Very efficient and professional service…
Very efficient and professional service from day 1. Found doing everything online really good. We were kept fully informed of how the process was moving and what we needed to do to. Our queries were always answered quickly and it was easy to speak to someone on the phone if necessary. We have not moved for 35years and we definitely felt looked after and valued by Monica and her team.

The staff were always helpful and professional on the phone and if they said they would call back - they did.
The sale took much longer than expected with various problems but each problem was dealt with and resolved.

Led to breakdown of my house sale
Our buyers directly attributed pulling out to the rudeness and arrogance of the partnership. They had a great service until you realise how they correspond with other lawyers and make things up on your behalf. Raised an official complaint which they barely even investigated despite emails of proof. PLEASE steer clear and save yourself the hassle.

Would recommend
The partnership dealt with our house sale under probate with great success. They were able to get everything done in reasonable time despite complicated and sometimes difficult circumstances. I had used them once before and would not hesitate in using them again.

Unexpectedly bad
I hired The Partnership to purchase a one-bed apartment in central London for £325,000. The Partnerships lawyer fee was 30% above the next highest quote from other solicitors, which I paid hoping that I would get a reasonably good service.
In reality, my transaction got delayed by 3 weeks than it reasonably should be expected to complete. I had to convince my own solicitor that we can't rely on inaccurate info supplied to us by the seller without evidence. I felt pressured to just "get on with it" and go ahead with the transaction as is, when it was clearly not beneficial for me. On top of high-end base fee, which I agreed to pay, I got unexpectedly upsold by +50% for work I outlined to them before I hired them and back then the sales person said nothing about this additional fee. I found out about additional fee in the financial statement. They added the fee only after I exchanged, but before completed. This way I had almost no chance to question it, dispute it and had to just pay it. Their response times at many points throughout transaction were quite long, when someone goes on two-week holiday, they say there is a replacement, in practice though work simply stopped. They would answer clear yes/no questions, but they ignored any questions where I asked them to share their experience and judgement. They just ignored and I had to send them questions again and again to get some kind of an answer. Their advice and guidance for exchange and completion process was extremely limited, I had to use ChatGPT given the time sensitivity. Overall 1/5 for all the reasons above.

The partnership was so impressive on communication with us and the estate agent, the estate agent is now also going to recommend them. Worth the slight increase in price against competition when the service is so clear and easy.

They are extremely efficient. The portal system is easy to access and use and you get weekly updates. On the rare occasions I needed to speak with my solicitor they were always available. Dealt with all the issues quickly. It’s the 3rd time we’ve worked with The Partnership !

We were very happy with the service
We were very happy with the service, quick to respond to any queries and messages. The whole process was dealt with very quickly.
The down side for us was everything was copied in and sent to both our phones and email so made things some what confusing.
