I am often a tough reviewer but I have to say that my experience with UKProbate was perfect. Everything was done in good time, I was kept informed and there were no issues at all.

What initially felt a very daunting prospect, was made easy. Spoke to Tara first and then Sue dealt with everything after that. Swapped a few emails, checked all information was correct before it was sent to HMRC and probate. Professional, kind and informative, the fee was realistic!
I cannot recommend this company or their staff highly enough.

After receiving two probate quotes from local solicitors priced between £6,700 and £14,000, I was initially doubtful about using UKProbate due to their significantly lower costs. Sudden death of my UK-based child was for me not only a heavy blow from life, but also the necessity to conduct probate proceedings in a country where I have never lived and which legal system I have no knowledge of.
The procedure was described in detail on gov.uk, but the requirement to pay for the application by cheque/postal order was simply impossible for a foreigner to be met.

I found the thought of applying for probate myself very daunting and did not want to spend a fortune with a local solicitor. So then my search began.
I found that it was going to cost £300 just to apply for probate as the estate was worth over £5,000.
I then found uk probate and thought they sound to good to be true. They could deal with the probate and apply for it for £750, which was including the £300.
I searched for reviews and found nothing but 5* reviews. So I signed up. It took me quite a while to gather all the information needed, but I eventually managed. Sue Alexander was superb. She responded to each query very swiftly and put my mind at rest.
She applied for probate and received it in two weeks and three days. The service was outstanding. If only every company could be this efficient.

I received a very high quote for probate (£10,000) for what seemed a pretty straightforward will, so looked for alternatives and even considered applying myself. Then I found UK Probate Ltd and their fixed-fee service (£750). Like other reviewers, I have found them to be excellent in every way. Sue was very approachable and helpful and responded to all my emails and questions switly and knowledgeably. I would not hestitate to recommend to others.

At a difficult time following our mother's passing my sister and I were given various brochures concerning probate. We arranged a visit with one company who's agent came to us and tell us all the things that needed to be done. After a few hours we came to the point where an example quotation of over £2,000 plus vat was presented. We had looked on-line and discovered UKPROBATE and reading the very positive reviews we decided to take their service which was quoted at £750 all in. It seemed too good to be true but we are so pleased that we decided to use them. Initially we were told that probate could take around 12 weeks on average. Sue, Imogen and Tara looked after us very professionally. After sending us a comprehensive and easy to follow questionnaire we submitted this and expected a long wait for the probate grant to materialise. Incredibly it took just two weeks from submission to receipt. Along the way there were no surprises and everything went smoothly. We have recommended Ukprobate to others that we know who are just about to sort their probate and have let our funeral directors know too.

My father was meticulous in his paperwork but even though the probate steps seemed fairly straightforward we thought we would use a professional company to handle everything. UK Probate were recommended to us and we were so happy we used them. Firstly they actually saved us a lot of money as we didn't realise what could be included in the allowance, transferring the spouse allowance as well as the residency allowances. This gave us £1m threshold before IHT rather than the £350k we first thought, so we paid no tax on the £700k estate. Secondly, the forms were a lot more complex than we imagined and we were pleased that we didn't have to do it. Their service was very quick and very professional, all handled by email and we returned forms by special delivery. We were lucky that probate was granted within a total of 7 weeks and I am sure that this is mainly due to their name on the paperwork, as a recognised professional with HMRC. We cannot praise them highly enough, Sue took all the headache out of everything during what was a tough time anyway, and they saved us thousands in tax. Can't ask for more!

I highly recommend UK Probate Limited, which deals exclusively with probate. When you have all the relevant information from the deceased’s estate, you simply fill in their very thorough form with the numbers and they take care of the rest. All for a fixed fee of £750. (Summer 2024)

Having been told by a different company it could take up to 6 months to be given a Grant of Probate after the request is made, UK Probate suggested up to 3-4 months and in fact delivered within 3 weeks. Their rival was charging 10 times more than UK Probate.

UK Probate helped us to secure Grant of Probate within 2 months of my Father's passing.
