The below is copied from another review but it echoes my experience exactly - from being overcharged by my previous vets, no clarity around cancellation fees (I too believed it was a rolling contract and was never advised otherwise), paying in good faith for over 3 years and moving to a good, fair vet who doesn't use Pet Health Club.
There is absolutely no cost to either Pet Health Club or the previous vet, so if I pay up they are basically being rewarded for overcharging, with pet owners being ripped off either way.

*(Not happy with our vets so we are changing to a new practice which isn't part of the Pet Health Club.

Nobody EVER told us there was a cancellation fee for this cover and we just assumed as we had paid monthly for several years it was just continuous cover.

So we are left with the choice, pay £93 for 4-months of cover we can't ever claim on or a £60 cancellation fee. No negotiation, no consideration that we have paid a fortune in premiums, just pay up or we send you to a debt collection agency.

We left our last vet because we felt they were overcharging us, the pet health scheme was just another way they were ripping us off without us knowing.

The new vet has a far better reputation for fairness - probably explains why they will have nothing to do with this)

Friendly knowledgeable

FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD TO USE THIS SO AT TIME OF SUBMITTING THIS I DON'T AT MOMENT HAVE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE OF IT.

A very welcoming veterinary practise. Our new puppy Eddy had her second vaccines everyone made a fuss of her. The staff were friendly and approachable.

it's, great. and affordable, it's nice not to have to worry so much about vet bills.

I had to change the ownership of my kitten due to my husband sadly passing away. Everyone was so sympathetic to my needs and made the whole process easy to understand and everything was sorted within a few minutes. The subscription is worth every penny and I have two cats now covered by this plan. I highly recommend this company

Very happy with the whole set up. When it’s time for annual injections monthly flea treatment etc always a good feeling to know you have paid. Very happy to save money in this current climate.

When I had to have my dog put down my daughter notified you and she said the people were lovely and made the experience easy.

Its something I didn't know about. My dog is 4yrs old and recently read into the club. Rosie had all her vaccines worm and flea health check anal glands done and all for the cost of £33.99 pr mth so I didn't have the whole cost at 1 time. And she will be wormed flea treated all yr round and as a dog that requires regular anal glands cleaning it's all covered. Gives me peace of mind about my dogs health at an affordable cost. Money off meds and consultation costs covered. What's not to love.

I would not recommend this service, our vets practice expects the customer to collect from the surgery which is very inconvenient. Having had the policy for 14 months and hardly used any of the medication or services they now want £60 to cancel. As it turns out the Pet Health Club is owned by the same company as the practice. I never usually complain but this doesn't seem fair to the customer. Have tried to complain but advised I need to go via the practice which I don't want to do. All in all please be very careful before signing up.

The nurse we saw was very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable!?

Really happy with Pet Health Club and the peace of mind it gives me knowing Ralph is being looked after. It’s reassuring to know I can keep on top of his health and routine treatments without worrying about unexpected costs every time. Having everything in place for him makes life so much easier, and I just want to make sure he gets the best care possible. Definitely worth it for the peace of mind!

Experience good. However a little expensive.

Staff excellent so friendly and very knowledgeable. Also held the pup with care.

Caring staff , receptionist helpful, and follow up as promised.
