We understand how frustrating it is when a cashback claim doesn't have the outcome you were expecting, especially if you believe you've met all of the applicable terms and conditions.

While TopCashback promotes the cashback offers available from our retail partners, the final decision on whether a transaction qualifies for cashback rests with the retailer. When a claim is raised, we submit it to the retailer for investigation and advocate on our members' behalf. However, we cannot override the retailer's validation decision or pay cashback that we have not received from them.

Where we believe there are grounds to do so, we regularly seek clarification, request further reviews, and challenge retailer decisions in an effort to achieve the best possible outcome for our members. The goodwill gesture offered was not intended to replace the cashback you were expecting, but rather to acknowledge your experience despite us not receiving the corresponding commission from the retailer.

We appreciate that this isn't the outcome you were hoping for, and we're sorry that your experience has left you feeling this way. We remain committed to providing a transparent claims process and continuing to advocate for our members wherever possible.

Based on the dates you've mentioned, if your transaction was made on 19 May, it has currently been 55 days, not 100 days. We just wanted to clarify this in case there has been some confusion regarding the timeframe.

We're sorry to hear that you experienced difficulties when trying to make your booking through our site.

The TopCashback website simply redirects you to the retailer's website to complete your purchase. We don't control the booking process or the availability of dates once you've been redirected. If dates were unavailable after clicking through from TopCashback but available when visiting the retailer directly, this may have been due to a temporary technical issue or a problem with the retailer's website at that time.

We appreciate how frustrating this must have been, especially as it meant you were unable to earn cashback on your booking.

If you experience this again, we'd encourage you to contact us before completing your purchase directly with the retailer. We'll do our best to investigate the issue and, where possible, work with the retailer to resolve it.

We understand how frustrating it is when a transaction doesn't track. We'd like to reassure you that TopCashback is not a scam. When a transaction fails to track, we submit a missing cashback claim to the retailer on your behalf. The outcome of that claim is determined by the retailer based on the tracking information they hold. If they advise that they have no record of TopCashback being the source of the purchase, we are unfortunately unable to award cashback that we have not received from them.

We appreciate that this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, especially when you made a conscious decision to shop through TopCashback. While we do everything we can to advocate for our members, we are ultimately dependent on the retailer's tracking and validation systems.

Unfortunately, claims can sometimes take several months to complete, as we rely on the retailer to investigate the transaction and confirm whether cashback is payable before we can credit it to your account. While we actively follow up on outstanding claims, we are ultimately dependent on the retailer's review and response times.

We're pleased that your claim was eventually approved and the cashback was made payable. We would like to advise that we actually do send notifications to your email when cashback gets payable. You might need to enable this on your email preferences on your profile page.

We understand how frustrating it is when cashback doesn't track or when claims take longer than expected to resolve. We also appreciate that this has left you feeling disappointed with our service.

We would like to clarify a couple of points. Firstly, we do not withhold cashback from members. Cashback is only paid once the retailer validates the transaction and pays the commission to TopCashback. Where a retailer declines a transaction or a claim, we are unfortunately unable to pay cashback that we have not received ourselves.

Regarding your comment about uploading receipts, while attachments cannot be added directly through the claim message thread, our team is always happy to review supporting documents sent via email when requested. If your Dusk claim requires an invoice or receipt, we would be pleased to request it from you.

We are also sorry that you felt our previous response was threatening. That was certainly not our intention. Our aim is always to maintain respectful communication with all members while ensuring our team members are treated with the same courtesy. If our response came across differently, we apologise for that impression.
