I booked this pedi ahead of my wedding. On arrival, Iryna failed to greet me by name or even look me in the eye, just instructed me to sit at the station then walked off. After 5 minutes she returned and started filing my nails. On seeing I have a bruise under one nail, she continued to file but advised she may not be able to do a pedicure. I insisted she check that before continuing; she sent a WhatsApp to someone who replied with a single thumbs down emoji, on which Iryna announced I could not continue without a doctors note, I would be charged anyway, and sent away. She would not even do a file and buff, without paint. Margaret Dabbs gave me a medi pedi on the same feet 10 days ago with no problem. She was rude and surly and I do not believe this is a valid reason to not at least file and buff.

Lovely salon, clean, modern. Friendly staff. Natalie did my express manicure and was amazing really easy to chat to and did an excellent job. Definitely come here again.

Love the salon and some technicians but very bad customer service. It takes hours for them to respond, they change appointments without leaving any time for me to accept or decline the change. They don't compensate for the inconvenience.

I’ve been here a few times already and even got a friend to come. It’s always hit or miss. The customer service specifically is appalling. They hardly speak to you or they’re too new (and therefore don’t have great customer service skills yet). I one time had a person who did not speak to me the whole time until I had to pay. The last straw for me was when I showed up for my 2pm appointment on June 12th. I waited there for 10 minutes. No one says hello, just says the name of the next person up. And I finally ask someone if my appointment is ready because it didn’t check me in on the kiosk. This person (Jess) tries to help but she’s didn’t understand what or how to start fixing the problem. She just kept playing with her iPad and showing me a cancelled notification on their end. Everyone else, including the manager Shannon, was helping a customer but until I said I wanted the manager’s name so I can contact Customer Care (because apparently that’s who you bring it up to - not the on-site manager which is so odd) then she comes over. She proceeds to ask if I paid online and I said I wasn’t sure, I don’t think so. So she says ok well sometimes they confirm it if you don’t pay so that means it wasn’t confirmed?! I received 3 email confirmations so how is that even an explanation?! She then proceeds to tell me that Jess had a client who was late for appointment now because I was asking for help and she was trying to help. I genuinely couldn’t believe how they handled that. I explained I paid for parking, I took time out of my day to come to this appointment and for the reason to be that it was cancelled because I didn’t pay online was ridiculous and all they did was apologize and told me to contact customer care. Shannon did say she would contact customer care but honestly the whole vibe from her was very dismissive. I do not ever plan on coming back to this location and would advise you to find a proper nail technician.

Visited Townhouse Nail Salon in Birmingham today - excellent service, friendly staff. I had a manicure, BIAB application and a beautiful cats eye mirrored effect. The nail technician was fantastic- really took the time to listen to what I wanted and delivered a great result. Great experience, skilled staff - beats the high street salon by a golden mile. Highly recommended

I have been visiting Townhouse every 3 weeks or so for around 3 years and had been pleased with my manicure. However they have introduced their own range of gel polishes and frankly the quality is dreadful quite apart from the fact that the choice of colours is very very limited. The worst of it is I have had my nails peel off for the third time and this has only happened with their own range of polishes. At over £50 a time I am now going to have to find somewhere else to have my nails done.

If i could give a 0 then I would.
My polish only lasted a day, so be warned, they believe that that is ok and my fault really.
I booked luxury performance manicure - UV Top Coat for extended wear, gel-like shine, faster drying and long-lasting wear (up to 10 days) £52 - but apparently there is no guarantee on this. So basically up to 10 days means 1 day only also - I feel mislead, lied to and then fobbed off.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
They did offered me a refund ( good will gesture apparently) in a way of credit to have another treatment - I made it very clear to them that if they can't deliver what they advertise/promise, then I have no desire to ever return to their salon (any of them) - and that's my problem, not theirs in their eyes.
Shocking communication, terrible customer service . BE WARNED
