will prove to be very useful.

Highly recommended and I have booked onto her behaviour management course later this month.

Well known agency in the education sector. Great relationship with my Consultant and even as the temp, I love how they do staff around CPD.

The information was relevant to today’s educational environment. The host kept it to the point and gave relatable scenarios. She answered attendees questions and signposted them to other information and offered 1:1 support.

It was very useful & great opportunity to learn to be aware of children needs are met with good support & understanding.

I found it interesting as it was broken down into useful chunks and it was a zoom session. Eventhough it was a general session it was very specific of the things we need to look out for as agency staff.
I found it much better than the normal online sessions.
