the staff in branch was really helpful when I opened my isa account, so much so that I went back a week later and opened another savings account. friendly and relaxed. thankyouh so much.

I had a joint account and I needed to take my name off, they did it without a lot of fuss, unlike the Nationwide.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They made everything so easy.

First attempt to open an account was at a very busy lunch-time with one member of staff at the counter dealing with a detailed response to her customer.
Subsequent visits have not involved long waits.
There was a lack of clarity about what proofs of identity were acceptable and on my final visit, a letter that was not deemed sufficient at an earlier visit was in the end accepted.
The person dealing with my application went beyond appropriate conversation, expressing her views on paedophiles and professionals who work with them.
It took almost 2 weeks from my original visit before my account became operative.

Made to feel very welcome in branch, very helpful staff and best of all able to speak and deal with face to face and not just have to go online. Guided through all we needed to know. Also had the best interest rate compared to our usual bank's of HSBC & Lloyds. Lookinh forward to many years of hapoy saving so long as branches remain open.
