Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share it.

We would like to clarify a few points. Our service provides online consultations and, where appropriate, prescriptions issued at the sole discretion of a GMC-registered Partner Doctor. We are not a pharmacy and do not dispense medication directly, nor do we state on our website that we fulfil prescriptions. Any prescriptions issued can be taken to any pharmacy, including our partner pharmacies, as well as other national or independent pharmacies, for dispensing.

We’re sorry that you experienced difficulty when trying to have your prescription dispensed. We understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly given the urgency of your request. When you contacted us, we provided guidance on the dispensing process and advised that your pharmacist can contact our technical support helpline directly while you are present in the pharmacy.

We strongly encourage that, in such situations, you ask your pharmacist to contact our technical support helpline while you are present in the pharmacy, so we can promptly assist and resolve any issues in real time. This option was provided during your contact and remains available.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback - we’re really sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this must have been, especially given the urgency of your request. During busier periods turnaround times can occasionally be longer than expected, and we sincerely apologise that this appears to have been the case here.

We would like to clarify that our FAQs does not state that a full refund is automatically issued if a you do not receive a call or outcome from your Partner Doctor on the same day. However, we do review each case individually, and where our service does not meet expectations or falls below usual standards, we aim to resolve this fairly.

We’d really like to look into this for you and reach a suitable resolution. Please contact our support team at contact@updoc.uk so we can investigate this as a priority.

As an Updoc Plus subscriber, we understand you’re likely familiar with our usual quick turnaround times, so we appreciate that this delay would have been particularly concerning. While we aim to complete most consultations within 60 minutes, this can occasionally take longer during busier periods, such as the recent Easter bank holiday weekend.

We can confirm that your recent requests have now been reviewed by your Partner Doctors, and outcomes have been provided based on their assessment. The vast majority of our users have a smooth and seamless experience with their subscriptions. To ensure transparency, we provide detailed information during product selection and payment, including confirming the subscription with your explicit consent. Our terms, billing cycle, and subscription model are clearly outlined at sign-up and reinforced in a confirmation email immediately after activation.

We’ve searched our records but unfortunately haven’t been able to identify your account based on the information available.

Please note that your Partner Doctor determines the content of the letter based on the information you provide and their clinical judgement. For this reason, we cannot guarantee any specific outcome in advance. However, we offer a complimentary amendment request service, where you can request changes to the content of your letter at your Partner Doctor’s discretion.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it must have been when your airline did not accept the documentation.

We’d like to clarify a few important points:

- The fee paid was for a consultation with your Partner Doctor, who issued a medical outcome at their clinical discretion. As outlined in our terms, all outcomes are issued at the sole discretion of your Partner Doctor.

- The letter issued is a valid medical statement from a GMC-registered Partner Doctor. However, acceptance of any medical documentation ultimately depends on the specific requirements of third parties such as airlines or insurance providers. Unfortunately, these criteria vary and are outside of our control, so we cannot guarantee acceptance.

- During the consultation request process, it is also clearly stated and agreed to that your Partner Doctor is unable to complete external or custom forms provided by third parties.

- If a third party requires additional clarification, we are able to help verify the medical letter and can submit a complimentary amendment request to your Partner Doctor for review. However, we cannot determine or guarantee whether a third party will ultimately accept the documentation.
