With effect from 29 November 2024 The Rewards Club Limited has stopped selling clubs. Benefits under existing club agreements will be honoured but no further payments in respect of renewals of existing club memberships will be taken and club memberships will come to an end at the end of the current payment periods.

That,s One shut down, just need all the rest of this group of Easylife,s partner/sisters companies to be shut down, by legal enforcement if that is what is required.

So, how according to some reviewers are they still fraudulently, scamming and taking money from peoples bank accounts even now????????????????????????.

Bought a chair cover from Easylife in May via telephone. Insisted we did not want to join their club
Now 3 x £18.50 payments taken in November by Rewards Club using those card details.
They are unauthorised. Informed Bank who immediately put a stop on future card transactions BUT to get the money back I have t prove did not enter any agreement. I have sent emails to Easylife and Rewards Club - either no response or bounce back. Using an old term This is STEALING

I have just noticed payments being taken from my credit card of £18.50 from the Rewards Club Kent. A bit of research showed that their parent company is Easylife from which I have never bought ANYTHING.
This is the second time this has happened as 2 years ago I belatedly noticed they had been taking £19.99 at irregular intervals but mainly on a monthly basis over a period of 14 months. It was my mistake not checking statements but I was able to get a refund at that time. The bank was very helpful and deleted my account and set up a new one so don't understand how this could happen again. I will have to wait till Monday to start speaking to people and get my money back. This company should not be allowed to continue trading. Check out the Which report if you have time. This has been going on since 2018.

Utterly disgusting business preying on the elderly and vulnerable BUT no point leaving your reviews on here for The Rewards Club, you need to also leave a review for easylife.co.uk as they are the main ones who are operating the scam. The director of easylife.co.uk is the same director of The Rewards Club.

They know exactly what they are doing in capturing card details for legitimate purchases on easylife.co.uk and then suggesting you've agreed to join a rewards club subscription on a 28-day cancellation basis. My 84 mother did not agree to this and I would suspect few if any of the people who have been scammed have agreed.

I bought two things from easylife paid on my card!
Now they have taken out five payments from account of 1£19 .99 on one day twice ! Have just found out after looking at my bank statement!
Scam don’t touch this company

Yet again this company have taken two payments off me for nothing. Passed from pillar to post from Easylife to Rewards Club . Scamming pensioners. I’m going to have to walk to my bank in this storm as I have no online banking. Please can we get this Rewards Club shut down and get compensated for all the troubles and worries they have caused?

Take money via debit card, really hard to get it stopped. Helpline charges for call, keeps you on the line and no resolution. My partially sighted dad had no idea what was going out to them, they have taken £1000s.

Scam company, as others have said I had £99 taken from my account

Appalling, brought something for my elderly parent then saw my account had been debited twice in one day. I didn't sign up to anything. Managed to block my account to stop any further transactions. Be very aware of both Easy Life and The Rewards Club. How do companies like this manage to still be operating and sending out their catalogues in mainstream newspapers conning the elderly out of their money. They disgust me and I hope they are closed down as soon as possible. In the internet world you are required to specify what customer data you wish to disclose, this company offers nothing like that especially if you are for example elderly and have no internet. Want my money returned NOW!

This is a SCAM company, my vulnerable mum was targeted, received a letter welcoming her to a Wellbeing Club she had not asked to join with a fee of £5.99 a month after the trial period ended. They took £5.99 twice in October and same in November. I spotted the activity as I manage her banking under POA. Bank fraud team were great blocked the company and credited my Mum.

Searching for reviews on this company I see they have been preying on vulnerable people for years. How they can be allowed to still trade is beyond me.

Scam, took money from our bank account without any permission or authority from us. Fortunately our bank were sympathetic and returned our cash.
Avoid at all cost and keep an eye on your bank account.

If I could give these con artists a minus star rating I would. It is amazing that these scumbags are still allowed to trade. Preying on elderly people. I really don't know how they sleep at night. Took 4 payments out of mums account with out her realising. Luckily the bank refunded, however it does make you worry about how many other people have not realised or been so lucky.

How do you become a member?
Order from EasyLife and BANG, you're in, even if you don't want to be. Hanging up on a phone call is automatic acceptance of their club.
Trying to cancel in the 14 day cooling off period. So far so bad!

THIS IS ABOUT THE REWARDS CLUB AND POD CLUB. The Rewards Club and Pod Club which are aligned with Easy Life. 28th October Rewards Club took 2 x £59.99 (£119.98) out of my account. Had no idea who they were. Called them and told them to get my money back into my account as I didn’t know who they were and what I was paying for. When asking my information they couldn’t find my info until I gave them the first 6 and last 4 digits of my long number. The info came up. I got my money back that week. The following week The POD Club tried to take £79.45 out of my account but it was declined as I had transferred my pension to another account so the payment didn’t go through. I contacted the bank again and the bank put a stop on both these companies so they couldn’t take funds. I called the POD Company which is at the same offices. They asked my info again and the same problem arose so I asked if the name was my name on their system and I was told no, different name and different address. I got that info. I told them to take my bank details off their system. Then Sunday 10 November guess what, another attempt of £158.33 by the Rewards Club was attempted but declined again as I had not transferred any money back. I called them today and was scathing on the phone, I was informed my info had been removed and the guy hung up on me. I was refused when I asked to speak to a manager. So I called again a few hours later and it was confirmed my details had been removed. I am waiting to see if any more attempts are going to be made. I have wrote to the CEO to all the companies he is CEO of, with no response. Be careful because Easylife must share your details with these two companies and I think they sign you up with Rewards & POD company and start taking funds out of your account without any authorisation from you because you don’t know they are doing it. Also this will be a recurring charge not a one off payment, details are shared and in the future you may well be signed up for something you didn’t apply for and these are not small amounts. JUST BEEN CALLED TONIGHT BY EASY LIFE TRAVEL CLUB. YET ANOTHER COMPANY UNDER EASY LIFE UMBRELLA. AM SUPPOSED TO BE OFF THEIR SYSTEM. BE WARNED AND STAY CLEAR.

Scam company, sister company of EasyLife. I bought with EasyLife a long time ago, which is where they got my info from and then signed me up to PodClubs, which turns out to be a warranty service. Traced it back to RewardsClub. I've not asked for this and not received any post or emails to tell me about the service. They tried to charge £24.99 for the last 3 months but luckily blocked by the bank. Banks know these guys are scammers. But they are very persistent and even despite 3 new credit cards being issued, subscriptions get charged against the account not the card so they can just keep trying. I've spoken to rewards club today who have told me they have cancelled my subscription but I don't trust them. Credit card frozen until further notice.

If you do an internet search easylife or rewards club you will find articles detailing how they take money with out permission.

This seems to be an umbrella company for a number of so called "clubs". I was told I had singed up for "Premier Warranty Services" for £24.99 a month which I never did and initially couldn't find any reviews which made me look further. From what others are saying this does look like a SCAM. My initial contact was a phone call to say I had a gift/offer of £50 and I would get a letter in the post with details!!!

0n 2nd Oct 2024. Podclubs took £99 out of my bank, I have never heard of them or even seen the name Podclubs before and I'm definitely not registered with them.
I have contacted my bank and now it's in their hands, they are tracing this transaction.

Allegedly Wellform sent out a welcome pack giving a 28 day free trial before subscription to The Rewards Club. No such pack received. Pre recorded phone message acknowledged they were part of the same but customer disservice member denied the debit appeared on her account. Had to demand a supervisor who immediately acknowledged what had happened and has agreed to refund £38.99 that was never agreed to. This passive opting in is unethical in every way!!
