I purchased a restored toaster from Tim ~14 months ago. It worked wonderfully and looked amazing in my kitchen but this past month I noticed it had some issues.
I reached out to Tim and he immediately jumped on a call with me to diagnose the issue. When we realized he'd need to service it, he offered to pay for UPS packing/shipping and placed my toaster first in line. True to his pledge, less than 2 weeks later I received my toaster -- working perfectly for the past 2 weeks making daily toast, chrome polished, AND with a new cord. Couldn't praise Tim and his team enough; his dedication to his craft and customers is beyond compare.

Tim did a great job restoring several toasters for me. By the time he is finished restoring a toaster, it's in near like-new condition.

I had been looking for a good toaster for several years. The best I could find was a DuoLite, fully mechanical, toaster. But as good as it was, it was finicky to set up and different breads all required their own setup.
Stumbled across Tim’s website and immediately knew this was THE toaster for me. Spent some time searching and finally found a T-20 model in working condition. Purchased the unit and sent it off to Tim as soon as I received it.
I received my restored toaster just before Christmas. It works perfectly and it looks stunning as well. Tim’s marvelous craftsmanship is a sight to behold, and the packaging in personalized reproduction boxing is a wonderful touch.
If you are looking for someone to restore these marvelous pieces of mechanical engineering, you can’t go wrong by sending your toaster to Tim. His excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and great communications are unsurpassed!

Just beautiful! Who knew a toaster could conjure emotion? After my dad's passing, I found my parent's Sunbeam toaster--a wedding gift in 1959--stored in the basement. A few years earlier we had replaced it with a cheap toaster just to get my dad through his morning routine. I couldn't part with it. The Sunbeam had sat on our kitchen counter throughout my entire childhood. I found Tim online and shipped off the toaster for refurbishing. Tim was responsive and sent pictures of progress along the way. Also provided info (our toaster was date stamped when manufactured (12/10/56)). The toaster now sits on my counter and I know it'll last my lifetime. I'll let my children decide who will keep it on theirs. It's an heirloom and I love having it back!

Tim restored my Sunbeam T20-B toaster to an incredible level of like new condition that other than time travel I don't know where else you could find. His very friendly and polite correspondence was wonderful and reassuring. Receiving it in a personalized replica Sunbeam box was icing on the cake. Absolutely gorgeous work, documented work before and after photos...Tim is an absolute joy to work with. His customer service is beyond anything we have ever experienced! We received our restored 1956 Sunbeam yesterday, and now we are enjoying delicious toast again in the very same toaster given as a birthday gift to my paternal grandmother in 1956! I absolutely love my toaster! It stopped working so I sent it back and there was a tiny wire had come loose. Tim fixed it and sent it right back! He was very quick and accommodating!! It's worked perfect ever since. I got it as a gift in 2019. I use it every single day and this toaster gives me joy!

There's not much more to say that hasn't already been said by all the others. Tim is a national treasure; a sort that seems to be, in great number, a dying breed. One who not only sees the value in good design, but also the need to spend time and talents to keep the good design alive in our world.
Add to that the kindness, lightheartedness, professionalism, and care with which he seems to go about his life and you start to feel that his work goes beyond that of "these little chrome gems".

I've been married 15 years, never have I been able to *gift* my husband
something he was drooling over. He saw the Sunbeam toaster online
(youtube) then went to watched an hour of toaster reviews. Then went on
to explain to me the engineering behind the Sunbean toaster, how you
can't find this kind of toaster, etc.
So here I was, knowing he really would love a toaster like this. I went
online, and all I could find was Sunbeams toasters in disarray (mostly
Ebay). I was heartbroken. Then one night I decided to go on
"duckduckgo.com" and put in "Sunbeam for sale" and came across Tim's
website.
All I can say is I've never had such great customer service, and it was
an exciting process as he worked on the toaster.
Well the day the toaster came in the mail it felt like Christmas. My
husband was confused, but then was floored when he opened it up.
Vintage, one of a kind toaster- automatic, completely refurbished and a
grounded power cord (I loved this the most because of our 2 kiddos).
It's one of my engineer husband's favorite "useful" toys.
Suffice to say it is the most regularly used appliance in our kitchen,
just after the stove. I also never realized, that the gourmet toast you
get out at fancy restaurants- YOU CAN HAVE AT HOME!!! I normally have
never been fond of toast, now I am buying SO many different types of
bread to see what I like.
So, it's my "husband's" toaster, but it's become a permanent part of our
lives- and changed our family breakfasts (and lunch times if you toast
the bread first). I wonder how we ever toasted toast with out it.

In time, these toasters he has restored will be worth thousands of dollars as true collector items, so buy them while you can, there are only so many of these old world beauties left.

Once I saw a Sunbeam radient toaster, I knew I had to have one. Tim was very easy to work with; I received quick responses any time I contacted him. I received my toaster in the timeframe I was told to expect it and it is gorgeous, like new, everything I hoped for and more. I love knowing every single part of this toaster was inspected and made safe. You cannot count on that with most vintage electric purchases. There aren`t enough stars to rate Tim on my son`s T-35 toaster. He is the MASTER of Sunbeam toasters! Tim is an honest, genuinely great person, just can`t praise him enough.

I found Tim to be a polite, responsive, knowledgeable, and honest businessman. My model T-35-1 was expertly packaged, looks brand new, and works like a dream. These toasters weren't cheap when Sunbeam first started making them, and Tim's restored units aren't cheap today. However, I feel they're worth every penny and expect to get a lifetime of use out of mine.

Tim is not only an absolute wizard at restoring these toasters, but also one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I've ever dealt with. His attention to detail is incredible, and his finished product is absolutely worth every single penny. He even discovered that an older attempt to replace the power cord on my toaster was done incorrectly and was a potential fire hazard! So happy I sent it off to him. I can't recommend him and his services highly enough.
