The only minor thing was on 2 days a western lunch was served and it was pasta, which I don’t eat. So I just paid for something else off the menu without getting a credit for what I had already paid for. Everything else was exceptional.😀

Mariana planned a great trip for my family of 4 to Cuba. We were short on time with only 5 nights in the country, but she planned a great itinerary. She was so easy to communicate with, and she provided plenty of information well in advance regarding our trip as we were US citizens visiting Cuba and had to follow certain requirements. We felt completely prepared.
In Cuba everything was perfectly arranged as all our drivers, casa hosts and tour guides were always waiting on us in advance. We had no issues whatsoever in Cuba. Our casas were comfortable and our hosts communicated great and worked to accommodate our needs. Cuba is a beautiful country with wonderful and welcoming people. They need tourism and I highly recommend you travel there to support the Cuban people.

The TravelLocal team did an outstanding job managing our visit to Egypt. Throughout the trip, we were kept well informed as to the next days plans, who would be meeting us and when, and if we had any requests. All the personnel we encountered were courteous and professional - and on time. We had excellent drivers, expert tour guides, and great support staff; Mohammed, Islam, Shima, Ahmed, Waleed, and others were terrific. Our days were filled, which I especially appreciated. Considering that, let them know in advance of your trip if you have any last minute suggestions for additional/alternate sites. TravelLocal deserves a 5 and we would not hesitate to use them again.

We had a wonderful 15 day trip in Costa Rica. The itinerary fulfilled all our requirements and everything ran smoothly. It was well organised with good ongoing support from the GWA team.

The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that during the initial phase of booking accommodation there were delays and we missed out on our first choice of hotels.

This was our third trip booked through Travel Local and it was wonderful!
We had to postpone it twice due to family health issues, and Kamal was incredibly understanding, attentive, and communicative as we had to slightly revise our plans each time over two years.
We loved everything about our long awaited visit to Morocco! From the detailed itinerary to the beautiful Riads in which we stayed to the beautiful and varied routes we traveled, it was perfectly orchestrated.
It was amazing to have Youssef as our constant companion, driver, and guide during our 16 days there. He knows all the best places along the way and kept surprising us with unexpected delights like the monkey forrest and the best Berber pizza.
He was super helpful and worked very well with the excellent local guides to make this one of our best and favourite trips ever!!!

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment der Reiseplanung bei TravelLocal "verstanden" gefühlt.
Unser Ansprechpartner war Tommi, der uns schon beim ersten Gespräch per VideoCall sofort ein "gutes Gefühl" vermittelt hat. Sehr sympathisch und punktgenau konnte Tommi aus unseren Vorstellungen, die recht kurzfristig und auch speziell waren, eine perfekte Reiseplanung "zaubern".
Wir haben die Hin- und Rückflüge (Deutschland - Brasilien) selbst gebucht. Die erste Woche waren wir bei unseren Freunden in Sao Paulo.
So begann unsere Planung mit Tommi mit der Abholung in Sao Paulo an der privaten Adresse - dem Transfer nach Paraty: Tommi ließ uns die Wahl, selbst zu entscheiden, wie wir durch Brasilien reisen wollten. Wir entschieden uns für einen flexibleren, privaten Transport, was für uns auch im Nachhinein gesehen die absolut richtige Entscheidung war! Ein zuverlässiger, pünktlicher und sicherer Fahrer brachte uns ganz entspannt zu unserem nächsten Urlaubsziel: nach Paraty.
Für Paraty hatte uns Tommi ein zauberhaftes kleines Hotel gebucht! Es war perfekt gelegen und einfach nur spitzenmäßig. Das Pousada Vila do Porto war für uns optimal und wir möchten uns bei Tommi herzlich für seine Auswahl bedanken!!!! Mit diesem Hotel hat er einfach genau das herausgepickt, was zu uns perfekt passte: Lage, Frühstücksbuffet, Sauberkeit, alles bestens! Er hatte uns bereits im Vorfeld verschiedene Tipps für unsere Tage in diesem Ort gegeben, so dass wir ungezwungen und individuell verschiedene Empfehlungen ausprobieren konnten. Unvergesslich! Ob das eine Bootsfahrt zu verschiedenen einsamen Stränden und Inseln war. Ob das eine Fahrt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach Trinidade war, oder auch ein Abend im Stadtzentrum mit verschiedenen Restaurants und Bars mit Livemusik.
Weiter ging die Reise ab Paraty mit einem privaten Transfer, welcher uns wieder superpünktlich am Hotel abholte und nach Rio de Janeiro brachte.
Unsere Gesamtreise war so geplant, dass manche Bausteine von uns selbst gebucht wurden und Tommi passende Ideen mit uns absprach und punktgenau an unsere Pläne ankoppelte. Mit Rio war es wieder so: der Transfer ging zu einem Apartment, welches wir - auch unter Rücksprache und Empfehlungen von Tommi - in dem Stadtteil Copacabana (einer Parallelstr. von der Strandstraße Copacabana) gebucht hatten.
Die Absprachemöglichkeit mit einem ortskundigen Ansprechpartner empfanden wir als ideal, da er uns dank seiner Erfahrungen mitteilen konnte, welche Stadtteile für unseren Aufenthalt geeignet waren und welche nicht. Wir entschieden uns also auf sein Anraten hin für ein kleines, sehr cooles Apartment in der Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana.
Ein deutschsprachiger Guide holte uns am nächsten Tag pünktlichst am Apartment ab und mit ihm verbrachten wir zwei tolle, informative Touren durch Rio de Janeiro. Als Einheimischer kannte er natürlich viele Tricks, welche uns auch später noch weiterhalfen. Er verbrachte mit uns das Osterwochenende an den interessantesten Plätzen der Stadt und ließ zusätzlich Raum für eigenes Erleben. Es war alles rund! Dank ihm war am Abreisetag auch das Problem "Gepäck" gelöst: wir mussten im Apartment bereits 10.00 Uhr am Vormittag auschecken und wollten erst am späten Abend weiterfliegen. Den Koffer wollten wir verständlicherweise nicht den ganzen Tag dabei haben (unser Plan war, auf eigene Faust mit den öffentlichen Bussen nochmal ins Zentrum zu fahren). Prompt nahm unser Guide Pedro Landsberg den Koffer ins Auto. Wunderbar! Es war irgendwie alles unkompliziert - die ganze Reise über!!!! Alles fügte sich ineinander!
Den Flug nach Foz do Iguaçu sowie das Hotel vor Ort hatte nun wieder Tommi geplant und gebucht. Die Flugzeiten hatten wir miteinander abgestimmt und so wurden wir in der Nacht vom Flughafen in Foz do Iguaçu von einem neuen deutschsprachigen Guide pünktlich abgeholt. Das von Tommi gebuchte war wieder ideal: das Wyndham Golden Foz Suítes. Und nun begann der für uns wichtigste Punkt unserer Reise! Der Guide war an zwei Tagen mit uns unterwegs; einmal auf der argentinischen und einmal auf die brasilianische Seite des beeindruckendsten Naturschauspiel, was man sich nur vorstellen kann! Die Iguaçu-Wasserfälle! Ein Naturspektakel der Sonderklasse - ein Traum! Man muss es gesehen und gefühlt haben! Gigantisch!
Auch hier hatte Tommi an alles gedacht - bis hin zum Transfer zum Flughafen in Foz do Iguaçu.
Den Flug nach Sao Paulo, den letzten Tag mit unseren Freunden und den Rückflug nach Frankfurt hatten wir wieder selbst organisiert. Doch wirklich wahr! Vom ersten Moment der Planung war Tommi für uns da und hat genau das organisiert, was er uns versprochen hat! 1000 Dank! Und garantiert wieder!

HOA in Hanoi hat für uns eine unvergessliche Reise nach Laos, Vietnam und Kambodscha organisiert. Wir haben viele Sehenswürfigkeiten gesehen und alles war hervorragend organisiert. We've enjoyed a fantastic two weeks in Vietnam with Travel Local. Our personalised itinerary was designed to give us a good variety of experiences through the country. My recent trip to the Philippines, traveling from Manila to Puerto Princesa and on to El Nido, was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Everything was arranged through TravelLocal, and the entire journey ran incredibly smoothly from start to finish.

One of the standout aspects of the trip was how seamless the transport was. Every transfer was coordinated, which made moving between destinations stress free and allowed me to fully relax and enjoy the experience.

The activities throughout the trip were truly wonderful, offering a great mix of adventure and natural beauty. A definite highlight was snorkeling at Shimizu Island, where the crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life made for an unforgettable experience. Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Reise! Da unsere siebenjährige Tochter dabei war, war uns wichtig, dass alles kindgerecht geplant wird - und das hat perfekt geklappt. Die vorgeschlagenen Aktivitäten waren super ausgewählt, abwechslungsreich und die Tage nicht zu vollgestopft, so dass auch noch genug Zeit zum Spielen und Planschen blieb. So hatten wir alle eine tolle Zeit und haben Land und Leute lieben gelernt.

From the start, planning an itinerary, choosing hotels and picking different experiences to enjoy , was easy and fun.
Very good suggestions were made and we never felt it was an issue when we decided on different hotels than the ones suggested.
Our driver, Chana, was the absolute best and did everything in his power to make the trip perfect.
He took very good care of our 19 year old granddaughter who is strict vegetarian and the company chose only the very best Naturalists to accompany us on hikes and when on safari.
We felt safe the whole trip and the planning each day was perfect.
We still had plenty of free time to add in other adventures along the way such as zip lining, bike riding through villages, booking massages and river canoeing.
We highly recommend Travel Local.

We wanted a personalised tour of India and the search results put us in contact with Travellocal. Travellocal in turn put us in contact with an agent in India. We advised Rahul what we wanted to see and he returned an itinerary which surpassed our expectations. Rahul arranged our hotels within our budget, driver for the whole tour and guides in each location. Included were other places of interest and experiences which enhanced our tour. Our driver took care of us at all times and the guides in each location were knowledgeable.

The experience on Cappadocia was great. We booked our own hotel, driver and guide were excellent. Our guide in Izmir was terrible an even after asking not to have him the following day, not only did we had to have the same guide, he followed us around and made very inappropriate comments. Owner of the company reached out, said he was going to meet with our group to discuss and understand what had happened and he never showed up. The guide in Kusadasi was spectacular. Once we arrived in Istanbul we waited for 50 mins for our driver. It was raining and 33 degrees Celsius where they had us waiting and the excuse was bad traffic. After several text messages they insisted we stayed waiting outside with our luggage getting wet and an 8 year old. Part of our tour was to go to the Grand Bazaar and they never disclosed to us that is was closed for all 3 days we were there do to Ramadan. We had prepaid Hamam experience but when trying to upgrade, we could not do so directly with the place. So 2 good guides out of 4, we also learned that they are all contractors an none of them work for the company. One of the guides had no idea of our itinerary at all. Furthermore the only hotel we did not book ourselves was in Kusadasi, upon arrival we learned that the ho was under construction an many of the amenities were closed, which was never disclosed to us either.
This trip was planned with a long time and the services provided was not what we expected. 2 of the guides wanted to conduct our days as if we were a big group instead of a 7 people private tour as we booked and paid for.

Alles war gut organisiert, wir hatten kleine Gruppen wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Die Reiseführer waren sehr professionell und angenehm.
Die Hotels waren sehr unterschiedlich, das erste Hotel war sehr einfach, die erste Nacht haben wir im Zimmer kaum Raum zum bewegen gehabt, dann durften wir in ein anderes Zimmer. Das finde ich unangenehm, wann man im Hotel nochmals umziehen muss.
Am schönsten war das letzte Hotel mit Pool an der Pazifikküste.
