Beware that account maturity date is…

Beware that account maturity date is not the date you think it is.
Whatever your account maturity date is they count this until Midnight that day, you can then only issue instructions to withdraw the following day and then wait at least 1 working day. In my case matured on Thursday 30th April, issued withdrawl on Friday 1st May and wont see my money until Tuesday 5th May at the earliest (because of a bank holiday).

It's 2026, not 1976 - get with the times, every other company can manage to process withdrawals at weekends and on bank holidays.

Great service from Martin and Pam at the Sutton branch while dealing with my request. Always done with efficiency and a smile, all of the staff are the same, it's a great place to do business.

Having a branch in town

Having a branch in town, a contact telephone number for an online problem and best of all dealing with real humans that spoke clearly, were helpful and polite... what more could a customer want :)

Issues to be aware of when using ONLINE accounts.

Issues to be aware of. Once you save money with them online they refuse to let you get all your money out by transferring to your nominated account. I asked via an online message for the accounts to be closed but they later say it must be done by us, however it isn't clear how. Eventually I got a call back, after I called up for help, from a helpful Branch Manager to take me through it. I have sight issues and need things to be clear, so "click on more twice" is not something obvious !!
