At WBC headquarters (population: three), a 5-star review is basically like winning the lottery—except instead of buying a yacht, we just grin maniacs for the rest of the day. When Rue’s glowing feedback came in, the office erupted into cheers, high-fives, and maybe an awkward victory dance or two. It’s amazing how a few kind words can power up the team faster than a triple espresso. to say, we’re now eagerly awaiting the next order, ready to serve up more of whatever magic sparked this fabulous review.

Decent enough product, however…
Decent enough product, I chose lean but have had quite a few fatty bits in the pouches so far. Buying in bulk should probably be a little cheaper than it is but most places seem to overcharge for bulk orders. Delivery was disappointing as it took 4 days and during a heatwave, pouches are full of condensation due to being in transit in that heat which isn’t great - to much hassle to organise replacement so chancing it. Not ill yet thankfully 🙏🏼

Turns out, your Biltong landed just three days after you clicked “buy now.” You even snagged our special first-order discount, bringing the price to a smidge over £45 per kilo—practically a steal when you consider we make every batch fresh. Sure that means we’re not exactly Amazon-speed, but unlike those delivery Goliaths, our Biltong is handcrafted with love (and the occasional slice of fat for flavour—because all lean and no fat makes Biltong a dull chew).
We’re scratching our heads about, if you were disappointed, you didn’t just pop us another email—like you did midweek when you thought your delivery had wandered off into the wilderness. We’d have happily played the hero again. As for your concerns about condensation during the so-called “Great Heat Wave April 2026,” rest assured: over the past decade, we’ve shipped hundreds of thousands of packs through temperatures that would make the Sahara blush. And since Biltong was born to survive African heat, a little warm British breeze isn’t going to ruffle its delicious dried feathers.
It seems that if we had waited for the “Great Heat Wave of April 2026” to pass before sending, our delivery would have been even slower. So here we are, stuck in a classic case of being damned if we do and damned if we don’t—sweating through the heat or sweating over the delays.

Delivery was great product arrived timely ordered Mr Sweet marshmallow eggs but unfortunately the eggs must have been subjected to heat at some point as the mallow had melted leaving the eggs full of very sticky residue.

We do try to describe this on our product description to avoid any issues in the case of the product you purchased we described this as

We're committed to packing them with the utmost attention, though their delicate composition means damage can happen despite our best efforts. We're unable to process refunds for breakage or any other damage or imperfections that occurs during import or delivery, and we hope you'll appreciate the nature of these special confections"

A company that cares about customer service.
I've been buying from Weston for a couple of years now and their lean biltong is the best I've found and I've tried a lot during my high protein diet. The flavour variety is brilliant. The thing that stood out this time was I put the wrong shipping address in, messaged them, and even though they were out of the country it was sorted instantly and even apologised for being out of the country. When the order did arrive there was an issue, which can be expected when you use shipping agents, but they owned the problem whilst they were still out of the country and still apologised. The problem was sorted and they have, still, a very happy customer who will keep buying the 2kg variety box. Thank you.

The best biltong I’ve had
I get the chilli fatty biltong and it’s the best I’ve managed to find. On top of that the kilo box is cheaper per weight than any butcher or supermarket I’ve found. Supermarket biltong doesn’t compare, it’s dry and lean and got no flavour compared to these guys. Keep up the good work guys!👍

Not received order
Ordered more than a week ago and still not arrived. Emailed for support and received none
Update: Have attempted again to communicate with the company after they threatened to remove my review. Still waiting for a response from them and still not received order
Update: strange that you are so keen to communicate with me using this platform, which doesn't support messaging, but refuse to communicate either me via email. Order number is 37788. As of 21/01/26 still not received order, 2 weeks wait!

Sorry we are unable to see any orders from yourself or any email asking for help. This is the very first instance we have heard there is a problem but we can't trace the order.
Please can you message us again or at least leave a order number on this review so we can trace it and resolve any issues you may have.
We have just checked again we don't have any out standing orders under this name.
We have requested more information via Trust Pilot in an attempt to gain some clarity on this review, please respond or the review will be removed.
UPDATE - We still haven't received any form of contact from yourself, we have again checked any outstanding orders, emails, spam folders answer machine messages and even behind the sofa and yes you guessed it nothing not a thing not a sign of you ever ordering from us.
We have asked you to add your order number to your review and still no such detail, we have asked trust pilot to contact you for more information and again nothing. We truly do believe you have the wrong company. Without an order number we can't help resolve any issue you may have . Quite honestly this review seems very odd, the lack of detail, the in ability to add an order number, no phone calls, your name not existing on our customer database nothing adds up at all. Raises a serious question is this review real or just an attempt to damage our fabulous rating on here.......
