We were very fortunate to stumble across Thornhill Plumbing through one of their YouTube videos after our en suite bathroom was refurbished by a different company and the shower started leaking shortly after.

Our original fitter proved to be difficult to get hold of and Huw at Thornhill came to our rescue when we got in touch.

Huw explained what the issues were likely to be and despite being extremely busy, found us a slot and fitted us in for a visit within a couple of days.

Huw arrived bang on time on the day and set to work. He showed us where the shower was leaking which was exactly as he had predicted.

Whilst he was on site, we also mentioned another problem and, to his credit, he offered to look at this on the same visit rather than come back and charge us another callout. It must be really annoying when customers do this and I was grateful that Huw had no issue with adding additional work to the original job.

I found Huw to be very professional, knowledgeable, hard working and personable.

Huw grafted for several hours dismantling our shower, making repairs, reassembling and sealing everything and leaving everything neat and tidy.

After 24 hours we were allowed to use the shower and it was completely leak free as expected.

Huw clearly cares about his business, his customers and the quality of his work, which seems to be very rare these days and I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his company.

I also thought the cost of the job (which was under the original estimate) was extremely reasonable given the service levels, time spent and quality of work.
