We have used youtube tv for over a year now. The cost has increased, and Zen moments have increased to a point that it has become a driver to leave the product. They need to consider the customer.

The programs and selection for our wants are perfect but, the platform itself is terrible. It frequently buffers and freezes. So annoying. Plus it is annoying when they give you a laundry list of what is wrong other than their inferior platform. We have Disney +, Max, Apple TV and Prime and NEVER have an issue with those. BTW, our internet speed is 400mps. We are currently researching our options and will gladly switch when we settle on one. Also, date of experience? Can't narrow it down to one day Trustpilot.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We did a free trial, decided it was nice but not for right now, maybe another time. Ended the trial during the period. They charged us the following 2 months even though we cancelled within the timeframe. Talking to customer service has been no help at all, we had to get our credit card company involved. It still isn’t resolved 5 calls later. Even reaching them is impossible. I will NEVER go back to YouTubeTV and will warn everyone who asks.

My subscription lasted about one hour due to the difficulty in signing on and then finding out that I did not get the free trial or the reduced rate and apparently no refund since one paid your money will not be refunded even if you cancel in less than a day.

They keep raising their prices but they still have the money to sponsor the NBA Finals. I'm sure most of their subscribers pay for that. That's only one of the reason I dropped these clowns.

Tv.youtube.com is terrible. It puts ads in everywhere its greedy overlords demand, even when you try to fast forward on recorded content. Very disappointed with the service, you are held captive too frequently. And, its expensive for what it is. I have had their service for over 20 months, no more!

Hulu was getting too expensive, so I thought I would give Youtube TV a try. They had a 21 day free trial, but after a day I decided I didn't like it, so I cancelled via Google subscriptions. 21 days later my credit card was billed for $63.80. I tried to contact customer service, but the only phone number is answered by an AI app that keeps repeating the same questions. I eventually logged a dispute with my credit card and they have temporarily removed the charge. I did find a Google website where you can file for unauthorized charges, but after a week, I haven't got a response. I have also removed all my credit card info from Google subscriptions hoping they won't try charging me in the future.

Update. I received a reply stating they have declined my dispute, but not giving a reason, so I filed another complaint saying the fraudulent party was them. I also contacted my credit card requesting that Google and YouTube is a fraudulent company and barring them from charging my credit card for the next 5 years. This was to prevent them from billing me next month. I also removed my card data from Google Pay, but they keep putting it back in. I'm thinking this could be a class action law suit against Google.

I have been trying to cancel my “30-day” trial since 3/3/2025 - 3 days after signing up. Every device I use says I don’t have an account, so I can’t use their cancellation instructions. Their phone number says “we are having difficulties with our phones, but our best techs are working on it.” No phones for months! Plus they started billing me after 20 days, not 30. I have to dispute the charge EVERY MONTH. Save yourself. Don’t sign up. Who would think Google needs to steal from people? Apparently, that is the business model.

The platform itself is a disaster. I have chromecast with google tv, PS5 and a bluray player, all with the Youtube TV app. ALL of them constantly freeze or buffer on my home network. My network is not the problem. On these same devices, Paramount+, Hulu, Peacock, ESPN+ all work without issue. The poor functionality led me to cancel the service 4-5 MONTHS ago. Without warning or authorization, they unilaterally decided to reactivate the account and charged me $73 today. Shady business practice for a trash platform.

It’s impossible to cancel their subscription. Therefore, I would stay away from YouTube TV Find another streaming pub for TV one that’s more user-friendly to cancel.
Life is too good and too short to deal with companies that make it so so difficult to cancel subscriptions .
It’s not worth it.

Price keeps going up and so do the commercials we have to watch. Save your money and go elsewhere. They keep adding channels that I don't watch. I don't speak Spanish. I don't like soccer. They suck.

I asked Youtube TV a question about this 2 months ago and got no reply. Great customer service.

The worst user interface of any of the providers. Tried for 2 days to find the channel guide, then cancelled. If I have to watch youtube videos and read articles to find the channnel guide something is wrong. And even with the internets help, I still couldn't even find the channel guide. Cancelled while still in the trial faze. Embarrassingly bad product. Would give 0 stars if I could

I have been trying to close my account. They have over charged me 3 times in 3 months. Now I was told I would get a refund and my account would be closed. 5 days ago. They are scammers just like planet fitness. Garbage. Use anyone else beside this crappy streaming service.

Youtubetv wont let me watch nfl sunday ticket annymore since i canceled it. I paid for the year but since i canceled youtube tv for their extravagant price increase they wont let me watch it anymore. I have the NBA package and i can still watch that on YouTube tv so why not nfl sunday ticket?

I feel for the prie they do offer alot of channels,and I like you can hide the channels you don't want from the guide,BUT I tried it for about 10 days on my free trial and the guide has a problem you cant skip ahead to look at whats up coming like 2 or 3 or more days without going through every time slot every day waste of time. The recording system problem, very confusing, if you put a show recording in your list it will record every time that show comes on evening the old rerunsso you end up with a whole of stuff you dont want to watch and you can t delete them or there is no way to record only new shows in a series so if you watch a movie for example and it comes on again in the future it records it again like hallmark for example.

DISHONEST BILLING, FAKE FREE TRIAL

They have a 10 day free trial. I cancelled in less than an hour. 30 days later, they charged me $49.99.

It's impossible to reach customer service. After a week of trying, i denied the charge on my credit card. YoutubeTV actually reversed my reversed charge! Even though I submitted proof of cancellation.

Unbelievable.

Last time I ever sign up for anything with Google.

I have YouTube TV and I spend 6 months up north and 6 months in Florida. YouTube TV takes the arbitrary position that my home area is up north. Therefore when I get to Florida, they provide me with limited or no service. I’ve tried to update my area to Florida but they claim that I must return up north regularly or they will cut off my Florida tv service which they have done.

I’ve tried to contact them, had a chat with one of their representatives and no resolution of the problem so I’m paying $83 a month for service they refuse to provide me for the 6 months I’m in Florida.

I am therefore canceling my YouTube TV service and looking for a cheaper and more reliable alternative. This bunch couldn’t care less about their customers.

back in 2021 I tried YouTube TV did not like it cause it was really expensive and I canceled it even though it was canceled. I was still charged $71 for the next month. I called and they said they were going to refund it in between the time I canceled it and the time they decided to refund it was about a month later and I had changed the banks so I never received that money fast-forward to four days ago I had started a YouTube channel went on absence to put in my payment method and I saw where YouTube TV still owed me $71. I contacted them through chat and was told that they would initiate it to pay me back and they would send me an email once I receive that email. I saw where they initiated to give me the money back but they were putting it in the account that I no longer have sadly, I have been calling texting and chatting for the last four days to try to get my money sent back to me on my current bank account. I have been ignored and just been treated horribly like they just don’t care buyer. Beware if you have a problem with YouTube they don’t care about you. They’re not gonna help you and God forbid they owe you any money or a discount cause they’re not going to give it to you because here I’ve been waiting for my refund for three years and now four days three years and four days to get a $71 refund stay away

I'm very disgusted with You TTV. That Zen crap drives me crazy looking at meaningless clips of baby penguins, bears ect.... for 3 to 5 minutes. Such BS. And repetitive movie play, over and over the same movies. That's ridiculous. SmH.

This streaming service is a joke. Now they want to up there price another $10, and it doesn't even want to come on half the time. Will be looking into different service, I'm not paying $90 for this crap.
