Care Box
I ordered a personalised care box for my wife and was absolutely delighted with it. The quality of the products and the presentation were outstanding. Róisín even emailed me a photo of the finished box before it was sent, which was a lovely touch. It arrived beautifully packaged, and my wife was genuinely impressed with everything inside. I can’t recommend The Elephant in the Room highly enough.

Your thought fullness in putting these products together is just wonderful. My husband is newly diagnosed and being able to pick items to help him hopefully make chemo days a little easier has made me feel like I am helping him along.
Each item we received is lovely. The nausea sweets are individually wrapped. The bath soap is wrapped in a lovely little louver and his cancer mug made him laugh. The delivery time is second to none. I am sure I will be ordering many time through this journey. Thank you so much.

Fast delivery and beautiful products
Ordered on Wednesday evening and it arrived Thursday morning! They sent me an email with a picture attached of the contents of the box and it was absolutely beautiful, so well packaged. Such lovely products and amazing customer service, would highly recommend.

I didn't receive the photo prior to…
I didn't receive the photo prior to delivering as advised and I haven't received any notification that it has been delivered???
After following up I got a very quick response after hours on the reason for the delay, although Anpost had emailed Wednesday advising it would be delivered the next day. I under An post is out of the companies control and I really appreciate there quick response and customer service

I’m very sorry if this wasn’t clear on the website. We provide photographs only for custom-built care packages, as these are created individually to order. Photographs of all of our products, including our pre-curated care packages, are already fully available to view on the website.
As your order was for a pre-curated care package rather than a custom-built one, a photo wouldn’t normally be sent. That said, I completely understand how this could have caused some confusion, and I apologise again if this wasn’t made clear at the time of ordering.
With regard to delivery, I believe we have already connected via text message today. As explained, your order is running one day later than originally expected due to the Bank Holiday in Ireland this week. It’s not unusual for postal delays the week of a bank holiday. I have promised to keep a close eye on its progress, and I will absolutely honour that promise to ensure it arrives within its due timeframe. Our customers are at the heart of what we do & our intention would never be to cause any undue stress or upset.

What a fabulous company this is! I could not be happier with the whole process from start to finish. The products are all beautiful and so thoughtfully curated, and all Irish products too. Even the packaging was top-notch! The communication from Roisin was perfect, she was so helpful and made everything so easy. The person I bought the Chemo Care Package for was absolutely delighted and raved about the quality of all the products. I'm so happy I found the website, sometimes it's hard to know what the right approach is when someone is sick and this gift struck just the right tone.
