If you're looking for a solicitor to take your money over two years, promise to either negotiate reductions or write offs, only for them to do absolutely nothing; be almost entirely silent during the entire process, then ghost you at the end of the two years and end your direct debit - then this is a great waste of money for you.

Do not use these people - use your money to pay off your debts via settlements.

Get a family member or friend to assist you in negotiating with creditors or debt collectors. The earlier you speak to them when struggling, the more you're able to get assistance - best to contact debt collectors with a settlement that you'll pay over three to six months.

I'm a disabled person who ended up out of work due to my condition declining. Due to the increased cost of living for disabled people, I fell into debt prior to losing my job and it just got worse from there.
I enquired for help in August 2022, they were eager to help (or should I say, they were eager to take my money).
After two years, only one debt has been handled... It was settled for 40% of the total - which was great... But the rest are sat in limbo.
Then, they cancelled the contract without a word in July. I've not heard anything in MONTHS. They don't answer the phones, they don't answer emails.

DO NOT USE THEM. I'm down nearly £1.5k, which would've been better spent trying to pay the debts if I'd been able to negotiate with them myself. Sadly I can't advocate for myself, so I needed the help... Instead they just took advantage.

Jan 2021 I set up a direct debit, all seemed well at first.july 2024..started getting letters from banks I owed money to.Nothing has been paid off my debts so I am now back too square one...and over £3000 worse off because this company a total rip off

I approached this company who promised me the earth in writing off my debts. Initially communication was good, I provided all the information they asked for and they informed me that my creditors won’t contact me because I had signed an agreement for them to act on my behalf.

How wrong they were! I was constantly barraged with phone calls and letters from my creditors. Each time I informed Unique Solutions, the answer came back they were not replying to their requests. Yet I could contact my creditors with both emails and calls and always pointed them to Unique Solutions. I sent every letter I received and then it took them over a year to ask for my income/expenditure (alarm bells I ignored!!!).
Even then I had to send it to my creditors and cc’d them in. Their response? The creditors wasn’t responding to their request, yet I sent it them after another phone!

The final straw came when I asked for an update, Unique Solutions promptly sent an email telling me to cancel my Direct Debit followed by a lengthy email informing me my debts were unenforceable. Nearly 2yrs wasted and that money could have gone towards reducing my debt. 2yrs of this advise that cost over £2k!!

I was constantly receiving phones from companies to consolidate my debts. What was Unique Solutions doing? Why wasn’t my information out there, saying I was with them?

Nearly 7months of silence until I reached out.

So no, not a good experience at all and money wasted!

After 4 years of paying this company to manage my debts, I have been told that my account will be closed with no resolutions at all (apart from a link to contacting some money charities).
I now still owe my debtors the full amounts but I’m also thousands of pounds lighter due to the fees paid to them.
I can’t get hold of anybody to discuss this and nobody will reply to my emails.
Absolute waste of time and money.

Done nothing but take money off me and not herd of you for 6 months will not Recommend

I have sent numerous messages to you but no one responds. I’m getting persistent messages from Cabot who you are supposed to be communicating with. Need to know if you are talking to anyone about my account. It’s now been 2 1/2 years since you started my claim and you are still taking payments from me. My account no. Is 3472

I first started using these in 2019, I previously left a great review. But it is now 2024 and every month I have paid my fee. I am down to my last debt, I have had no update on months. I have been ignored in emails, I cannot get through by call.

Very disappointed now in what was previously great.

They are not answering the phone anymore, been told a while ago our account is no longer active, but they still take a fee from the bank , I think this is highly unprofessional, have been paying them now for 4 years!!!!!

They are professional , kind , and understanding and have lots of patience. I cannot recommend them enough especially Andy .
