A massive thank you to EM and AB at KCT for all the hard work they put in personally and professionally when handling my fathers estate. They were thorough, sensitive, caring and kept us informed on a regularly basis and that really helped us cope throughout our grieving process. Excellent work both of you.

DON'T TRUST THE FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS!!!
If I hadn't just a significant personal loss, I'd consider going to the Ombudsman but sadly I don't have the strength. Kings Court Trust hold onto the money from your estate and hold onto it for as long as possible while draining it through various fees. They are dismissive and lack basic compassion which is a disgrace considering they solely work with clients who are grieving. They will not answer calls or emails and it will drag on for years and years, even if it's a simple estate, like ours was.

Please don't use Kings Court Trust.
The third party companies they use to *help* you sell the house and to give you the money upfront are scammers and loan sharks. Had I of gone ahead with their recommendations, I'd have been left with hardly any of my father's hard earned money.

They made the hardest years of my life (after the loss of my father) almost completely unbearable due to the added stress. They don't reply to emails or phone calls, they don't update you on what's happening and they're insensitive – it seems like they don't realise that you've just lost a loved one and are going through a difficult time. I've been left in the dark and frustrated for an entire year – it's made me break down at times due to how time consuming it is to get hold of them and to get any answers. It's a very slow and painful service. I asked to be updated more regularly than once a month and I was just threatened to be charged even more money than the £7K I'm already paying. Where that money is going, I have no idea. If Linda Hall is assigned as your probate specialist, please request someone else. But I strongly advise against using this company. They've made the hardest year of my life significantly harder.

It's also extremely suspicious that all of their Google reviews have vanished... I wonder why. They remove bad reviews and most of their positive reviews are written by staff members.

Becky Flynn has been incredibly supportive and helpful whilst dealing with my father’s estate. Everything has gone smoothly and Becky has kept us updated along the way. She has also sorted everything very efficiently and quickly. A truly great service that she has provided.

The guidance, help and time that Ifzal gave me throughout the whole probate process was invaluable. Without it I would have very likely omitted vital information on the online forms, costing time and more money than it cost to employ Kings Court Trust for their services. Ifzal really went above and beyond, spending hours on the phone to talk me through each step and to keep me in the loop. The whole process was completed in around 2 months, from my initial gathering of information to receiving the certificate of probate. I would absolutely recommend for peace of mind during a difficult time.

It is so easy to track progress via your designated Personal Estate Manager and quickly obtain a progress report or an answer to a question.

We're extremely satisfied with the very professional advice and service given by Kings Court Trust and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Megan in particular was always a pleasure to deal with, being unfailingly patient, helpful, polite and knowledgeable.
I would say however, that it's always important to check any figures given as, on one occasion, we noticed that a foreign currency value was recorded rather than its sterling equivalent. Needless to say, this was quickly and easily rectified without a fuss. Otherwise, there were no real issues throughout the entire process. A reliable and professional company to deal with, always ready to help with any queries as and when they arose.

The team made it very easy to proceed after a slow start on our behalf, I wanted to bring our original documents to the office myself and this was not a problem Katie Campbell met me in reception to receive them and confirmed receipt by email. After a phone call to check some details Hannah Pick set the wheels in motion and I had the Grant of Probate in just over three weeks which is much less time than I expected.
An efficient and friendly service which was recommended to me on social media and I would recommend going forward.

After my mother passed I didn't know what to do. I reached out to the Bereavement Service who suggested Kings Court Trust and I never looked back.

At the initial phone call Charles gave me different priced options depending on my needs. I chose to have KCT deal with everything.

I was appointed a Personal Estate Manager, Sophia Dowden. Sophia was available to talk to about anything that worried me no matter how big, small or complicated. She kept me updated frequently. Never once did I feel I was on my own. Sophia and her team are AMAZING, FRIENDLY and EMPATHETIC .

There were a lot complications and delays due to the sale of the property and setting up Trust Fund bank accounts needing proof of ID that was not always straight forward. The hand over from Alana to Sophia was seamless and both were always at the end of a phone and emails answered promptly. It has been a difficult time. I am of an age when being expected to do a lot of things digitally is not always easy. I was helped to cope with this aspect also. In all it has taken just over 2 years and I have felt supported throughout.

My beautiful brother Johan died in November 2023, and over two years later in 2026, Kings Court Trust still hasn’t finalized his estate. Johan was REAL - he was bigger than life, worked hard for everything he had, and loved his family fiercely. But to Kings Court Trust, he’s just a case number. They’ve taken over £52,000 from his estate through excessive fees (£34,895 in “administration expenses” - 11% of everything he owned) and poor property management. What should have been £77,000 for his elderly mother has been reduced to barely £25,000. This was our grief money - all we could have of him - and they’ve stolen it through delays, mismanagement, and complete lack of empathy. They’ve been rude, dismissive, and shown zero compassion for a grieving family. We have now faced our third Christmas without Johan while they continue to drain his legacy. My elderly mother asks me constantly “When will this be over?” and I have no answer. Johan deserved so much better than being treated like paperwork by people who profit from our grief. If you’re grieving, stay away from Kings Court Trust - they will exploit you at the worst time of your life.

Kings Court handled the Probate Application for my late twin sister and from start to finish the whole process was dealt with very efficiently. The Personal Estate Manager (Wayne Nobile) and Stuart Cook (the Client Support Consultant) were both very friendly and empathetic. They gave me very full explanations of the whole procedure and were always available if I needed to ask any further questions. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. The added bonus was that the Grant of Probate was received just two weeks after the application had been submitted by Kings Court.

Kings court trust made things a lot easier in a difficult time.. There was times i felt everything was overwhelming, they where excellent at explaining and helping.. Aoife who dealt with our family and all of our administration, probate, wills ect the list goes on and helped to explain everything to me was excellent.. I would highly recommend the company and Aiofe.

Really bad communication from out estate manager Curtis and made the whole experience stressful when its was ment to take the stress away. Very bad at keeping us up dated and took a year to resolve. No property was involved and noone contested the will. Very much Felt like heals were dragged. Fees added on for this and that, which we had no choice but to do to get to the next stage. Curtis would be out of office, on lunch or unavailable. It Would take numerous calls to get a response. This is such an upsetting and distressing time for a family. To be handled in such a sloppy manner was and still is, as it is still ongoing is a disgrace.

I had exceptionally service from Kings Court Trust, they were professional but so understanding during this difficult, sad time. My probate officer, Ifzal Hussain explained everything to me, kept me updated and as I am a technophobe guided me through anything on line. Dealing with Kings Court Trust made sorting out probate far easier than I thought , thank you
