I was worried about sizing, but Thomwood got it exactly right. The item fits like a glove, and I really appreciated how straightforward and honest their return and shipping policies were. I’m so happy with my experience!I’ll be ordering more for sure!

I stumbled on Thomwood through an ad, and I’m so glad I gave it a try. The site was super easy to use, checkout was smooth, and delivery was quicker than I expected . Everything felt personal even the packaging. It made me smile

So I fully prepared to return something, I even saved the return address. But joke’s on me because everything fit so well I ended up doing a little fashion show in my living room. I’m keeping it ALL and probably ordering more haha .

Absolute Joke
I ordered what appeared to be a beautiful dress but what arrived was a cheaply made dress, sequins falling off all over the place and the straps were made of such poor elasticated fabric that the elastic had failed which meant the dress wouldn't even sit on me (became more of a skirt). I contacted Customer Services to tell them that the dress was faulty but told that even though their refund policy covers FoC returns on faulty items, that I would have to pay £25-40 postage to China (their address is in the Netherlands) as they didn't believe me. Stuck with a dress I can't even wear as it a disaster - not even sure I could get it fixed!!

Update - i had a horrendous experience with customer service. Apparently a photo is all they need to confirm that material isnt faulty. Even after I took the dress to a professional seamstress who laughed at the straps and said they weren't fit for purpose, Thomwood still didnt believe me. Imagine a really old elastic band that has lots its elasticity and has stretched and cracked and is about to split? Thats what the straps are like. So I will now have to pay to get proper straps added and the dress altered because Thomwood will not help.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Third order in and the sizing never fails me. I read the policies before ordering and everything made sense and went smoothly. I'm in love with my new jacket btw haha

cheap nasty dress poorly made with scratchy itchy fabrics. Poorly made out of china with a returns cost of £25 back to China that needs a ton of paperwork.

Honestly, I don’t trust the bad reviews! they’re just haters . My experience was fantastic: great quality, perfect fit , and awesome customer service . Definitely worth trying!

Wish I could give zero stars kind of situation. Please avoid, I wish I had read the reviews before purchase. Super overpriced clothes and a non-existent return policy (you have to email support, which are AI bots, and options are 10% refund, exchange for a different item or you pay full postage £25 to China) How does this company still exist??

Much like other reviews - item ordered was not what arrived, pictures on website are nothing like. Complained, 100% credit offered (but you will have to pay postage for the item) or 10% partial refund, which would be about £3 which is probably what the item is actually worth. Or as others have said return to China for a similar cost to the actual item. Will be notifying trading standards about this company.
Wish I had seen/looked for these reviews earlier - Don't make the same mistake, do not buy from here.

I have had numerous emails back and forth in which Thomwood have had the opportunity to resolve this issue to satisfaction (which would be a 100% refund) and they have not. I relented and decided to accept the 10% refund so as not to lose all my money, only to have the laughable £2.69 pending in my account for weeks - my review remains the same, do not buy from this company. When they knowingly send you an item looking nothing like what you thought you were ordering, they have no intention of 'putting it right'.

This is a scam company that uses fake images of the products. If you are reading this: DO NOT BUY from them. The items are very low quality and nothing like the description. The “30 days return” is also fake and once you obviously need to return the item they will charge £25 for the returning.

Scam states free returns full refund !! Not the case they charge you £25.00 to return the item and tell you they might not receive it so you won’t get a refund and youl be down £25.00 for the postage plus the cost of the item if they don’t receive it so they offer to give you 10% partial refund instead The dress was cheap netted material not true to size not true to picture !!

The clothes fit great, look sharp, and feel like quality. Honestly, it’s rare to find a store that gets it right from start to finish.

Avoid at all cost!! Items sent were not what was advertised. Customer service is non existent. They’ve sent me two dresses which are nothing like the images they use on their website then said if I want to return them it’s at my own cost all the way to china and have warned me that it can take up to 8 weeks to process the return!!!

Only wishing I’d looked at reviews before ordering from this online company. Ordered in good faith given that their website states ‘if you’re not totally in love with the product we offer a full refund’. Turns out that requires you to send the goods back to their fulfilment centre in China at an ‘average cost’ of £25. To qualify the package needs to be received within 30days of your original delivery, and customer service advise that there’s every likelihood your package may be held up so no guarantee it’ll get there on time.
Shoes were described as ‘genuine leather’, with ‘good support’ and ideal for indoor & outdoor activities. In reality the appear to be PU ie synthetic leather, are so bizarrely sized with no support, and wouldn’t last 5 minutes outside! Total scam. If you’re tempted, read through their service terms in full - they take no responsibility for the quality of what they’re selling and put the responsibility on the customer to satisfy themselves from ‘primary sources’ as to what you’re actually buying. If they were registered in this country they’d be in breach of consumer law.
The fact they’ll let you keep the rubbish you now have for a 10 or 20%partial refunds tells you all you need to know! And they must think I’m daft if they think I’m going to accept a 100% credit to set against future purchases.
Would give zero stars if that was an option.

UPDATE
Just an update to say I pursued a chargeback request with my credit card company based on the grounds mentioned above and I’ve now received a full refund into my account. I’ve advised Thomwood that I still have the two pairs of shoes available for them to collect but they’re not interested - presumably because the costs would outweigh the worth of the goods!

Do not use! SCAM !!
Advice from bank if you wish to receive a refund, is to not accept any of their offers, 10%, 20% etc and tell Thomwood that the item is available for them to collect. If they refuse that, contact your bank and start the chargeback process.

Any review on here that states that this business and the items it sends are of high quality, along with the service, are fake reviews. This company is a scam and they're ripping off their customers. They are a Chinese company and the website is fake. I'd love to know if the mother and daughter collaboration is also fake, or if they are being paid to front this scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This companies products are very poor quality. When you ask to return they tell you the postage is £25!!!!! This is not clear on the website. They falsely state full refund. AVOID!!!

Absolutely scammers, Do not buy from this company. I would give 0 stars if I could.
I ordered 2 jumpsuits in different sizes for a hen party. Not only did they take a long time to arrive (after the event), when they did arrive the quality waa shocking, paper thin and not at all what was advertised. It appears they are taking pictures of items from other websites!
Despite the fact the website states that they will offer full refunds if returned within 30 days this is not the case. The only way to get any type of refund is to send them an email. I emailed and I was given 2 options. 1) To keep the item and be given a 10% refund or to return the item to China at a cost to myself of around £25 for a full refund! The value of the items was £60 and the items were not fit for purpose! Several emails later their final offer was 50% and to keep the items. I advised them that I would not be accepting this offer and instead would be raising a dispute with my bank. They recommended I didn't do this as if the bank didn't offer me a refund then they wouldn't be in a position to either. On principal I decided to stick to my guns and raise a dispute. To cut a long story short after being investigated by the bank Thomwood gave me a full refund!!!!! Please do not accept anything these people say and take things up with your bank. People like this need to be stopped.
