Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service! I ordered a headboard which failed to arrive for a significant period of time. Numerous attempts at communication failed to be responded to. I tried to cancel my order and still no response. Eventually was contacted my the MD who assured me that I would receive the order but could I edit my trust pilot review. The headboard turned up months after the order was placed. It wasn’t great quality and not as shown in the picture. I was assured that I would receive a replacement and a £20 refund but could I remove my trust pilot review which I did still having some trust left. Since then - nothing! No replacement headboard, no credit, no communication! Buyer beware!

Very bad customer service no…
Very bad customer service no communication at all! I received my bed and the headboard was bumpy all over the wings! They told me there had been a mix up that my headboard had studs on and I’ve received a customers custom order to not have studs! On the website there is no pictures of any headboard with studs on anx my order didn’t have studs anyway 3 weeks later and I’m still stuck with this appalling headboard I’ve not received the new 1 that he’s obviously lying 🤥 saying i received the wrong headboard instead of just owning up to the quality of the headboard being very bad! They won’t collect the bed either for a refund so now I’ve left it to my Bank to get my money back stay clear of this company!

Thank you for the feedback.
As mentioned to you, there was an internal error with the courier company and you received the wrong headboard. We arranged for the correct headboard to be sent to you which did happen.
The product description states the bed comes with 'Chesterfield Curved Studded Wing Upholstered Headboard'.
Upon delivery there was a delivery note signed acknowledging the items were received in good and therefore wasn't eligible to be returned, however as a gesture of good will we still accepted and processed the return.

Customer service was just not good I was spoken to badly and I'm certain the mattress I ordered is not what I have .. they told me it may look different on the outside but the inners are the same ! False advertising in my eyes !
Mattress is a yellow colour one in the picture is a brilliant white ! Different pattern also .
Delivery driver dumped on door step but the body odour was just innesnse and even tho he was only on the door step my house wreaked!
Appawling and I will never buy again

The description on the Duke Orthopaedic Extra Firm Mattress you purchase states 'Please Note: mattress material, colour or print may vary' and in your instance it was different however we assured you the product was the same.
We are sorry for the poor delivery service you received, we use a third party courier company to complete the deliveries and as mentioned this issue would be escalated to the courier company.
At Universal Beds we don't tolerate any aggressive or rude behavior towards any of our staff, our customer advisor attempted to reach a reasonable conclusion to the matter with yourself however as due to the aggressive nature from yourself the customer advisor terminated the call, as per Section 20 of our Terms & Conditions of purchase.

Non delivery zero contact
If I could have given 0 stars I would have done, 3 weeks ago I ordered a headboard from this company, the item has not arrived yet and despite numerous phone calls to an answer machine and numerous emails they have failed to respond, The company have now apologized refunded my money and are sending me the item as a gesture of goodwill.

After buying items from exclusive market and powerdirect and being scammed of a total £780 it was refreshing to use universal beds who are not only true to their word that have a fast efficient delivery service and their beds are very good quality.
