Very disappointing service had a policy…
Very disappointing service had a policy old for new when I reported a leak I called up and explained what happened and asked them to repair was told I had to get estimates they don’t so I did sent them in in the mean time a assessor came out and agreed what I needed done weeks later they replied with they needed estimates with my address on it so had to do again the amount came to 10k approximately they come back with a offer of just past 6k and due to the company not being vat registered they didn’t except this each correspondence token weeks inbetween and they give the excuse they were busy with other claims this has taken so long my hand was forced to except the offer leaving me to try and do a lot of the unskilled work myself inbetween working and have a lower standard of flooring that I had so I could get my home back to a living standard the areas damaged were my lounge and bathroom so you can imagine how I have to live this toke over two months before I had to except the claim giving me 5-6 weeks to get my home ready for Xmas if I can get the trade men in I need
Leave this company well alone bullies praying on your situation changing goal posts and god knows what hide book for prices they use must be 20 years old

30 years paying home insurance without a claim and the minute something happens they find a reason to not pay the claim. Shysters. Find a better insurance company.

I would like to thank the two polite…
I would like to thank the two polite and professional men who attended my property as first responders to inspect a leak in my bathroom. They were both very courteous, friendly and helpful, and took the time to explain everything clearly. They installed a drying machine and kept me informed about what they were doing and what would happen next. Their professionalism and reassuring manner were greatly appreciated. Excellent service from both men — thank you!

Relatively smooth
The majority of the claims process was smooth and the online portal is easy to follow. However whenever I asked a question on the portal, it sometimes took several days before I received a reply.

The gentleman (Zachariah) who has been …
The gentleman (Zachariah) who has been dealing with my case has been extremely helpful. He has gone above and beyond working to get a successful outcome for me. He has really listened to me and l feel he totally understands my predicament l am in. I thank him for all his help.l have an ongoing problem with my shower it has been out of action since.July. I have been writing on the portal since then. I made an official complaint at the beginning of August but apparently the lady from the complainant department who phoned me at that time-did not log the complaint therefore it took my daughter to cause a fuss to get things moving after 3 months. Once Zachariah from the complainants department rang he has managed to arrange an Airbnb for a month while my all the work needed gets done. Plus compensation.

Very professional
I have used policy expert for many years, this is the first time i have made a claim in 2 decades. It was very easy even though i thought online claiming might be difficult. Michael and his team were professional
Michael and his team were professional, timely and efficient in their role as first responders. He explained exactly what they were going to do and what the next steps would be in the claim. A great service considering they were responding to a flood. They are a real credit to Policy Expert.
