A Very Disappointing Money Grab
Had great fun doing the event, however as the days pass on since I have done it, disappointment has crept in.
The whole event is a cash grab, which when I paid just shy of £40 (full price with no discount was £60 according to my confirmation email) is a bit disgusting really.
£5.00 to park your car, £3.00 if you want to drop a bag off, another £5.00 if you want to jump the leap of faith and if you want to buy your photos at the end another £9.00.
The only thing you get are two really tiny bottles of water (one at the end and one halfway) a protein sweet and a wooden medal (which looks really cheap).
As we booked a later slot, it seemed like everyone couldn't wait to pack up and go home and energy levels of the staff were low apart from the guy at the beginning who was awesome (to be fair to them, the weather wasn't great).
Also, a few of the more fun obstacles were missing from what was on the advertisement and the obstacles did feel a little samey. It advertises 15 obstacles that they have, however not all of them were there which was annoying.
It also advertised five different music stations about the course, we only heard two. It did keep our spirits up, for the brief times we were in that area.
It feels very disappointing and has absolutely tarnished the fun we had. I've done Cancer Researches Race For Life and Shine Walk, paid less, got more and the medals were better too.

Resposta da UK Running Events & Inflatable 5K
Hi Danielle,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that, although you enjoyed taking part in the event, your overall experience has left you feeling disappointed.
We’re sorry that the additional costs left you feeling this way. We do, however, want to reassure you that we aim to be as transparent as possible about any extra charges. Information regarding car parking and bag drop is clearly outlined on our website and in the pre-event communications sent to participants two weeks before the event. We also explain in our FAQs that Leap of Faith is an optional obstacle and is not included in the standard event entry.
Unfortunately, the weather on the day brought challenging conditions, including strong winds and rain. Our priority is always the safety of our participants, and we're pleased that we were able to deliver the event safely despite these conditions. Our team did their best to remain positive and encourage participants throughout the course. Due to the wind, we did need to begin packing down parts of the event village, and Leap of Faith had to close at 2pm for safety reasons. This was announced multiple times over the PA system.
Regarding the obstacles, all 15 of the advertised main obstacles were in place, as confirmed by our event map. The only exceptions were Leap of Faith, which is an optional paid extra, and Start Mountain, which is packed away once the final waves have completed the course, as participants do not return to this obstacle.
We're sorry if the later start time and the weather affected the atmosphere you experienced, and we appreciate your comments regarding the music stations, refreshments and medal. Feedback is important to us, and we will take your comments on board as we continue to review our events.
Had you raised these concerns with our team on the day, we would have been more than happy to speak with you and discuss your experience. We always want participants to leave having had a positive and memorable day, and we're sorry that, in your case, the disappointment has overshadowed the enjoyment you initially felt.
Thank you again for your feedback.
Best wishes,
Team UK Running Events.
Good, but lots of hidden extras
The activity was good. A bit pricey, but still good.
What was not good was the hidden charged like £5 parking, £3 bag storage, £5pp for the Leap obstacle.
It was already more expensive than other events and these charges tipped it over the edge.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the activity, although we're sorry to hear you felt the additional costs impacted your overall experience.
We do our best to be as transparent as possible about all charges, and we certainly don't intend for any costs to come as a surprise. Parking and bag drop charges are clearly outlined on our event website pages, FAQ pages, and in our pre-event communications.
The Leap of Faith is an optional additional obstacle that isn't included in the main obstacle course. This is also explained in our FAQs, and as it isn't shown on our main obstacle map, it is a separate, additional experience.
We appreciate that these extras can add up, and we take your feedback on board. However, we do make every effort to communicate these costs clearly in advance so that everyone can make an informed decision before attending. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
Best wishes,
Team UK Running Events.
