I ordered some Humanscale Diffrient World chair replacement arm pads.

Although the pads arrived in a reasonable timeframe, they don't fit the chair as they advertised they would.

I have tried to arrange for a return but nobody answers their contact number or customer services e-mail. Very disappointed and would recommend that you avoid purchasing through this company.

Delighted with my Office Crowd chair. Excellent range to choose from. Happy to wait the short time for refurbishment for a better chair than I could afford new. The refurbishment is top notch and looks brand new! Added bonus that it arrived fully assembled! Great also that I could order one chair, no minimum order or catering for offices only. I will shortly be ordering a second as the rest of my family have now seen what is possible! Thank you again, very happy.

Really like the idea of buying refurbished rather than new, and impressed with the quality of the product received.

The seat was delivered with a significant delay. The order was placed on 08/07, while the product was not dispatched until 22 May.

In addition, the product was received yesterday in a damaged condition on the back (Insurance Percentage Plan has been included in the order).

An email describing the issue, together with supporting photographs, was sent immediately yesterday to Mrs. C. Bennet and to the customer service (copied). I am currently awaiting their response so that this matter can be resolved.

No one picks up the phone, emails bounced back. No delivery date. Zero communication. Awful

The refurbished chair is excellent. Its like brand new.

It’s a very nice desk perhaps you should give more accurate delivery times though other than that I am very pleased with my purchase

Excellent chair, just as described- this is the second time I have bought from them, and it didn’t disappoint. Delivery is very slow though, and customer service difficult to get hold of, which is the reason for four not five stars. However , once I did manage to get a response from customer service though, they were brilliant, and got my order shipped immediately!

Great office chairs, looks absolutely brand new for a refurbished product! Very well packaged and delivered in perfect condition. Great value too.

Good quality desk in good condition (with one chip, luckily not visible). All fittings supplied, but no instructions.

I bought a human scale Freedom chair and a double monitor stand also by human scale both of them are excellent. The service from the office crowd was brilliant as well and they even sent me good photographs of the covering and discussed the quality of the leather so I could decision. I would recommend them if you’re gonna buy used office furniture!

I was a bit worried having seen the reviews but decided to place an order as I really wanted this desk and it was a bargain price. Dispatch took a little time - as explained and expected and I checked in with customer service in my excitement. They were pleasant and helpful, giving an update. Item arrived and a couple of minor damage places but nowhere visible or that mattered - after all it is refurb! It’s up and functioning perfectly and exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

I ordered the RH Logic 400, and it arrived surprisingly quickly, even though it was an international delivery. The customer service was excellent, particularly Lyndsey, who was incredibly patient and accommodating to all my requests. The chair arrived in excellent condition, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it so far.

Absolutely terrible customer service, having read online reviews (which I should have done before placing an order) I haven’t been able to get hold of these people once since placing my order on the 11th may, there was an automatic confirmation of receiving payment but despite phone and email requests to confirm a delivery update, absolutely nothing. I urgently need the items ordered and I’m now thing it’s better to spend more and go to Ikea but it’s not even possible to cancel as you can’t get anyone to email or call you back.

still no response to any of my calls or messages, just checked companies house as more than a bit worried and it seems the company is dissolved which explains the lack of response and I doubt the resent reviews

Ordered a steelcase leap v2, chair came in 7 days, been using it for 2 weeks now, great investment.

I wish I had read reviews on trustpilot before making an order with The Office Crowd.

I ordered an office chair with The Office Crowd on the 24th of April 2026 and within a few days, after learning of a change in our financial situation, requested to cancel my order.

I got a response back the same day saying that they will forward on to the team responsible for cancelling and process my cancellation. Felt like a good resolution, right? (This is before any shipping whatsoever)

And then my cancellation was never processed. Multiple follow up emails (before shipping) and unanswered phone calls before the chair finally arrived. Now I'm trying to process a return (which could have been completely avoided) and have a big box in my hallway that I can't open or do anything with. I'm really not confident that they will respond to my request to return within their 14 day return period.

So yeah, pretty frustrating experience.

I took quite sometime to pick the right chair and The Office Crowd had it at a great price (RH 400 chair).
My order arrived swiftly, delivered via FedEx. I was kept updated all the way with the delivery. Communication was great and email updates.

*The Chair*
Was immaculate! Seriously it looked new! With so many adjustable parts, i finally got it set up to my needs. Very comfortable when you have a desk job!

*The Customer Service*
I noticed the balloon lumbar pump was missing. I dropped them a note saying that everything was great but that part was missing. Within a few minutes I had a reply and they were on it! 48hrs later, the part arrived.

*The End Result*
100% will buy any office needs again from The Office Crowd. Credit to the whole team who made my purchasing experience awesome.
Things can go wrong and it's how you fix them. They did everything right.

I ordered replacement arms for my office chair. After I placed the order I looked at the reviews and worried I was going to be dissapointed. Quite the opposite, I ordered them on Thursday and they arrived on Monday, well within the 5 business days.
Very happy, and the new arms fitted to my chair perfectly.

I chose this company because the proposition is strong and I liked the idea of a more sustainable way of purchasing a refurbished chair .

However, my experience has been consistently disappointing.

The first chair arrived in a condition that did not reflect a refurbished product. The legs were scuffed with exposed metal, there was a visible tear in the fabric, and there was a lack of adequate protective packaging around key areas such as the legs and wheels. It felt less like a properly restored item and more like a used chair that had been sent out without sufficient quality control.

While an exchange was eventually arranged, communication throughout was inconsistent. I was advised that senior team members would follow up, but no response was ever received from them directly. I had to chase multiple times before a replacement was issued.

The replacement chair itself was acceptable, but the process around it remained difficult. The boxes used are extremely large, and in my case, navigating them through a narrow hallway with existing back issues was not straightforward. Despite this, deliveries were made without requiring a signature and were left on my doorstep, which created additional inconvenience and risk.

There also appears to be a lack of coordination between the company and their courier, FedEx. Delivery dates changed without warning, and the system did not allow for meaningful rescheduling.

More concerningly, a further shipment has triggered in error and one of the team simply said she no idea what miscommunication has happened here. Despite multiple requests to have this cancelled at source, I was advised to “reject the delivery” instead. This effectively shifts the burden of resolving the issue onto the me (their customer), which is not reasonable particularly when dealing with large, heavy items.

At the time of writing, the shipment is still active and I have not received any confirmation that it has been cancelled..

The concept is strong, but the execution falls short in ways that create unnecessary friction for the customer. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the company in its current form
