You would do an Investigation? I hear from other try tag people in other areas of London there similar complaints go onto deaf ears. Sounds like u couldn't investigate a toilet roll

Great way to keep fit and have fun!
Great non-contact sport for everyone
It's a very welcoming, well organised, and incredibly fun non-contact sport to play. The referees are particularly good at explaining the rules and maintaining the flow of the game for new players. The socials are always fun too!
Great Social & Activity - Very Enjoyable
Great bunch of people met through this and the mixture of abilities works well for everyone!! Will certainly be joining season after season
Best way to make friends in Brighton
Best way to make friends in Brighton. I love tag.
Give TTR a try
Joined the league in Oxford after a free taster session a little under a year ago. Found it really friendly and fun, perfect for making new friends especially if you're new in the area or want to start something a bit different. It's good if you're a more established player or if you're new to rugby and team sports in general like I was. TTR in general is pretty well organised and there's always something going on to get involved in.
Even if you’ve never played before give it a go
I recently moved to the uk and decided to try tag rugby randomly without knowing anybody here. I was put in a team of individual players and we’ve all become great friends on the back of playing together. It’s the best part of my week without fail!
TAG FRIEND :)
The league in Burnage is so social and everyone is good friends and chats even from separate teams. Adam really promotes this by knowing everyone’s name and creating such a good vibe every Wednesday :)
Give it a go!!
Been playing Tag in Oxford now for 5 years and honestly couldn’t ask for a better group of people. It’s a real friendly and fun atmosphere. This doesn’t just extend to Oxford I have been able to visit all areas of the country with the Tagfest series and UK Tag Nationals and made friends everywhere I have been. Tag is an inclusive sport giving you opportunities to play mixed, mens, women’s and age specific categories as well as divisional play so literally anyone can get involved!!
Addictive fun & social sport for all
I’ve been involved in tag rugby for a decade. I’ve run as many as four teams as interest has just grown & grown. We’ve had players from 14 to nearly 60 & those who have played rugby before & players completely new to it & obviously both guys & girls. With rolling substitutions & only playing on a 1/2 pitch you don’t have to be super fit either but your fitness will grow. It’s a really inclusive fun sport that’s growing so fast & has a fantastic social scene too. We’ve literally had hundreds of players come through our squad the Redingensians Coach Potatoes, some have played for a decade at a social level through to others who have progressed to regional competitions & even GB level. It really is a sport for all.. once most people have had a run out they’re normally hooked.
Great fun, loads of extras
Great fun, really well run. Very social and my favourite league I've played in. There's so many extras that Rog and the team all organised such as the tag festivals, prizes for players of the season, most friendly team etc as voted by the players.
Oxford Thames Valley
I have joined the Oxford Thames Valley League and found it to be a wonderful, friendly and welcoming group of people of all abilities. The league has grown enormously and there is space for people of any experience level, with older heads regularly helping out newer teams so that everyone is involved and enjoying themselves. There are also higher ability teams and the chance to trial for national level tournaments.
I joined on a whim to prepare myself for the contact season and ended up staying throughout winter as well. I would recommend this league to anyone and could not be happier with the organisers and the atmosphere they have created.
Competitive but social!
Try Tag Rugby overall strikes the right balance between competitive sport and social which is reachable for all backgrounds and abilities.
The social aspect is fantastic and is a great way to meet likeminded individuals who are interested in playing sport in a social setting or challenging themselves in the pursuit of improving at a sport.
I would highly recommend try tag rugby (especially in the Thames Valley region!) to all!
Fun and social sport for all
Fantastic fun and social sport for players at all levels with minimal contact.
As someone who has been involved in all forms of Rugby; this is the future for its inclusiveness with opportunities for players, coaches and officials at all levels of experience.
I have played for 5 years, it’s the best!
I have played Tag Rugby (Thames Valley) for nearly 5 years now, every Wednesday night without fail, it’s safe to say I love it.
I look forward to it every week
Everyone is incredibly friendly
It’s a social team environment and people are taken care of from day one, all ages, ability’s and experiences welcome.
There are also people within the club who can introduce you to other activities such as:
Climbing
Stand up paddle boarding
Union (contact rugby)
Social nights on the town
And much more
I 10000% recommend coming down on a taster and saying hi!
Everyone is welcome 🤗
Tag Rugby
The community of people at Tag Rugby makes it. The Tag Rugby itself is super fun, so well run and a great workout. It's a brilliant, supportive sporting community, where you can meet loads of great people too.
I'm so glad I signed up to a Try Tag…
I'm so glad I signed up to a Try Tag Rugby league. I was hesitant about signing up as an individual at first, but I'm glad I did, it's lots of fun and a fantastic way to meet people and make new friends.
The leagues are really well organised and everybody has been really friendly.
Oh great
Oh great, all your grubby, and sweaty players in shorts are swamping my local pub now. Any chance you could get them to wash, and have an atitude check before next week?
Give it a go.
I can highly recommend Tag Ruby. It's a really fun and accessible way to exercise and I regret not giving it a go years ago. The organisation is very slick and all staff be it office or pitch have been very friendly and approachable. The only exception was at a North London taster. The Venue Supervisor at the social afterwards loudly and publicly exclaimed that I had "played s*%t and had no natural talent". They were of course right! It's also right that I can have a couple of drinks without becoming obnoxious.
I can only give 4 stars for a couple of reasons. The standard of refereeing is appalling. This will cost you games as well as winning some. Overall, not a positive experience. In fairness this is tough task and they are constantly advertising for Refs as well as running training workshops. The next reason is the so called 'beginners' leagues. I was initially placed with an experienced team in an experienced league. It started off friendly enough, but I rapidly grew tired of the dirty looks for making novice mistakes. The next was in a beginner's league on a beginner's team. What could possibly go wrong? One had played international schoolboy rugby; another was a rugby coach! Many were very experienced tag players. The other 'beginners' teams had similar makeups and hung around beginners' leagues as they liked to win. Again, it started off friendly enough, but I soon found myself getting shouted at by when playing against experienced 'beginners' teams. If like me, you find yourself on a team who actually believe they are in televised Rugby World Cup Sevens match and their Mum is watching then be prepared to walk. There are dozens of leagues and hundreds of teams. Find one that deserves you.

Resposta da Try Tag Rugby
Fun sometimes but need to balance the leagues better
Have tried this a few times now as a beginner, and each time it usually starts off quite fun, with a nice social relaxed atmosphere, and then you end up playing a team who are treating it like the World Cup Final and you end up getting penalised for things you've never been taught before whilst you lose by about 20.
There seems to be a real issue with beginner leagues to me, in that yes you'll get a few teams that are genuinely beginners, and then you have teams which have no business being anywhere near that division. It's just not fun.
