Great Service

From first contact Gillian was brilliant. She was very quick to respond to emails and telephone queries. The situation I was in was very stressful, Gillian helped keep me through the situation with her professionalism and sense of humour.
I'd highly recommend Gillian at Thorntons Solicitors.

Very trustworthy company and very friendly people working to help you in the best way possible. Thank you so much for everything

I would highly recommend Sharon Connolly at Thorntons Perth for your property purchase.
I last purchased a house 25 years ago so was unsure about the current process. Sharon has been fantastic throughout, keeping me well updated at every stage & explaining the legal terms to me. She handled everything calmly, efficiently & professionally & a few last minute hurdles were efficiently dealt with. Sharon also co-ordinated meetings with the other solicitors involved to ensure the transactions went smoothly on the day.

Katie is absolutely lovely! Very helpful and fast at keeping you updated and helpful with any queries you might have! Quick easy process from start to finish.

Gillian made the process feel very smooth with full transparency throughout.

Great experience with Thorntons solicitor. We were fortunate to have Susan Bird acting for us and she provided a very professional and efficient service making the transition of both the sale of our own house and onward purchase a very smooth and trouble free process. I would highly recommend Susan and Thorntons as a whole for their professional and friendly service.

I would like to recommend Thorntons Solicitors in Edinburgh, particularly Donna Todd, based in Haymarket Terrace offices. She has provided us with excellent advice and professional service throughout the purchase of our new home- a flat in Edinburgh. She provided a
great help during a stressful time of relocation -Thank you for making it smoother.

The sale and the purchase of my new house were handled in a very professional and efficient manner despite there being many difficulties to deal with. Communication was excellent throughout .

Friendly helpful staff member who guided me through the whole process with up to date information keeping me apprised of status of claim all the way through to its conclusion.

Hannah and the rest of the team at Thorntons were incredibly helpful when we were purchasing our new home, they couldn't have done any more to help and made the whole process as smooth as it could be, highly recommend.

The entire team was incredibly supportive, answering our many, many, many questions and navigating a home purchase from overseas. Hannah Fraser was exceptional at handling all of the details, and also for referring us to other members of the team for questions outside of her expertise.

Excellent service from start to finish. Especially given that this purchase was not straightforward. We were kept informed at every stage by Michelle and her colleagues.

The company dealt very efficiently and swiftly with our conveyancing. Susan Dunn explained each stage of the selling process and kept us well informed throughout, which we are very grateful for.

Having never sold a house before, and coming to selling in less than ideal circumstances, we were very apprehensive and anxious about the process. Our solicitor Jenna made us feel much more at ease, and every interaction we had with her made us feel slightly more confident. Jenna and the Thorntons team were always super helpful whenever we contacted them, and we would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you so much 😊

Be very careful if you are trying to claim for medical negligence. They start off by telling you the referral company that sent you to them was wrong. They then ask you to pay £480 for medical records which is actually a fee for a medical company to do a report on you to see if the claim can proceed. Apparently Thorntons are not the medical negligence specialists they claim to be as your paying for the specialist to do a report and decide. So after saying they will take on your case they may well not if the report isn't what they want and they leave you with nearly £500 in debt. Shady at best.

Laura was wonderful during the whole sale and purchase process with no complaints at all. She kept us well informed and really added the personal touch as she remembered us from our previous interactions years ago.

We used Thorntons for both the sale of our property and the onward purchase of another. The service was exceptional from start to finish, helpful, thoughtful and precise.

Very helpful in dealing with my legal matter. Clearly explained what needed to happen and worked at pace to bring the situation to a conclusion. Very happy with their service and would use them again

We used Thorntons as both our estate agent and solicitors when selling our flat recently. In a really tough property market, they were incredibly helpful and professional throughout. Particular thanks to Gillian, our legal representative, for her support, expertise and compassion in helping us navigate our sale to completion.
