Have used this company before and been really impressed but this order total disaster hardly any meat in the pies really surprising as they used to be packed with it chicken and stuffing pie, only five tiny cubes of chicken and this is meant to be a family size pie even the beef pies absolutely the same maybe the companies changed it cooking practice but will definitely not be ordering again

Really nice pies with plenty of meat. I've only given 4 stars because I felt the pies contained a little too much salt.

Ordered a selection of pies, pasties and sausage rolls, didn’t have too long to wait and was kept informed ref delivery date. We’ve tried a few of them now and every one has been delicious, very pleased with both the quality and price considering how nice these are!

Bought 2 family pies 2 pasties and apple pie and apple crumble.
The steak and kidney pie was nice plenty of meat.
Chicken pie not so much meat.
Apple pie wasn't all that great as well.
Ordered 3 cheese and onion pasties and to be honest I couldn't tell they had cheese in them more potatoe than anything.
Lastly the ,apple crumble, since when did a crumble come encrusted in pastry it was an apple pie with crumble on top and the bare amount of apple inside, on the whole very dissatisfied and won't be buying again

Where's the meat gone? We have been regular customers for the last few years but the last two deliveries were disappointing. The pies are no longer crammed with meat, two small pieces of meat in one pie and it wasn't a one-off either. Come on, you can do better than that!

I have tried loads of pies from farmers markets,butchers and supermarkets exclusive range.
The real pie company are fantastic beautiful pastry and huge lumps of meat.
They are delicious and good price for the quality.
My whole family love them.

Purchased some scratchings at the Malvern show on Saturday, well what can I say, they were the best I've ever had, really scrummy. Still munching my way through the three bags I bought and will be putting in an order for another supply.s
Going to order some pies too. Great customer service too.

We are very happy with the order apart from the box bing left on it's end and not handed over to us, On opening the box it had a split down the side of the polystyrene and three pies broken. We have eaten the largest pie which was very nice, any chance you could make it bigger.

The pies we purchased where very tasty and we liked the great pastry at a very fair price.

Ok but not that good, pie contained quite a bit of tough meat, wont be ordering again

Ordered a selection of award winning pie and they were truly amazing.
Tried various companies and these selection is by far the best. When it is called ‘steak pie’ you will find large chunks of fillet steak. Absolutely heavenly!

Received two standard size steak pies. Each pie contained just two pieces of meat, accounting for perhaps a third of the space inside the crust, all the rest of the space was filled with simply thick gravy. Disgraceful. Waste of money.

Delivery was the full 5 Days so always factor that in when ordering have not tried the pies yet only had them 4 days will comment when tried and tasted

Great delivery of steak pies, sausage rolls and fruit pies. All freshly made and arrived well packed into a cool box which meant they weren’t damaged at all. All very tasty and good value for money as there is never any waste. I would definitely recommend.

The quality of each of the pies etc is superb as well as being of a good size and tastes delicious .

The pies are larger than I expected for individual pies They are tasty, moist and full of succulent fillings.Good with a glass beer for lunch or suppet

I ordered 8 Steak and Kidney pies. At the time of writing, I have now eaten 2. I usually make my own S&K pies, but this time I thought I'd give a professional company a go. Big mistake. The pies are mainly full of gravy, there is some steak, but it's cut too big for this size of pie. The real dealbreaker is the kidney. Again, cut too big for the small pie case, and it was tough, with all the gristle left in. I will go back to making my own. I cook my Steak & Kidney in a slow cooker with some ale and Worcester sauce, and it melts in the mouth. I informed their customer services, that I've had better pies from Lidl. I recently bought a cheap pie, costing £1.50 ish, and it was actually very tasty. Looking at the other comments, it would appear that buying from this company, is a bit of a lottery. I seem to have picked the short straw on this occasion. I've had to use my Google account to submit this, but my real name is Paul Fretwell.
Update 30-08-2024: I have now been refunded the full amount I paid for these pies, including the postage.
