Appalling outfit, avoid like the plague ☹️☹️☹️
Called this morning to view and test drive a car and even though I explained to the female on the phone she didn’t advise bringing my license. I arrived and had to go home to fetch it and returned later. I gave them my old style license and they asked for my mobile number and as I’d already been twice I asked if I could not bother going through this and didn’t want calls after trying to sell me other cars after. They then said they couldn’t do it without a phone number. I asked if someone goes with you on the test drive and they said yes but this wasn’t good enough. By this time I’m really fed up and felt like a criminal. I would’nt buy a car from this outfit even if it was the last car dealers on the planet.

We understand that asking for a valid driver’s license and a phone number, both required by law and our insurance, was an unexpected and unbearable burden. We regret that our efforts to ensure the safety of our staff and other drivers made you feel like a criminal, which, of course, was never our intention.
We also apologize that our request for basic information and your time spent driving to fetch your license, which you apparently didn't think was necessary to test drive a car, added to your dissatisfaction. We strive to ensure all our customers are treated fairly, even if it means asking for a phone number so we can contact you during the process.
Rest assured, we’ll take this feedback to heart and look into how we can simplify things in the future, perhaps by hiring a psychic to foresee when licenses aren't needed, or training staff to avoid any steps that might irritate customers who are "really fed up" with safety and standard business practices.

I bought a car from Top Gear, and it was the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. The team was incredibly professional and welcoming. Haseeb, my salesperson, was attentive and made sure all my questions were answered. He worked with me to find a car that fit my budget without any pressure or upselling. I appreciated the transparency in their pricing and financing options. The car was in pristine condition, and they even threw in a complimentary detailing service. Dis honest garage
When I first arrived jaffer was my best friend very helpful picked a 19 plate Toyota prius went through the finance process all good ..was asked to pay a £200 holding deposit which they said was refundable paid the deposit and went home the next morning I decided not to go a head with the deal so msged jaffer and told him and asked if they could refund my deposit please..deposits are non refundable silence after that
Be very aware of this garage I will not recommend them to anyone

The deposit in this case is non-refundable, as it signifies a commitment to the transaction.
In your case, since you had the opportunity to view the 19 plate Toyota Prius and agreed to proceed with the finance process, the deposit was collected under the understanding that it was part of a binding purchase agreement.

Lucky to even get one star! THEY SOLD ME A HIGHLY FLAMMABLE CAR I HAVE A CHILD!!!! After contacting them and rejecting the car they sold my car I traded in!!! They hang up when you phone they lie and say they are in meetings!! Do not purchase cars from here awful people!!!! Dangerous company!

Do not give a deposit! Or any of their money. They will make a million excuses not to give your deposit back, until you threaten to take them to court! Lots of fake positive reviews, don’t believe them they are not all verified My experience was awful, so many issues with the car that I was not told about, and awful customer service too. The place is very dodgy.

This company is an absolute disgrace and should not be trading, they are a set of cowboys.I bought a van from them, it was high mileage but looked nice apart from the 4 nearly bald tyres, they did knock me £270 of for the tyres, on the way home I tried to clean the screen but there was no fluid in the washers and also one of the wiper blades flew off, a little later the ad-blue warning came on then after about 60 miles the engine overheated, a few days later the engine started to mis-fire so I contacted them and told them I wanted a full refund as the goods were not fit for purpose and there was only 2 days left on the MOT, nearly 2weeks later the boss of the company rang me and said he wouldn’t refund me and if I didn’t come for the van he would charge me storage he was very rude and aggressive and said I could report them to whoever I wanted and also if I took them to court I still wouldn’t win because they would not pay me anything, I asked if they would buy back the van but they said no so I went for the van the day after and took it straight to we buy any car and lost £4000, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS SET OF UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE

I paid 13.000 for an amazing bmw 520d gt. I was so hyped about my new car.
From the very start disaster. Pety penny pinching over delivery. Finally at 10pm the car arrived. Instantly I was gutted to discover fresh paint damage that still had polish residue where a poor attempt at repair had been made.
I initially refused the vehicle. Until the next day when the owner of the dealership guaranteed my any issues would be rectified. I now have a 13.000 bmw that is undriveable. Steering issues spring issues restraint issues tyre sensor issues trim damage and or missing.
I have had the vehicle for 6 weeks, 4 of which I have not been able to use it.
I am being avoided and ignored. Even the finance company seem unable to get a response from this company.
Such a shame cowboys like this exists.
My advice steer clear of these people
