We have taken two trips which Transindus helped organize, one to India and one to Laos and Cambodia. They were creative and excellent all the way around. Great guides, accommodations, transfers, etc. in parts of the world not so easy to navigate on one’s own. Their lodging choices are consistently interesting and good.

Reassuringly well planned, and the locl agents/guides/ drivers were there to make our experience faultless.
Our trip included everything we might wanted to experience in the area, giving us a real taste of the country

We have taken 2 holidays with Transindus, 1st was tailor made and was exactly what we asked for. The 2nd a group holiday organised by Transindus.
We had excellent guides and transport for both. Hotels were as described and of a really good standard.
Their planning and preparation are excellent which gives confidence.

The hotels (and tent) were brilliant and the TransIndus reps were excellent as were the individual guides. We saw the tigers and bears and other wildlife which was a plus. When Jet Airways changed their schedule which affected our homeward flight TransIndus found a solution and looked after us.

Trip went according to plan but from the start felt that TransIndus were not completely customer focused.
They initially recommended non-direct flights, when asked if direct flights were available the response was yes but they were more expensive. How much? Less than £20!!
Sigirya rock – the day TransIndus scheduled this was the same day on which it is extremely popular for Sri Lankans to climb the rock which meant we queued up for 90 minutes. We would have expected TransIndus to be realise this and suggest this activity for another day.
I emailed 3 people on Saturday at TransIndus and rang on Monday to speak to one of them. I was told 2 people were busy and that the other person was working from home. I asked if someone could reply to my email by the end of the day. No reply. Rang the next day and spoke to the person who had been working from home. I explained that I was disappointed not to get a reply. The person got annoyed with me, they had been at home ill!
We were a party of 2 but we were put in some large tour group type hotels.
Ella seemed to have a lot of choice of hotels. Ours was clean and functional but as our holiday was one of the most expensive we have booked it was disappointing.

Our driver took us to the same places for lunch that all the other tour companies and coaches used. Perhaps there are no other restaurants? However, at one such tourist restaurant the staff ignored us and our driver. We left and searched online and found an amazing place nearby. On our way back to Columbo we found a café on a river. Our driver loved it and said he’d bring future customers to it.
We expected TransIndus to provide local knowledge for us rather than us finding good places for our driver’s next customers.
We booked several months in advance.

Our recent trip to India combined the history and archaeology of the Deccan plateau with the natural history of Nagarhole national park. We enjoyed a variety of excellent accommodations and the accompanying guides were keen to share their knowledge.
The expertise and experience of Transindus in putting together interesting and varied itineraries is thoroughly recommended. The attention to detail and communication whilst away was appreciated.

We had nearly 3 weeks - 4 of us - in South India. We had a wonderful trip and there was not one hitch with the guides, hotels, boat trips etc.
Our driver was exceptional, a lovely man who really made the trip run smoothly for us. We were phoned nearly every day to check everything was ok. A real bonus was the Vamoos app on our phone.
We will use Transindus again without hesitation.

A very good company to deal with and who arranged and excellent trip to India

Excellent organisation throughout. Apart from Bansbari Lodge in Manas NP which was quite basic,the remaining accommodation was very good. The Brahmaputra cruise was excellent in all respects. As a keen birdwatcher I thought that the guides were superb, both keen and knowledgeable.

Meticulous organisation meant everything went very smoothly in India. The itinerary that Transindus suggested was well considered and the guides and drivers were unfailingly helpful. The local Transindus office kept in touch throughout, which was reassuring. I'd definitely avail of their expertise again.

We've travelled with TransIndus twice (1997 and 2018) and on both occasions the travel arrangements were impeccable.
