Utter crap from start to finish. About the 3rd run in I've had with TV licensing with harrassing letters or nonsense website.
Letter - your email address is invalid, please change it
Website - cant tell you what your emaill is and you need to enter it to change it.
The whole thing is circular with the aim to get you to admit and pay whatever the question (Ive paid). Once got through to an agent and spoken to more intelligent brick walls.

Anyone who works here is either sick or has no morals and should look at themselves carefully -

Oh one highly stupid and thoughtless part of the process - one of the main reasons you may not need a license is you live abroad yet the website does NO work abroad and it ironically forces you to break the law [illegal in many countries] where you are by using a VPN to waste your time filling in a form

Where do I start. Here is an agency, who includes, in their "Reasons you need a TV Licence," viewing ITVx and channel 4 !!

The workers are racist! I'm waiting to resolve my problem 4 months,they keep my money and asking of payment. Mafia .The send letter and call you are criminal, The real criminal are walking free , gang of collectors

You are a disgrace, you really are taking the mick out of the people, we have to pay for a tv licence, and if you don't you bombard us with letters and threats and your goons trying to bully people at the door and you are giving free tv licences away to people no payment,, your not charging them a penny and I have to pay for channels I don't watch , i dont watch any of your stuff or even any live tv on any channel, I will now have to rethink my tv licence

Update: and now the court is sending papers to show me the case will open, and TV Licensing is STILL hiding.

2024 Minus 1 star. A court order directed this company to pay me compensation and despite that, they have not paid. It seems they can harass people, and force money out of them, but when they are required to pay up themselves nothing happens. That is disgraceful. I hate the comments where individuals felt they must get a licence even though they don't need one. It's blackmail. This old system needs to stop.

12 months of harassment. Selected do not require TV licence as I moved in, because I do not watch BBC or live TV. For the last 10 months I've received a letter every 2 weeks which is now threatening and harassment. Claimed at first that I've incorrectly selected I don't need a license because "they know" I have, yet they can't even put the letters to the address in my name - it's always the occupant.
Maybe they wouldn't be in such financial crisis from all of the cancellations and could save 1000s a year in sending out these threatening letters incorrectly. They're incredibly disturbing and such wording on them has caused my partner further distress as she is currently unable to work after losing her job due to her disability. Having a letter every 2 weeks staying someone will visit the address on a certain date has worsened her condition multiple times fearful of a knock at the door despite me reassuring her they're empty threats.

Why give the option to opt out if you're just going to decide that's a lie with absolutely zero grounds or evidence?
Harassment is illegal is it not?

I don't watch any BBC channels or radio channels you only see rubbish and repeats its waste of money paying. Now I've heard they going to charge you what ever your house is tax band is. Why are we still paying for crap put ads on so we don't have to pay

Not even 1 star..Absolute robbers...Waste of money. Watch the same thing almost 3/4 times a year at least, May as well kept your vhs tapes which would cost nothing

Every year I have to chase them up for a new payment plan. I pay monthly to save the huge bill at end of year. They are talking of the abolishment of it but then putting it on our council tax instead. Your ctax band will decide then what you pay. Higher band higher payment. If this new
plan comes in, those who dont even watch those channels will be forced to
pay regardless.. Its government controlled so it will always be there in one form or another. Where supposedly going towards production..

Levi was exceptionally helpful when I renewed my TV License. He was polite, professional and provided an excellent service.

I actually think one star is far too generous!
It was more trouble, hassle and stress setting up my T V License for my new home, then it was to actually buy my house!!

The trouble is, we HAVE to have a license and that's why any negative reviews is just water off a ducks back for them. Its about time, they had some competition!

Emailed them a completed exemption form with all my details including the address of my caravan. Only to receive an email back asking for the address! Sent another email which was answered with "we've updated" our records but no actual clarification that the exemption form I sent had been accepted.
On emailing again because I needed the clarity I was met with a rude reply from William Connelly, addressing me with the presumption of 'Mrs' and stating
" as previously explained to you".
Not what I expect from the BBC. I wondered if he would have answered a man in the same manner.?.

Repeated notification the householder had died. Repeated sending of threatening letters and today on going to the deceaseds house a missed a visit letter shoved through the door. Could it be they knew the householder was 100 and knew they could intimidate them into paying? Absolute vermin. Sooner the fee is stopped and outlawed the better.

After going the menus countless times and being prompted to resolve vi WhatsApp I eventually managed to speak to an agent!

After a call which should have been very straightforward basically confirming my Mum was 88 and in receipt of pension credit therefore exempt from paying eventually the agent said it would be reviewed then in the same scenence said it’s extended!!

I’m disgusted that BBC send out these vile threatening letters to old and vulnerable customers! Glad I deal with my disabled mums affairs otherwise this would have terrified her!

Possibly the worst organisation I have had the misfortune to deal with.

Totally disgraceful

Can’t get through to anyone but they make you call a number to cancel licence. Keep getting cut off when reaching front of queue. No option to write or email etc.

Zero stars. Refund issued they’ve sent it to an old account yet had my latest bank details to collect the money! Just absolute jokers getting money when it should be free so now it’s my problem to sort. I don’t think k so check with your account team!

total criminals i bought my licence 18/05/2025 and it says only valid until 30/04/26 so they have stolen 18 days payment-unforgiveable

I’ve never paid for a tv licence in my life, and I urge you all to do the same.
