Complimentary parking not honoured
I booked a p&o cruise with travel village. I booked two cabins. Both cabins included some onboard spend and my sons also included complimentary car parking. Unfortunately, it was only on the drive down to Portsmouth that I realised I hadn’t had any information regarding parking. This meant that I had to book and pay for car parking myself at a cost of £120. I hadn’t noticed the small print on an email attachment that said I had to prebook at least 35 days in advance. I wasn’t told this at the time of booking or received any reminders about this. Also. although the attachment was sent to me it was actually addressed to my son and.
I am very disappointed that I have now lost the original onboard spend that I could have had and also ended up paying £120 for something that was included in the price of my holiday.
I have found the whole experience very stressful and would not recommend using this travel agency. In future I would definitely book directly with p&o. I am hoping that Travel Village do the decent thing and refund the cost of my parking but from the emails I have received from them I think this will not be the case . I am stuck in a situation where P&O are blaming Travel Village and Travel Villagd are blaming me for not reading the small print on one email attachment.
