The Mixtape played a great mix of everything at our Wedding in Slane, the dance floor was packed from start to finish. During me and my wife's first dance the band called up everyone to join midway which made it really special getting to share the moment with everyone who attended. Extremely pleasant and polite not to mention all cracking musicians. Absolutely class, absolutely 5 stars.

When we got engaged in September 2024, booking our band was top of our priority list once our venue was secured. The Mixtape were top of our wish list and I can still remember how chuffed we were when they confirmed they were available on our date! We opted for the brass section upgrade and DJ add-on and could not recommend it highly enough! Naoise is a pleasure to deal with, always so responsive and willing to accommodate any requests / answer any queries. We flagged songs on their sample set list which we loved ahead of time and it was so clear they had taken this on board when finalising the set list. So many guests remarked on how incredible the music was and how it was very different to the traditional wedding band show! They really captured the vibe of our crowd and the absolutely packed dancefloor spoke for itself! The band were high energy for the entire set and the brass section adds a great sound. The transition to DJ was seamless and the DJ also completely adhered to our “must play” DJ playlist which was really important to us. If the Mixtape are available on your date, don’t hesitate - you will not regret it!

We had The Mix Tape (3-piece band) and DJ play for our wedding, and they were absolutely incredible. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. Both the band and our DJ (Colin) kept everyone on the dance floor all night—the energy was amazing from start to finish.

Their setlist was spot on, and they were so interactive with our guests, which made the whole experience even more fun. The dance floor was never empty! On top of that, they were so easy to work with throughout the entire process—from booking right through to the performance on the night.

We had the best time, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for unforgettable wedding entertainment.

We recently got married and had The Mixtape as our wedding band and we couldnt recommend them more. They were brilliant in the lead up, so responsive to any of our requests or questions. On the night they literally kept the dancefloor full from start to finish. Our guests had nothing but positive feedback for them. We also got the DJ option for after which was so handy to have it all sorted in one, and again kept the dancefloor going until well into the night! We booked The Mixtape as our wedding band and DJ and they were absolutely outstanding. The communication leading up to the big day and during the wedding was excellent. We first saw The Mixtape play at a friend’s wedding, so we already knew we had to book them for our own day and they absolutely did not disappoint.

From the very beginning, they were a pleasure to communicate with in the run-up to the wedding. Everything felt easy, organised and stress-free, which made a huge difference during such a busy time.

On the day itself, the band were amazing. They played our first dance song perfectly, which made that moment really special for us. After that, the set list for the rest of the evening was spot on, our guests were on the dance floor all night.

We booked the full package and we’re so glad we did. The brass players added an extra vibe and energy that really elevated the whole experience, especially when combined with the DJ set.

The DJ was also fantastic. He was happy to take recommendations and did a brilliant job of reading the room, closing the night on a real high.

We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend The Mixtape for any wedding.

The Mixtape will be regarded as one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. We recently got married in September of last year. For us the music was incredibly important and we wanted to book a band that suited our style and not just get the quintessential wedding band playing the same songs as everyone else. Their energy and setlist was amazing and kept everyone on the dancefloor all throughout the night. We went with the full package available and our guests were incredibly complimentary of the band the following day and also thoroughly enjoyed the saxophonist set. Getting the band right for our wedding was a big thing for us to match our energy and we felt it’s a huge part of the day to keep guests entertained and the mixtape were incredible from start to finish. 
From the first planning stages with Naoise everything went so smoothly, Naoise was very accommodating to our needs a to make the night what it was!
The party didn’t stop after the band finished, we were delighted we booked the DJ through the mixtape, he had the dance floor hopping until the early hours the morning. We had the Mixtape play at our wedding in March 2025 and they were an absolute joy. Their performance was excellent, and they were professional and a joy to deal with when booking. The easy option for DJ add on took the stress out of entertainment planning. I highly recommend them for a wedding bed with an alternative rock twist.
