Ordered a dress took weeks to come. It was too late for the party that I needed it for. Trying to contact the company but had no reply. The dress looks nothing like the picture.

I would give it Zero stars if could- DO NOT buy from this company. As other reviewers have said, their website is misleading. Founded by ‘mum and daughter based in Amsterdam’ but when tracking order, the products are coming from China. Ordered 2 dresses and once made order only then saw ‘express’ delivery would take 7-12 working days. Tried to cancel order as not on time for event we wanted dress for only to be told can’t. We waited and dressed eventually turned up but v flimsy material- see through and not as expected at all. Wanted to return and tried to click links/find website and kept getting error messages. Only way was to use previous email that had exchanged messages on. Got reply offered store credit and return costs deducted from that.
V dishonest and misleading company; advise not to purchase from them unless absolutely sure of sizes, don’t mind the poor quality and not in a hurry to receive your order.
Noted their replies to those wanting returns were as tho written by a bot.

HUGE SCAM AVOID. Looks completely different to website. Horrendous quality. They lie about their address on their website saying they’re based in Amsterdam but force you to send any returns to china so you’re hugely out of pocket.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I ordered a dress for my daughter and on website it said 7-8 working days - it took over 10. The dress which I paid £39 for was faulty and looked like something home made. Really rubbish material. Trying to send back they keep offering credits to keep the dress and buy more from them! No thanks! But to return it has to be sent to China at high cost! I should have looked here before ordering …

I ordered 2 items from Thomwood and upon trying to return, they want me to pay £25 extra with the chance the item may even be “held at customs” and therefore the return being void.
I am going to trading standard’s about this!

Ordered a dress the product did not match the colour or the picture. They also sent the wrong size. Tried to return after many emails found had to return to china at a cost of £25 despite them saying there was a free returns they offered a 20% refund do not use this company .

Ordered a pair of boots. Arrived within 10 days. Excellent quality. Had regular emails updating me of where the process was at from start to finish which was great. Very happy with item. Not sure if the real deal but for the price the quality was great!

Beautiful boots but a little on the small side compared to British sizing. I would suggest going a size bigger to what you would normally buy.

The dress I ordered was not what arrived. Made from a nasty nylon fabric and poorly made. My order took ages to get here and such a disappointment when it arrived.
THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY based in China, which is not obvious. They offer a voucher for the full price but no actual money back unless you agree to having 10% of the price returned and keep the nasty, poorly made, garment. What a croc! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Stay away from this company it’s a scam and nothing looks anything like the adverts .. it’s Chinese junk of the poorest quality ! DONT BUY ANYTHING

Item ordered was nothing like item advertised. Was told if I wanted a refund it would cost a minimum of £25 in postage. How is this company allowed to operate. I never would gave purchased if I knew they were from China.

Scammers - do not use this company. Ordered two dresses and two horrible nylon dresses arrived - not as advertised or the size I ordered. No returns allowed unless paying approx £25 to ship to China and the threat of having to pay more because of Chinese Customs charges. A weird bartering process then took place offering 10%, then 20% and 30% to keep and not return the items. I wouldn't wash my car with them. I used a credit card, Tesco Mastercard who have been unhelpful - asking me to send measurements of the dresses and entering into endless correspondence rather than going on line to see what Scammers this company are. How Thomwood are still allowed to use Mastercard, I do not know? Actually, I do because they are making money while we all get scamed.

The dress I ordered has a scorch mark on it. Even without that, it is still absolute rubbish, cheap and nasty, nothing like the picture.
Do not order from this company.
My regret (apart from ordering from this company) is not checking the reviews first.

I wish I’d done my research, with a name like Thomwood you wouldn’t dream it was Chinese ! I don’t do China even the postage address on my parcel was Amsterdam how can they get away with it ! I am definitely going to go further with this as they shouldn’t be allowed to trade in England , I should have given my £40 to charity as they’re offering me £4 back , I know Thomwood will reply how sad they are but they’re not I’ve already gone through the customer support route with no joy , the dress I bought was nice BUT the sizing is ridiculous I ordered a larger size than normal to be loose in the summer and I couldn’t even get it over my shoulders , I agree with one previous reviewer it’s a scam.
