Excellent Experience and Caring Environment
I am very satisfied with the kindergarten I chose for my child. From the very first days, my child adapted remarkably well and feels comfortable and happy in this environment.

Absolutely appalled at the way I have…
Absolutely appalled at the way I have been treated by Tiney. Absolutely no support whatsoever during suspension. They haven’t listened to me and have outright lied twice in their decision letters to suspend and then cancel my registration. Despite knowing I’m pregnant, they have done nothing but cause me stress with no communication as to what was happening. They have behaved like robots and do not have any sympathy of feelings for their childminders. I would not recommend them to anyone who wants to keep their mental health in a good place. Thanks Tiney, the way you have handled this situation has sent me into depression during my second trimester.

We are extremely happy with the care our baby receives from Tiney and specially Vani.She is kind, patient, and very attentive to our baby’s needs. From feeding and hygiene to playtime and comfort, she handles everything with great care and love. Our baby feels safe and happy around her, which gives us a lot of peace of mind as parents. Not user freindly
Parents perspective - no option fot invoice , bank transfer or ability to us tax free childcsre moneys when joining tiney and cannot sign contrsct u til made this payment
Have asled tiney to provide but they claim they do not have a bank account which seems odd ? Obvisouly is a lie but worries me whatelse would they lie about jist to get your card details

My childminder contacted tiney and convinced them to waiver the fee - dates are difficult to get on the app , first invoice was qrong but they repsond quickly to the. Hildminder so i think is a good service for the childminder side

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I've spoken to the team to better understand what happened.
To pay for childcare, tiney childminders accept payments via invoices to their tiney wallet, and all of the government payment schemes you’ve mentioned are fully supported 💛
We do have an enrolment admin fee (covering the cost of onboarding your family to the tiney app and platform) that we can currently only accept card payments for. That's why in this case we waived the fee, as you mentioned to the team you didn't have a card and so couldn't pay in this way.
We use stripe (a global payments platform with the highest security) for safe and secure card transactions and do not store card details.
Based on your feedback, we will look into accepting payments for the guardian enrolment fee via bank transfer and other methods.

Extremely disappointed with Taney's safeguarding, complaint handling, and overall professionalism.
Update to my review:
Two-critical questions remain unanswered.
1. Why was my son kept on the provider's register for weeks after the childcare arrangements had ended and after a safeguarding complaint had been filled? 2. Why was Early Years Funding claimed for weeks after arrangements had formally ended.
While I appreciate that an unannounced visit took place, the investigation response still did not address the detailed examples I provided. A single one-hour visit cannot realistically validate or invalidate weeks of documented concerns.
I hope Tiney will reflect on this feedback and consider strengthening both their safeguarding and transparency for parents. However, based on my experience, tiney is not an organisation I trust, and I would never place my child again with any of their providers.
My child attended a Tiney-registered setting, and we experienced a series of serious concerns relating to care, hygiene, communication, and emotional wellbeing. When I raised these concerns formally with Tiney, the investigation was extremely superficial. Despite detailed evidence and a very long list of issues, their “assessment” consisted of a single visit and a short conversation with the childminder - after which everything was declared “unsubstantiated”.
As a parent, this leaves me with absolutely no confidence that safeguarding issues are being taken seriously or investigated with the depth they require. It gave the strong impression that the priority was protecting the provider rather than protecting children.
Tiney refunded the fees I had paid, which quietly acknowledged the seriousness of the situation, but their written conclusion completely downplayed the concerns. The inconsistency between these two actions is deeply troubling.
Another major issue is the lack of proper oversight of provider records. Even after childcare arrangements ended, my child continued to be marked as “absent” on the childminder’s register. This raises obvious questions about record-keeping and potential misuse of funded hours.
In my experience, Tiney’s complaints process is not fit for purpose. It is bureaucratic, dismissive, and leaves parents with no meaningful support when concerns involve a provider registered under agency. Parents considering Tiney should be aware that if they ever need real safeguarding support or a thorough investigation, they may not receive it.
I would urge all parents to do extremely careful due diligence before trusting their childcare arrangements to Tiney. I expected a professional, child-focused agency; what I experienced felt more like a provider-protection service that a safeguarding body.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm Viktoria, the COO of tiney. I’ve carried out a thorough investigation of all the points you raised with the teams involved.
Upon receiving your email, we conducted an unannounced visit to the childminder’s setting. This is our standard approach when concerns are raised, and it mirrors exactly what Ofsted or another regulator would do in the same situation.

Following the concerns you raised, two senior members of the tiney team (our Head of Safeguarding, who has 30+ years of early years experience and is a former childminder, and a member of the Safeguarding Team who is a social worker with 20 years’ experience) visited the childminder in question.
This was an unannounced visit, meaning we arrived at the childminder’s premises without notifying them beforehand. The childminder had no opportunity to prepare or influence our investigation.
We observed the childminder’s interactions with the children for approximately an hour, specifically focusing on the concerns you highlighted. We found that the childminder’s relationships with children, hygiene practices, communication with children and parents, and educational approach were all fully in line with our high standards and with EYFS regulation.
Following this visit, we replied to your complaint to confirm that the visit had taken place and that we did not find evidence supporting the concerns raised.
I reviewed that response, and you are right that it did not include a detailed overview of the specific findings. I can see how this may have come across as dismissive, and I apologise - this was not our intention. We should have shared those detailed findings, and I will work with the team to ensure we improve this going forward.
The fee was refunded by the childminder as a gesture of goodwill. Because the payment was made through Tax-Free Childcare, we processed the refund, but it was the childminder’s decision. We should have been clear that this does not imply any admission of fault by either the childminder or tiney.
You were also right to point out an error in record-keeping. The day after you alerted us, we corrected this in the system.
When a funded contract ends, we receive guidance from the local authority (either directly or through their communications with the childminder) to ensure any remaining funding is used correctly. We digitised attendance record-keeping in our app so our team and parents can quickly identify and review any inconsistencies.
Overall, we invest heavily in both our team and our technology to ensure every tiney childminder meets the highest standards. I’m sorry that your experience wasn’t positive, but I stand firm that our Safeguarding Team acted swiftly and comprehensively in response to the concerns you raised. We could have done better in our written communication with you, and in ensuring that the terminated enrolment was reflected immediately in the system, and I will make sure we learn from this and improve both areas.
