Thaely is a vegan, sustainable sneaker company that makes footwear from recycled materials. Thaely is PETA certified vegan and uses about 10 plastic bags and 12 plastic bottles to make each pair of their sneakers. The word "Thaely" is derived from the Hindi word for plastic bags, as the name suggests, Thaely's sneakers are made primarily from plastic bags, this has been achieved by Thaely's very own invention "ThaelyTex" a unique leather replacement made entirely of waste plastic bags. Thaely prides itself with highly ethical production practices and is sustainable down to the packaging. The shoes are packed in a reusable tote bag instead of a dust bag, the shoebox is dyed with coffee grounds and is plantable with embedded basil seeds.

Great shoes and a brilliantly sustainable initiative
This is my first pair of barefoot trail running shoes from Thaely...While I've not been able to take them for a run, the experience in wearing them ,specially for walks has been really good...They're really quite comfortable and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a pair.
What's important is...It's sustainable, helps the planet, is a decent price point and has some lovely colors (Tech Tabi Ruby Red is what I've got and am waiting for the 'Sulfur Yellow' to become available...and it's Made In India!

Split the toe if you make a tabi. also, bad laces.
The yellow tech tech tabi's my first pair of barefoot shoes. I love them, I daily them. The shoe lace has withered in the first month of use.

Possibly scam
Likely a scam. Took my money, no shoes, no refund. For weeks now, everyday I get an email that says they are going to deliver the shoes today. Nothing is ever delivered. I emailed a couple of times asking to cancel and refund, but no response.
