Catering for special needs. Some children has sencery issues and plain foods not (rice and pasta) but nuggets no vegetables plan potatoes or cubes no sauces or vegetables. Sausages maybe an option also.

Hi I am a student in a school that uses the lunch bag here is an honest review from someone who is in a school that uses the lunch bag and that has tasted it so recently I moved to a new school in my old school everyone was saying how exciting it sounds unfortunately in my old school they never got got food they had to bring packed lunches teachers told us we were getting the lunch bag everyone said they were SO excited (they never got it because the staff room was to small ) anyways then I moved to a new school they did have the hot food I was excited because everyone was talking about how yummy and exciting it is I liked it my favourite food on the menu is a cheder roll one day I was sitting in class eating my cheder roll and I was saying to the boy behind me that I really liked the hot food aka the lunch bag he looked at me weirdly not touching his food and said well we have had the lunch bag for around 2 years now and when I are eating everything on the same menu for 2 years you just loose your appetite for it and we have had the same food for the past 2 years it gets really boring he said with a sigh still not touching his hot lunch I laughed a bit and said don't u think they would change the menu up a bit he then said no we have had the same food on the same menu for the past 2 years then he said wait till u keep eating the hot food for 2 years and see how boring it gets I sighed and looked around 6 girls and all the boys weren't eating there food nobody liked the lunch bag everyone in my class hated it none of them eat it please please please add more to the menu I came up with a few more things to add to the menu 1: a bagel with ham and cheese in it 2: a croissant with ham and cheese in it 3: chicken stir fry if you want just to let you know the pasta is never cooked properly and people aren't eating because it's boring ads more stuff to the menu once you add more stuff to the menu I will come back with a 5 star review and talk to my old school about the lunch bag other than that please add more stuff to the menu 🙏🏻

The Lunch Bag has been a fantastic addition in our house. Giving the children independence to choose their meal has worked wonders - they actually eat the food they choose!

The range of choice and quality of the food is second to none! The chicken curry is a big hit here.

Lastly, just to give a special mention to the customer service. Any queries I had, were answered promptly, and they were just lovely to deal with.

It gets a big thumbs up from our house 👍

Actually the worst food I've ever tasted and seen

Started off great, quality has dropped considerably. Hard potato's, crunchy pasta. Youngest only like the cottage bake. The older girl only likes the popcorn. They're not fussy eaters and eat lots of healthy, tasty food at home.
Both kids now asking to return to making their own healthy lunch.

My son was such a fussy eater. Since The Lunch Bag arrived he is exploring other foods while eating with his peers in school.
He is asking me to cook a curry the same at home.
Before he never had sauces with any dish. Now he gets veg too as the sauces contain like half veg.
The best thing is I know he's getting good wholesome food.
I see that they use Irish suppliers which quashes any concerns over where the food comes from.

The experience I’ve had with the Lunch Bag has been exceptional.. from food quality to being so user friendly & so inclusive to my child’s allergen and also the customer service is just amazing. The team are all so friendly to deal with.

My son loves their meals and the customer service is very helpful when I’ve asked questions regarding his allergies.

They sent food to a primary school that was 3 days past its use by date. Stanard of food has gotten progressively worse throughout this school year but that was really the icing on the cake. Disgusting. All schools beware

When our kids first got hot meals last year we tried every meal to find which they liked, unfortunately as the year progressed the standard dropped considerably, with the wrong order being presented to our kids quite often. The food looks dreadful and tastes even worse, anything that had any semblance of flavour has since been removed, I would certainly not pay for any of the food provided were it not free.
